Placement
For best results, place your Solar lamp in a
location where sunlight shines directly onto the
collector panel 4. Direct sunlight of at least 8
hours is ideal to ensure that the battery is fully
charged. The location must be free from shadow
and shade. Make sure that the collector panel
4is not subjected to light sources other than
sunlight. Otherwise, the lamp will not be swit-
ched on at twilight.
Initial use
³Remove the collector panel 4together with
the reflector 5out of the housing 6.
Turn the reflector 5somewhat against the col-
lector panel 4, until it releases itself from the re-
straint.
³Remove the reflector 5from the collector pa-
nel 4.
³Place the function switch 1, on the bottom of
the collector panel 4, at the ON position.
³Place the reflector 5and the collector panel
4back together again.
³Replace the collector panel 4, together with
the reflector 5, back into the housing 6.
³Place the solar lamp at a suitable location.
Note:
The charging process will only start if the functi-
on switch 1is in the ON position. It can take a
few days until the Solar Lamp has reached its
optimal performance efficiency.
After the battery is charged, the solar light turns
itself on automatically at dusk.
³To switch the solar lamp off, place the functi-
on switch 1, on the bottom of the collector
panel 4, into the OFF position.
Changing the battery
Replace the battery when the illumination time,
despite a day-long charge period, diminishes af-
ter 2 hours of darkness.
³Remove the collector panel 4together with
the reflector 5out of the housing 6.
Turn the reflector 5somewhat against the col-
lector panel 4, until it releases itself from the re-
straint.
³Remove the reflector 5from the collector pa-
nel 4.
³Open the battery compartment 3on the un-
derside of the collector panel 4.
³Remove the battery and replace it with a new
one of the same type. When inserting it, com-
ply with the polarities.
³Close the battery compartment 3and repla-
ce the reflector 5and the collector panel 4
back together.
³Replace the collector panel 4, together with
the reflector 5, back into the housing 6.
Cleaning
Clean the collector panel 4with a moist cloth.
Clean the housing 6of the solar light with a
soft brush.
Attention!
• Do not use aggressive or chemical cleaning
agents. These could cause damage to the
