Innan installation
Planera installationen innan den på bö rjas. Det kanvara komplicerat att installera 12 Volts
applikationer i ett fordon, så det ä r dä rfö r extra viktigt att man gå r igenom hur allt skall kopplas
innan installationen på bö rjas.
Denna enhet ä r trå dlö s, precis som alla andra trå dlö sa enheter kan det uppstå
störningar av mobiltelefoner, Bluetooth headset, Wi-Fi routers, omvandlare m.m.
Denna enhet ö verä nstä mmer med del 15 enligt FCC reglerna. Anvä ndning skall ske enligt
fö ljande två villkor: (1) denna enhet skall inte orsaka stö rande stö rningar och den må ste
acceptera all stö rning den tar emot, ä ven om den skulle orsaka oö nskad anvä ndning.

INSTALLATION AV MONITOR
Nä r platsen fö r montering av monitorn skall bestä mmas, var noga med att ej montera den i
synfä ltet så att den kan stö ra din kö rning.
Vä lj plats och installera strö mkabeln
1. Placera monitorn på vald plats.
2. Koppla in strö mkabeln i monitorn samt i 12 Volts uttaget. Kontrollera så
att kabeln dras på ett så dant sä tt så att den ej stö r din bilkö rning.
Montera Monitor
A. Instrumentbrä de ställ
Innan montering av monitorn, rengö r instrumentbrä dan.
1. Montera stä llet på instrument brä dan så den passar ditt behov.
2. Sä tt fast den dubbel hä ftande foten.
3. Tryck foten mot instrumentbrä dan så att den sä tts på plats.
4. Tryck in monitorn i stä llets justerbara arm.
5. Justera armen så att monitorns vinkel passar dig.
6. Fö r att ta bort monitorn, tryck på knappen enligt bilden så slä pper armen monitorn.

B. Solskydd- och nackstö ds-montering
1. Anvä nd de 2 remmarna och spä nn fast dem på baksidan av monitorn.
2. Placera monitorn antingen på solskyddet eller på nackstö det.
3. Snurra remmarna runt solskyddet eller nackskyddet.
4. Spä nn remmarna fö r att stabilisera monitorn.
Notera: Under extremt ljus, kan det hä nda att skä rmen tar ett par extra sekunder på sig fö r att
stabilisera bilden. Var god vä nta tills bilden har stabiliserats innan du bö rjar backa.
STRÖMANSLSUTNING AV MONITOR
Anvä nd 12 Volt cigganslutning fö r att ansluta till bilens 12-Volt uttag.
Strömkabel med 12-V ciggadapter
1. Sä tt i DC-kontakten I den vä nster sedan av monitorn.
2. Sä tt i ciggadaptern I bilens cigguttag.
AV Kabel
Anvä nd den medföljande AV kabeln för att ansluta monitorn med externa audio/video
apparater.
1. Sä tt i 3.5mm kontakten I det lilla uttaget på hö ger sida om monitorn.
2. Sä tt in den vita kontakten i video uttaget och den gula kontakten i ljud uttaget på den externa
Audio/video apparaten.
3. Tryck på AV knappen fö r att byta till det externa Audio/Video lä get.

KAMERAINSTALLATION
Kameran kan monteras ovanfö r eller under registreringsskylten med skruv eller bult. Se
till så att kameran ej dö ljs av nå gon utstickande detalj på fordonet. Anvä nd medfö ljande
vinklar för att justera in rä tt vinkel på kameran.
1. Montera back-kameran på ett lä mpligt stä lle på fordonet, gä rna så centrerat som mö jligt, då
bilden blir mer korrekt.
Kabeln frå n back-kameran må ste dras in i bilen till backljuset på ett lä mpligt och snyggt sä tt.
Fö rsö k att dra kabeln så gö md som mö jligt då den annars lä tt kan fastna, typ vid biltvä tt.
3. Vissa bilar har en genomfö ring dä r registreringsskyltens belysning sitter, borra annars ett
hå l dä r kameran ä r monterad. Nä r vä l platsen för genomfö ringen skall gö ras, montera loss
back-kameran igen. Finns det en ö ppning hoppa ö ver fö ljande steg.
4. Om ett hå l må ste borras fö r kabelgenomfö ringen, vä lj då att gö ra hå let så nä r
back-kameran som mö jligt. Innan borrning på bö rjas må ste det undersö kas vad som finns
på baksidan av det kommande hå let.
5. Nä r hå let ä r gjort, sä tt i skyddshö ljet som medfö ljer, detta fö r att fö rhindra att bilens metall
skaver sö nder kabeln.
6. Montera sä ndarboxen på insidan av bagageluckan (sä ndarboxen ä r ej vattentä t). Anslut
kamerakabeln och strö mkabeln till sä ndarboxen.
7. Sö k nu rä tt på bilens backljus. Vrid om bilnyckeln ti ACC (starta ej motorn), drag å t
parkeringsbromsen och lä gg vä xeln i back-lä get. Se nu var backljuset ä r placerat,
kommer att lysa vitt.
8. Sö k nu rä tt på kablaget till backljuset samt vilket som ä r + och -, drag nu dit
back-kamerans strö mkabel dit, strö mkabeln må ste fastsä ttas på ett sä kert sä tt så att den
ej kan fastna i nå gra komponenter eller liknande då bagageluckan rö r sig upp och ner
hela tiden. Dra aldrig kabeln på utsidan av bilen.
9. De flesta bilar har 2 kablar kopplade till backljuset. Normalt sett ä r – kabeln svart och + ä r
den fä rgade kabeln, anvä nd en 12 Volts multimeter fö r att vara sä ker.

