LVM Hobbico Pro Series User manual

Thank you for purchasing the Hobbico Pro Series Lithium VoltMeter. This
device measures and displays individual cell voltages and overall pack voltage
of 2– 6S Lithium Polymer, Lithium Iron Phosphate and Lithium Ion batteries on
an LED display. The LVM is very easy to operate. Simply plug in the battery! The
LVM is small enough to fit anywhere and has a loop allowing it to be attached
to a wrist strap, neck strap and/or key chain. Includes a 6S in-line adapter for
FlightPower®and Thunder Power batteries.

CONNECTIONS
NOTE: The corresponding cell numbers
are marked on the meter case.The black
wire on the balance lead will always plug
into the (–) pin on the LVM. If the battery
is not connected properly, the LVM will
not display any information.
1. For ElectriFly style balance connectors: Simply plug the balance lead from
the battery directly to the LVM. The black wire on the balance lead should be
connected to the (–) pin on the LVM.

2. For FlightPower/Thunder Power batteries: The included adapter will need
to be installed prior to measuring the battery voltage. First connect the adapter
to the LVM. Then connect the balance lead from the battery to the LVM.
OPERATING
1. Once the proper connections have been made, the LVM will briefly read
“dsp” (display). Then the LVM will begin to read the individual cell voltages of
the connected battery. This will be displayed by “No. 1” for cell one, “No. 2” for
cell 2, etc.
2. After all individual cell voltages have been displayed, the overall pack voltage
will be shown.This will be displayed by “all” followed by the measured pack voltage.

Hobbico warrants this product to be free from defects in materials and workmanship
for a period of two (2) years from the date of purchase. During that period,
Hobbico will, at its option, repair or replace without service charge any product
deemed defective due to those causes.You will be required to provide proof of
purchase (invoice or receipt). This warranty does not cover damage caused by
abuse, misuse, alteration or accident. If there is damage stemming from these
causes within the stated warranty period, Hobbico will, at its option, repair or
replace it for a service charge not greater than 50% of its then current retail list
price. Be sure to include your daytime telephone number in case we need to
contact you about your repair. This warranty gives you specific rights.You may
also have other rights, which vary from state to state.
