Limited Warranty
LIVING ESSENTIALS’ products are warranted to be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of ONE YEAR:
One-year warranty from date of original purchase by consumer. If you believe your product is defective, please call, write, or e-mail our
customer service department.
Should your product be defective, LIVING ESSENTIALS will help in issuing replacement parts. Whether you call or write, please have your
model number and reference number located on the original packaging ready for our customer service team. You will be asked to tell us
what product you have, along with the date of purchase and the way you believe the product is defective. For any parts request, it must
include images of the defective part/s. Please do not ship your product back to us unless we specifically request you to do so. If it is
necessary for your product to be returned, all returns or exchanges must be made through the original store of purchase. Proof of purchase
must accompany the returned product. LIVING ESSENTIALS is not responsible for any store policies for returns or exchanges.
Note: This Warranty does NOT apply to any wear and tear. All replacement parts will be shipped standard ground service.
NO EXPEDITED Service available (for example; next day air, 2 day air service, 3 day air), there will NOT be any exceptions.
LIVING ESSENTIALS is not responsible for any consequential damages, which may arise out of the purchase, or use of any of our
product/s. LIVING ESSENTIALS is not responsible for any personal injury, or property/equipment damage from the use of such
product/s. LIVING ESSENTIALS’ liability for any breach of warranty shall be limited to replacement of the defective parts as
described above.

Our bunk beds were created with your child's safety as a top priority.
To ensure the safe use of our product, we ask that you observe the following safety warnings:
1. Follow the information on the warning label attached to the upper bunk end structure.
Do not remove this label.
2. Use only a mattress meeting the following specications on the upper bunk to help prevent
the likelihood of entrapment or falls.

Twin 74" - 75" 37 1/2" - 38 1/2" 5 – 6”
3. Ensure that the combined thickness of the mattress and board (foundation) does not exceed 6"
and that the surface of the mattress is at least 5" below the upper edge of the guardrails.
4. Do not allow children under 6 years of age to use the upper bunk.
5. Persons over 220 lbs. should use the lower bunk.
6. Periodically check bunk beds to ensure that the guardrails, ladder and other components are
in their proper position, free from damage, and that all connectors are tight.
7. Don not allow more than one person on upper bunk.
8. Do not allow jumping on the bed and do no allow horseplay on or under the bed(s).
9. Always use the ladder for entering and leaving the upper bunk.
10. Do not use substitute parts. Contact Customer Service for replacement parts.
11. Use of a night-light may provide an added safety precaution for a child using the upper bunk.
12. Always use guardrails on both long sides of the upper bunk.
13. The use of water or sleep otation mattresses is prohibited.
14. The bunk bed or high bed should not be used if any structural part is broken or missing.
15. Extra bunk bed assembly instructions and hardware are available from Customer Service.
16. Keep this instruction for future use/reference.
17. If the bunk bed will be placed next to a wall, the guardrail that runs the full length of the bed
should be placed against the wall to prevent entrapment between the bed and wall.
18. Warning: “Children can become trapped between the bed and the wall. To avoid risk of serious
injury the distance between the top safety barrier and the wall shall not exceed 2.95”(75 mm)
or shall be more than 9.05”(230mm).
19. STRANGULATION HAZARD - Never attach or hand items to any part of the bunk bed that are not
designed for use with the bed; for example, but not limited to, hooks, belts, jump ropes, strings,
cords, or ribbons, these items may catch around a child’s neck. Never Place bed near windows
where cords from blind or drapes may strangle a child.