MONITOR–KNAPPAR
The monitor will automatically turn ON when the vehicle is in reverse gear. Also, there are 6
control buttons available for user controls.

BLÅ LED Strö mindikator
Nä r monitorn ä r på slagen kommer LED-lampan att lysa med ett blå tt sken, nä r monitorn ä r

Om dä r finns strö m till monitorn men skä rmen ä r svart kommer lampan att blinka på och av.
MENU, + och - knappar
Tryck på meny fö r att ö ppna upp menyn som visas hä r:
Tryck på meny igen fö r att vä lja ljusstyrka, kontrast och fä rg.
Tryck på +knappen eller –knappen fö r att stä lla in ljusstyrkan,
kontrasten eller fä rgen. Tryck på +knappen fö r att ö ka och –knappen
fö r att minska.
Fö r att flytta bilden tryck på meny knappen till dess att riktning ä r vald.
Tryck sedan på + eller – snabbt tills ö nskat bildlä ge ”vä nster till
hö ger”, ”hö ger till vä nster” eller ”upp och ner” är uppnå tt.

och fortfarande visa bilden korrekt på monitorn.
Bilden skall vara som bilden i din backspegel.
AV/CH Lä ge
Fö r att sä tta på och stä nga av automatiskt lä ge mellan AV/CH. Tryck på Meny knappen till dess
att BACK Up ä r valt. Tryck sedan + eller – snabbt, sä tt den sedan till AUTO eller MANUELLT
lä ge. Nä r den ä r instä lld på AUTO lä ge så kommer monitorn att vara i AUDIO/VIDEO lä ge nä r
backen inte ä r ilagd; det kommer att vara CH1 nä r backen ä r ilagd, tryck då på AV/CH knappen,
då kan du vä lja CH2. Nä r du har backat fä rdigt kommer skä rmen automatiskt att byta tillbaka till
AUDIO/VIDEO. Under Manuellt lä ge må ste fö raren sjä lv byta mellan AUDIO/VIDEO och CH1
och 2 .
Fö r att avsluta menyn, vä lj EXIT på skä rmen med meny knappen och tryck antingen + eller – för
att avsluta menyn.

TESTA SYSTEMET
1. Kontrollera så att minuskabeln till batteriet ä r ordentligt fastsatt.
2. Vrid bilnyckeln till ACC, starta ej motorn.
3. Drag å t parkeringsbromsen, lä gg vä xeln i back.
4. Nu kommer en bild att visas på monitorn. Stä mmer ej bilden med backspegeln, tryck då på
spegelvä ndnings-knappen.
Nä r testen ä r slutfö rd må ste allting å terstä llas och kabeldragningarna skall snyggas till fö r fast
installation.
Skruva tillbaka allting som plockats ner och spä nn skruvarna ordentligt.
Gö m alla kablar bakom paneler och mattor.

