Power Adaptor for HP
Remove all packaging from the unit. Retain the packaging. If you
dispose of it please do so according to local regulations.
The following items are included:

Conrm the Brand, Voltage and
output wattages of your
notebook.
Make sure the voltage is between
18 VDC and 20 VDC, and output
watts are less then 90 W.
Check the Compatibility Table to
nd out which tip should be used
for the brand of your notebook.
Connect the tip to the adapter
DC cable connector.
Connect the DC cable with the
correct tip to the power
socket on your notebook.
Connect the AC cable to the
adapter rst, then connect it
to the mains power socket.
Using an incorrect tip for your notebook computer may damage
your computer or cause it to malfunction. Do not use excessive
force to insert the tip into your notebook computer!

persons who operate your Adapter read and follow this guide.
• Using your Adapter with non-approved accessories may result in serious
fatal injury and/or property damage.
• Never attempt to use your Adapter to power any devices that require
more than 90W of continuous power.
• Your Adapter is suitable for use only with notebook computers. Do not
use your Adapter with other electronic devices may result in serious
injury and/or property damage.
• For energy saving and safety, disconnect the input power to your
Adapter when it is not in use.
• Your Adapter may become hot during operation. Ensure you provide
ventilation and refrain from placing items on or around your Adapter
during operation. Maintain at least 5cm around the top and sides of
your Adapter. Never operate your Adapter inside a closed or conned
space such as a glove compartment, console or airline seat pocket.
• When operating your Adapter, regularly check that all connections are
rmly connected. Loose connections can generate harmful heat that can
damage your Adapter or attached notebook computer.
• Do not operate your Adapter near a heat source, heat vent, or in direct
sunlight. Your Adapter should be used in temperatures between 0-40˚C.

• Do not use this LNPHP12 adapter with your notebook if :
The power requirement is greater than 90W. (For example, the voltage
setting matches, but your notebook requires more amperage).
• Make sure that your notebook's input voltage is between 18VDC and
20VDC before use.
• Keep your Adapter dry. Direct contact with moisture may lead to
electrical shock, causing serious fatal injury and/or property damage.
Consult a qualied technician for a complete safety evaluation before
resuming use of your Adapter when it has come into direct contact with
moisture.
• Inspect your Adapter and cables for damage and wear before use. Do
not use or attempt to repair your Adapter and/or cables. Consult a
