LUVOX Pan l Mounting
LUVOX d vic s ar d sign d as pan l mount d vic s. This m ans
th d vic is ins rt d into th d dicat d cutout from th front
sid of th nclosur and subs qu ntly s cur d from th
backsid .
Th r ar basically 2 mann rs to carry out th backsid s curing.
•S curing with Front Mount Brack ts
•S curing with Sid Skirt Bolts
S curing with Front Mount Brack ts
W advic this way of s curing wh n th nclosur ’s mat rial is
rath r thick, board ar woodlik . Ins rt your d vic into th
d dicat d cutout, attach both Front Mount Brack ts to th l ft
and right sid of th d vic and start tight ning up th
construction with th includ d M4x30 mm scr ws.

Saw or mill th r ctangular cutout as advis d in this tabl b low:
•LUVOX F100 272 mm x 218 mm
•LUVOX F120 302 mm x 242 mm
•LUVOX F150 362 mm x 282 mm
•LUVOX F170 392 mm x 330 mm
•LUVOX F190 440 mm x 372 mm
NOTE: Maximum thickn ss of nclosur ’s mat rial is 19 mm
wh n s curing with Front Mount Brack ts.
S curing with Sid Skirt Bolts
W advic this way of s curing wh n th nclosur ’s mat rial is
sh t m tal or any oth r mat rial with a thickn ss b tw n 1 and
3 mm. Us th fr M3 hol s in th sid skirts of your LUVOX
d vic to s cur th d vic .
This way of mounting is possibl for any mat rial thickn ss but
th standard M3x6 scr ws will app ar to short. Pl as , b car ful
wh n s l cting long r scr ws to install th d vic in mat rials
thick r th n 3 mm. Th hol s in th sid skirts ar 5 mm in
d pth. Mak sur you do not us scr ws that xc d this
ins rtion b caus this will indicat as p rman nt bumps in th
front of th d vic .
CAD drawings for ach cutout ar availabl on r qu st.
W can also assist custom rs with th cr ation of p rf ct
ap rtur s in (stainl ss) st l parts (and oth r mat rials) lik
doors and nclosur s. This is don with CNC cutting d vic s as
las r- and wat r j t.

Europ an prot ction classification conform DIN EN 60529 is
off r d by th l tt rs IP (Ingr ss Prot ction) and two digits. Th
first digit indicat s prot ction for p rsons and quipm nt. Th
s cond digit indicat s prot ction against wat r. For IP65* this can
b int rpr t d as:
•FIRST DIGIT 6
Prot ction for p rsons = prot ction against touching
dang rous parts. A body (t stprob ) of 1.0 mm in diam t r
must not b abl to nt r or th distanc b tw n th
acc ssing prob and dang rous parts is always k pt.
Prot ction for quipm nt = prot ction against dust. 6
indicat s dust must not nt r at all. Th t st is carri d out in a
chamb r in which talcum powd r is b ing k pt susp nd d in
th air. Th t st d nclosur is k pt b low th atmosph ric
pr ssur of th nvironm nt according to th standard. Th
prot ction is satisfactory if th r is no visibl dust d posit
within th nclosur aft r compl tion of th t st.
•SECOND DIGIT 5
Prot ction from moistur = Prot ction against wat r j ts
dir ct d at th nclosur from any dir ction. A diam t r
6.3mm j t nozzl splash s 37.5L in 3 minut s from a distanc
of 2.5 to 3M from all sid s. Should wat r hav p n trat d, it
must not b pr s nt in quantiti s which impair th good
working ord r of th op rating mat rial or r pr s nt a saf ty
hazard, d posit on non-conducting parts wh r it could l ad
to cr p curr nts, com in contact with liv parts or coils
which ar unsuitabl for op rating in w t conditions, coll ct