CONGRATULATIONS. The RVC7020 Wireless Back-up Camera and Monitor, when used as
described, will improve your ability to see behind your car, truck, RV, or mini-van. We have taken
numerous measures in quality control to ensure that your product arrives in top condition, and
will perform to your satisfaction.
Before You Install
Automotive video equipment installations can be difficult at times, even to the most
experienced of installation technicians. If you are not confident working with 12 volt DC
vehicle wiring, removing and reinstalling interior panels, carpeting, dashboards or other
components of your vehicle, contact the vehicle’s manufacturer, or consider having the
Wireless Back Up Camera and Monitor professionally installed.
This device, as well as all other wireless devices, may be subject to interference.
Interference may be caused by cell phones, Bluetooth headsets, Wi-FI routers,
power lines and other various electrical equipment, etc.
This device complies with Part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is subject to the following two
conditions: (1) this device may not cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept
any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

Installation
These instructions do not apply to all vehicles. They are only meant as a general guide
due to the number of different makes & models.
For vehicle specific questions contact your vehicle’s manufacturer.
MONITOR INSTALLATION
When choosing a location to mount the monitor, make sure the monitor is in an area that will not
obstruct your vision while driving.
Choose a Location and Install Power Cable
14.Temporarily place the monitor in the location that you have chosen
15.Route the power cable to the vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket/12V power outlet. The cable
must not interfere with the safe operation of the vehicle.
Monitor Location
A. Dashboard Stand
Before mounting the monitor, clean the dashboard surface well.
1. Position the stand to the dashboard surface which suits your requirement.
2. Stick the double-side tape foam at the bottom of the stand
3. Press the stand against the dashboard surface to fix the location.
4. Snap in the monitor to the stand mounting arm.
5. Adjust the mounting arms to suit your view angle to the monitor.
6. To remove the monitor from the stand mounting arm, press the arrow sign on the stand
mounting arm to release.

B. Visor and Headrest Mount
1. Use the supplied two belts to pass through the recesses at the back of the monitor unit.
2. Locate the monitor on the visor or headrest.
3. Pass the belts across the visor or headrest.
4. Tighten the belts to fix the location
NOTE: UNDER EXTREME BRIGHT LIGHT CONDITIONS, THE SCREEN IMAGE MAY TAKE A
FEW SECONDS TO STABLIZE. PLEASE WAIT UNTIL THE IMAGE HAS STABLIZED BEFORE
BACKING UP.
MONITOR POWER CONNECTION
Use the 12 Volt cigarette lighter adaptor plugged into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter
socket.
Power Cable with 12 Volt Cigarette Lighter Adaptor
1. Insert the small 12 Volt DC plug of the power cable into the right side of the monitor.
2. Plug the 12 Volt cigarette lighter adaptor into the vehicle’s cigarette lighter socket.
AV CABLE CONNECTION
Use the supplied AV Cable to connect between the monitor and external audio/video
devices..
1. Insert the small phone jack into the right side of the monitor.
2. Plug the white color jack to the video output and yellow color jack to the audio output on the
external audio/video device. Make sure your audio/video device is on.
3. Press the AV button to switch to the external audio/video mode.

CAMERA INSTALLATION
You can mount the camera using the top or bottom mounting bolts or screws of license
plate. Ensure the camera viewing is not obstructed. The supplied wedge shaped spacers
can adjust the camera mounting angle vertically.
1. Loosen the license plate bolts or screws and remove the rear license plate.
2. Insert each license plate bolt into a supplied wedge shaped spacer, through the bolt holes of
the camera, and through the remaining wedge shaped spacer and the license plate.
16.Align the holes on vehicle and temporarily tighten the license plate bolts/screws. The wedge
shaped spacers will make the camera facing downwards.
17.Choose a routing path for the camera’s power cable through the vehicle’s body to the reverse
light circuit. If in doubt, seek professional installation assistance.
18.Some vehicles may have a hole to pass the wire through. For example, the location of the
license plate light is mounted, or you can drill a hole close to the power cable that will attach
to the camera. Once you have determined where the cable will enter the vehicle’s trunk,
remove the camera. If you are able to use an existing opening or hole, skip the next two
steps.
19.If you are going to drill a hole, choose a location as close to the camera where the power
cable comes out. Before you drill a hole you MUST CHECK WHAT IS BEHIND THE
DRILLING LOCATION. If there are any vehicle components, like electrical parts or fuel
system components behind the drilling location, you must take precaution not to damage
them. Remove the license plate and camera before drilling.
20.After you have drilled a half inch (1/2”) hole, pass the camera wire connector through the hole
into the vehicle and place the grommet in the hole around the camera wire. You must use the
grommet to prevent the metal edge of the hole from cutting the camera cable.
21.Mount the transmitter box inside the trunk. Connect the camera cable and the power cable to
the transmitter box.
22.Find the vehicle’s reverse lights. Turn the vehicle’s ignition key to the accessory position,
engage the parking brake and put the car in reverse. Look at the vehicle’s tail lights to see
where the reverse white lights are located.
To locate the reverse light’s 12V+ wire, it is necessary to access to the rear part of the
vehicle’s tail light.
For help locating the vehicle’s reverse light circuit, contact your vehicle’s manufacturer for
vehicle specific wiring diagrams.

