Troubleshooting
Creek, Dam, Municipal , Rain Water
The filtration unit when used every day should be cleaned and dried daily,
and stored in a cool dry place. It is recommended if the filtration is used on
a daily basis, to be sanitised once a week. More regular if the water quality is
poor.
The unit should be disinfected prior to storage if not being used for more
than a week. The unit can be disinfected by pumping disinfection solution
through the filter and tubing , and having the suction side immersed in
disinfectant. Take out suction side pump 2 to 3 times to expel excess water ,
replace silicon stoppers and store unit.
Portable filtration unit should cleaned sanitised after prolonged
storage.
Follow the procedure as above to sanitise the unit using Chlorine
Dioxide tablets to make up the disinfectant solution.
Hint: Ensure UF cartridge is cleaned on a regular basis, as
deposits build-up can inhibit flow- to improve taste of the purified
water, the optional activated carbon filtration can be used to
further improve the water quality.
Making up the Chlorine Dioxide Sanitising solution: Add one tablet from
the blister pack ( accessory pack) into 500 ml of water - allow to dissolve
for 15 minutes and this will yield a sanitising solution with 100-120 ppm
free chlorine.
Please report any faults of your unit to our maintenance department,
for hints on more common problems please refer to the guide below:

Replacement frequency will depend on quality of water source,
frequency of use and frequency of cleaning of filter.
