Assembling and operating the Exploding Ammunition Dump
Congratulations
2
Set the ammunition dump and it will explode with a direct hit from a missile.
Keep clear of the ammunition dump when the trigger is set. Beware of flying
parts and the snapping mousetrap mechanism.
1. Position the stamped metal base on your layout. To prevent movement of the base, you
may choose to drive two screws through the holes in the base.
2. Bring the spring-loaded arm forward (toward the “B” end of the base), locking it in place
with the trigger mechanism. Refer to Figure 1 on page 3.
Keep your fingers clear of the spring-loaded arm.
3. Slide in the trigger lock. The trigger lock will prevent the mechanism from tripping as you
assemble the structure on the base.
4. Position the larger roof/side panel at the “A” end of the base. Be sure that edge of the base
should fit between the tabs on the panel.
5. Position the other side panel at the “B” end of the base in the same manner.
6. Position the two trapezoidal end panels next to the base. The trigger lock will extend
through the slot in one of the sides. Be sure that the tabs on the roof fit into the end
panels.
To explode the structure, carefully pull out the trigger lock and stand clear. Fire a missile at
the ammunition dump and it will fly into pieces!
