DESCRIPTION
The “ROLL SHUTTER SW” cont ol unit is a device suitable fo moving elect ical shutte s, cu tains o ove head doo s
and it's pa t of devices fo home & building automation. It can be easily installed thanks to its educed dimensions and
simple wi ing equi ed. The unit is emotely gove ned by keyfobs, sma tphones o PC with common inte net b owse .
It has a high deg ee of digital secu ity and allows ope ational pa amete s set up with a sma tphone App in o de to
bette adapt the devive to the elect ic moto type and client specific needs. Fo this pu pose, the “LC Param Manager”
App has been c eated and can be downloaded f om “Google Play Store”. It's suitable only fo And oid sma tphones
equipped with the NFC ha dwa e.
INSTALLATION
Warning! Wor on electrical connection only after the supply voltage has been switched off.
The olling shutte cont ol unit enclosu e is suitable to be installed inside elect ical junction boxes, to be fixed on wall,
o mounted di ectly inside oll shutte casing.
To access the te minal blocks emove the 4 sc ews which hold the 2 o ange p otection cove s.
Terminal bloc s connection:
The 2 poles te minal block has to be connected to the powe supply (240V AC) following line and neut al symbols, the
3 poles block has to be connected to the moto ized valve (240V, max 200mA).
The cont ol device can be supplied with a voltage lowe then 240 VAC with a limit of 80VAC and f equency of
50/60Hz. If the supply voltage is lowe then 240AC, the moto voltage must be adequate to the supply and espect
cu ent limitation of 200mA.
Fig.1 depict the connection scheme p inted also on the sticke on top of the cont ol unit, whe e:
Supply: F= Line wi e, N= Neut al wi e,
Tubula moto : F1= Di ect otation phase wi e, F2= Inve se otation phase wi e, N= Moto neut al wi e
N.B. Befo e powe ing the moto , adjust its limit switches acco ding to the manufactu e manual to avoid damages.

PROGRAMMING
Setting up of switch pa amete s is done wi eless via Nea FielCommunication (NFC) technology. When asked by the
App, to communicate, the phone has to be placed on top of the Sma t enclosu e whe e the NFC symbol is.

KEYFOB
The pocket sized key-fob has two buttons and th ee colo s (g een/ ed/yellow) signaling led.
Befo e being used it must fi st be egiste ed to it's “slave” olling shutte cont ol unit.
Regist ation p ocedu e att ibute to the single button a code to cont ol the “slave device”.
The p ocedu e the efo e, has to be epeated fo eve y button which we want to elate with a cont ol unit.
Keyfob registration procedure
To egiste a new key-fob sta t the app e push the “Start NFC Connection”, then put in contact you phone antenna with
the top su face of the cont ol unit whe e the NFC symbol is. Afte a few moments device data will appea on the sc een
togethe with buttons to access the gene al settings menu. To p oceed, push the “Device Registration” button and again
put in contact you phone with the NFC symbol on the sticke , now the cont ol unit LED begin to blink yellow fo a few
seconds allowing egist ation of a new keyfob button which is achieved by pushing the button fo about 3 seconds.
Regist ation is confi med by the keyfob with a se ies of 4 g een blinks. If the keyfob was p eviously egiste ed to
anothe Sma t Sw, it's necessa y to e ase the p evious egist ation, befo e attempting a new egist ation.
N.B. If when pushing the button it immediately emits a single yellow blink, it means that the button was al eady
egiste ed and to be egiste ed again, the p evious egist ation need to be e ased.
To do that you need to push the button fo about 10 seconds, until the g een LED sta t to blink, elease the button and
push it again fo about 10 seconds, until the ed LED blinks b iefly.
Button is e ased if when pushing it a yellow blink appea s afte about 3 seconds.
Keyfob button cancellation
To e ase a button, push it fo about 10 seconds, until the g een LED sta t to blink, elease the button and push it again
fo about 10 seconds, until the ed LED blinks b iefly.
Button is e ased if when pushing it a yellow blink appea s afte about 3 seconds.
Keyfob cloning procedure
If a button has been egiste ed with pa amete “KEY COPY ENABLE”=1, it is possible to clone that button to anothe
key-fob by p essing the button fo about 10 s until the key-fob yellow led sta ts to blink, keeping the button p essed,
now p ess the button that need to become a clone until it's elative g een led blinks b iefly confi ming the occu ed
cloning.
The button so obtained cannot be used to do othe cloning. If pushed fo about 10 seconds, the cloned button gene ate a
yellow led blink instead of a g een blink.
If the o iginal button has been egiste ed with pa amete “KEY COPY ENABLE”=2, then also its clones can be
themselves cloned.

Keyfob commands
The shutte can be gove ned by two buttons, one to lift and one to lowe (with pa amete “COMMAND TYPE”=2) o
with just one button in “step” o “sequential ” mode (with pa amete “COMMAND TYPE”=1). Warning: change
“COMMAND TYPE”, imply the gene ation of a new digital secu ity key so the impossibility to command the switch
with p evious egiste ed keyfobs which would need a new egist ation.
In that case the App notify the ope ato with a wa ning of the consequent loss of communication with p evious keyfobs
and waits confi mation.
The e is no limit to the buttons associable with a cont ol unit, keyfobs buttons can also be egiste ed and command
diffe ent cont ol units. Eve y single button though can command one single device.
Battery replacement
Key-fob is powe ed by a CR2032 batte y type. Fo the eplacement the sc ews on the enclosu e have to be emoved.
Then open the shell enclosu e using a small flat blade sc ewd ive and emove the PCB contained inside the shell. Push
the batte y out of the batte y olde , and inse t a new one especting the batte y pola ity. Reposition the PCB in the half
shell which has 2 pins making su e the batte y side face down, close the shell and sc ew the 2 p eviously emoved
sc ews.
WiFi SERVER COMMANDS.
The device can be cont olled as well as the keyfobs also with an inte net b owse like Fi efox, Ch ome, Ope a.
Fo this pu pose it's available the “WiFi se ve b idge 433” whose detailed desc iption is given on ou site.
PASSWORD
It's possible to set a passwo d f om the App to block pa amete modification and new key-fobs egist ation. PW setting
can be done f om MENU->SET UP MENU->Change password.
Please Note If a new passwo d is to be activated leave empty the textfield “Cu ent Passwo d”, if instead the passwo d
is to be deactivated leave empty textfiels “New Passwo d” and “Re-type Passwo d”. If the passwo d is to be changed
fill all the textfields.
In case of lost passwo d it is possible to eset it by pushing the button “ PASSWORD CLEAR & SECURITY KEY REGEN”
which appea s on the App sc een unde the “DEVICES REGISTRATION” button. This eset button is no mally hided,
to show it, epeat 3 consecutive cycles of powe OFF and powe ON of the cont ol unit, within a 30 second time
window.
A passwo d eset imply also the cancellation of the add ess & secu ity key of the device, the efo e a new egist ation of
the associated senso s is equi ed. This p ocedu e can also be utilized to make all the p evious egiste ed keyfobs
useless.
DIGITAL SECURITY OF THE COMMUNICATION
The pa amete s “ADDRESS BYTES” & “SECURITY BYTES” a e dedicated to adapt the digital secu ity level.
The default values ensu e an adequate secu ity fo most applications, so thei modification is not necessa y.
