Whether you’ve got 100 guests or a pile of laundry in front of you, music
makes everything more fun. It can change a mood, lift the spirits, even
take you back in time.
But so many of us keep our music conned to one room or, worse, our
computers. What if you could rediscover your music library and experience
it all around your house?
Introducing Linksys by Cisco Wireless
Home Audio. It’s a whole new way to
enjoy music in any home. Set your
music free—wirelessly.
With Wireless Home Audio, you can access your music libraries on
different computers. Tap into millions of songs online through Rhapsody™1
and audiolounge™2and thousands of international radio stations with
RadioTime™. And hear them all through your home in precise synchroniz-
ation—or direct different music to different rooms. There are innite
possibilities, and one that’s just right for your home.

The easiest way to begin is with the Director. With this one device and your own
speakers, you can start playing your digital music in any room you choose. Maybe
you’d like some tunes in the bedroom or garage, but don’t want to trek your CDs
around the house or install a whole entertainment system there.
Sounds great!
How do I get started?
With the Director’s handy LCD display
and included IR remote, it’s easy to sit
back and control songs, artists, playlists
and volume. Of course, like all Linksys
by Cisco Wireless Home Audio devices,
the Director gives you access to your
digital music libraries, audiolounge™,
and RadioTime™for an endless
selection of music.

Already have a great sound system? Check out the Player. It
connects to your stereo or surround sound receiver in your home
entertainment center or to your powered speakers. The Player
makes the most out of your entertainment system by exponen-
tially increasing the music you can access. Rediscover some of
your old favorites, or nd new ones through streaming radio.
Expand your reach with the Player.

Don’t want to tinker with speakers? Still
love your CDs? Take your digital music
anywhere with the Conductor. Bring it into
the kitchen while you cook, then take it
out to dinner on the patio.
Let your music move you—and
move with you. The Conductor is a complete, portable
wireless music system, featuring a 50-
watt integrated amplier that drives its
built-in speakers, plus a built-in CD
player. Plug it in anywhere you want
music – from your own digital music
library or streaming from the Internet.
With a large touch-screen color LCD
and a handy IR remote, it’s easy to get
the music you want in an instant.

So how does it work?
You don’t have to be an expert at networking or hire a contractor to get music through-
out your home. Because Cisco is already the world leader in wireless networking,
we’ve gured it out for you.
Our technology uses your existing wireless router or modem/router to ensure all of the
components “talk” to each other and to your music sources. Unlike other wireless au-
dio solutions, our method preserves the clarity and richness of the original recording,
so you’d never know it’s wireless. It also distributes the music in perfect synchroniza-
tion, so there’s no echo effect when you’re playing the same song in different rooms.
Looking for
some tech talk?
Wireless Home Audio uses
embedded Wireless-N technol-
ogy to connect to your home’s
router or modem/router. Then,
through distributed decoding
technology, each Wireless
Home Audio player receives the
unmodied audio source mate-
rial without any trans-coding
or compression. The audio
is then reproduced by one or
more players, synchronized to
within microseconds in case of
multiple players, without any of
the compression and echo ar-
tifacts so often evident in other
wireless audio systems. All of
this means crystal clear music,
exactly as recorded, anywhere
in your home.
Our Easy Link Advisor wizard will walk
you through every step of setup, and you
can even control your music through our
handy PC-based application.
You can start with a Kit to get music
throughout your home right away, or
try it out in one room and add on later.
Because there’s no need to drill holes or
string cables, it’s not a huge commitment,
and it will grow with you.

Let your iPod®music out to play.3
Get more from your Wireless Home Audio
with an iPod dock. You and your friends
can pop an iPod right in to hear your
favorite songs, playlists, or podcasts. It
can connect to your Director or Conduc-
tor and play through any Wireless Home
Audio device.
Get the speakers that were
made for this job.
The Director works with your existing pow-
ered speakers, but this high-performance,
50-watt Stereo Speaker Kit was made to
complement it. Pair them to create a com-
plete, high-quality wireless sound system.
Put control at your fingertips.
When you want a true whole-home
experience, you’ll need the Controller.
This Wireless-N Touchscreen Remote
lets you control your Wireless Home
Audio components, wherever you are in
the house. You don’t even need to be in
line of sight.
Create or choose playlists. Browse your library by artist or song. Try new songs and
radio stations. Crank up the volume. Send the same song to the whole house, or set
a different mood in each room. The Controller puts the soundtrack to your life in the
palm of your hand.
