MIDAS

 XLR CONFIGURATIONS
Recent MIDAS audi c ns les have used several different XLR task light c nnect r
rientati ns requiring min r m dificati ns t Littlite task lights in rder t p siti n
the g seneck light ptimally.
MIDAS PRO1.
The PRO1 4-Pin panel s cket is r tated 90° t the right and is l cated just under the
t p panel verhang. The verhang prevents ur right-angle XLR lights fr m snapping
int the panel s cket. A standard Littlite XR-4 series can be used (we rec mmend the
18XR-4-LED). The g seneck can then be p siti ned ver the w rk surface.

MIDAS PRO2.
The MIDAS PRO2 has tw 4-Pin XLR task light c nnect rs n the back panel. These
c nnect rs are als l cated just under the t p panel verhang that prevents a
standard Littlite XR series g seneck fr m snapping in place.
The Littlite LLX XLR c nnect r is designed t enable the pin insert t be r tated t
acc mm date different panel s cket rientati ns. (See bel w f r instructi ns).
The f ll wing m dels Littlites are pre-m dified f r the PRO2 c ns le.

MIDAS PRO2C
The MIDAS PRO2C uses ne 4-PIN XLR task light c nnect r n the back panel. Like
the PRO2 it requires a m dified Littlite in rder t snap int the panel s cket. Our
Littlite 18XR-HI-4 MR and 18XR-LED-4-MR are pre-c nfigured t w rk with the
PRO2C. Standard XR-4 Littlites with ur LLX XLR c nnect r can be m dified t w rk
with the PRO2C (see bel w).

MIDAS M32
The task light c nnect r n the rear panel f the Midas M-32 digital c ns le is r tated
180 degrees fr m the standard rientati n. A regular f ur-pin, right angle Littlite
requires a simple m dificati n in rder t w rk c rrectly with this c ns le.
Our LLX XLR c nnect r enables the pin insert t be r tated all wing the g seneck t
bend and clear the t p lip. The f ll wing instructi ns detail h w t re rient the pin
inserts.
Our 18XR-LED-M32 is prec nfigured f r the M-32 and standard XR-4 series lights
with ur LLX XLR c nnect r can be m dified t w rk with the M-32.

Changing Pin rientati n n Littlite LLX XLR c nnect r.
Our stan ar 4-pin XLR configuration positions the gooseneck at the top of the arc create by
the four pins. (Figure 1)

Remove the small set screw on the outsi e of the LLX barrel (Figure 2) an pull out the pin
insert. Be careful not to break the wires or lose the small hex nut inserte in the pin insert isk.

Turn the pin insert 180 egrees an reinstall the set screw. Be careful not to pinch the wires.

There will still be enough space between the gooseneck an the release tab on the XLR panel
socket to isengage the light for transport.