23.Once you have located the reverse light circuit, you need to route the power cable supplied to
that location. Fasten the power cable securely to prevent it from being caught on any vehicle
component like the trunk hinge. Never route the cable on the outside of the vehicle.
24.Locate reverse light socket and remove light bulb. There are two wires connected to the
reverse light sockets on most vehicles. Usually the negative wire is black and the positive
wire is a colored wire. If you are uncertain about the wiring, use a 12 volt multimeter
(available at most auto parts stores) to determine which wire is positive. Follow the
manufacturer’s instructions for the safe use of the multimeter.
25.After determining which wire is the positive and which is the negative, turn off the ignition key,
then remove the battery’s negative cable.
26.Splice the red wire using the supplied wire clamp to the reverse light’s positive (+) wire. Use a
set of slip joint pliers to squeeze the METAL BLADE and insure good connection of both
wires.

27.You may not need to use the wire clamp. The power cable can be wired directly to the reverse
light circuit by stripping the reverse light wires then twisting the camera wires to the exposed
reverse light wires. Once connected, wrap with electrical tape. Do not attempt this if you
are not knowledgeable with electrical installation practices. If in doubt, seek professional
installation assistance.
28.Next splice the black wire of the camera’s power cable to the reverse light’s negative (-) wire
or ground.
29.Replace the reverse light bulb and re-install the light socket. Secure all the wires with cable
ties or electrical tape. Reattach the negative battery cable to the battery afterwards.

MONITOR CONTROLS
The monitor will automatically turn ON when the vehicle is in reverse gear. Also, there are 6
control buttons available for user controls.
Power On/Off Button - BLUE LED Power Indicator
Press POWER ON/OFF button to supply power to monitor. When monitor image is ON, the blue
LED will be lit. If there is power to the monitor but the monitor image is off, the blue LED will blink
on and off. When the monitor power is OFF, no picture can appear on the screen and the blue
LED will be off.
When power supplied is on, the monitor will automatically turn ON and an image will appear
when the vehicle is in reverse gear. There are 6 menu settings available for the user to control
the screen image.
MENU, + and - Buttons
Press MENU button to enter the menu screen as shown below:
Repeat pressing MENU button to select BRIGHTNESS,
CONTRAST or COLOR controls.
Press +button or –button to adjust settings within the control
selected. Press the +button to increase the value and the –
buttonto decrease the value.
To change the orientation of the screen image, press MENU
button until DIRECTION is selected. Then press + or –
repeatedly until desired screen orientation
“left to right”, “right to left” or “upside down”
is achieved. The different views allow
you to mount the camera and / or monitor
either right side up or upside down and still display the image correctly on the monitor. The
image displayed should match your rear view mirror.

AV/CH Mode
To enable or disable the automatically switching from AV/CH input to Back Up Camera view,
press MENU button until BACK UP is selected. Then press + or – repeatedly, then turn it to
AUTO or MANUAL mode. When it is under AUTO mode, it will be Audio/Video Input view when
the vehicle is not in reverse gear; It will be CH1 when the vehicle is in reverse gear, then press
AV/CH key, you can choose CH2.When the reverse is over, the screen will automatically switch
to Audio/Video. While under MANUAL mode, user has to press the AV/CH key to manually
switch to Audio/Video or CH1 or CH2 repeatedly.
To exit the menu screen, select EXIT on the screen using the MENU button and press either +
or – to exit the menu screen.
Guideline ON/OFF
Press GUIDELINE ON/OFF button to switch ON or OFF the on-screen-display guideline.

TESTING THE SYSTEM
6. Reattach the vehicle’s negative battery cable.
7. Turn the ignition key to the accessory position, do not start the vehicle.
8. Engage the parking brake, put the shifter in the reverse position.
9. Look at the monitor, if the image does not match your rear view mirror press the Menu button
and Direction setting on the monitor to correct the image.
After testing the unit and you are satisfied with the route you have chosen for the cabling, you
must permanently install it.
Fully tighten the license plate bolts.
Route all wires behind interior panels or under carpeting so they are hidden.
Use supplied cable ties to neatly gather any excess wire.
