Creamy Fuzz Guitar — A custom Stratocaster Guitar run through a Fulltone Soul Bender fuzz pedal and into a Mesa Boogie DC-5 amp.
It’s reminiscent of the British fuzz guitar sound made famous in the late ‘60’s, though it takes advantage of the Soul Bender’s internal
contour control to produce a silkier, creamier tone than was possible at that time.
Keyboard Layout
Each key on a piano keyboard has a name and octave delineation. For example, middle C is C4. One octave above middle C is C5, etc.
(See diagram above.) This is useful in determining how our instruments are laid across a MIDI keyboard.
Note: Middle C is C4, which is the standard for most MIDI keyboards, although on some applications or keyboards refer to middle C as
C3 (Yamaha) or C5.
Mute and Pick Tones
All programs are laid out from E2-E6 (except for the Slides & FX program, which is laid out from C2-C6). Programs range from 1 to
4 layers. The samples switch via velocity, typically starting with a mute, then a tone, followed by one or two more articulations. The
Program names indicate what is included. To familiarize yourself with the programs, we recommend playing through them at multiple
velocities.
Diatonic Chords
Diatonic chords are laid out diatonically across the keyboard. This allows you to select the diatonic instrument that matches the musical
key that your song is in. For example, if your song is in the key of C, try selecting the “C Diatonic Chord” instrument. There is a program
for each root key, with the chords laid out in the following manner: Major, Major, minor, Major, minor, Major, minor, Major, Major, minor,
Major, minor.
For example, for C diatonic, you will have:
C Major, C# Major, D minor, D# Major, E minor, F Major, F# minor, G Major, G# Major, A minor, A# Major, B minor.
For D diatonic, you will have:
D Major, D# Major, E minor, F Major, F# minor, G Major, G# minor, A Major, A# Major, B minor, C Major, C# minor etc.
Downstrokes are laid out starting from C3-B3. Upstrokes start from C4-B4. The root note moves up the keyboard as you move through
the different programs, with the B diatonic program going from B3-A#4 and B4-A#5, the C diatonic program going from C3-B3 and C4-
B4, and so on. Also included are various stopped chords, from C6-G6 (white notes only). Hint: Try playing both the down and up chords
at the same time for a fuller sound.

Major and Minor Chord Layouts
Some guitars only have Major and Minor chords. Downstrokes go from E2-D#3 and upstrokes from E3-D#4. These programs also
include the same stopped chords from C6-G6, white notes only.
Major and Major Sus Chord Layouts
The Major and Major Sus chords have Major downstrokes from E2-D#3, Major upstrokes from E3-D#4, Major Sus downstrokes from
E4-D#5, and Major Sus upstrokes from E5-D#6. The stopped chords range from E6-C7, white notes only.
Dominant 7th Chords and Dominant 9th Chords
The Dom7 and Dom9 chords are laid out from E3-D#4. Also included are the same stopped chords from C6-G6 and the FX program
that are found in the diatonic file.
Power Chords
The Power chords are laid out from A2-G#3. Also included are the same stopped chords from C6-G6 and the FX programs that are
found in the diatonic file.
FX Program Layout
The FX program has a variety of different scrapes, slides, squeals, and more—all laid out chromatically across the keyboard.

Sonic Network, Inc. End-User License Agreement (EULA)
1) License Grant. Sonic Network, Inc. grants to you, subject to the following terms and conditions, a non-exclusive, nontransferable
right to use each authorized copy of the enclosed Sonic Implants® samples (the “Work”). The Work is the property of Sonic Network,
Inc. and is licensed to you only for use as part of a musical performance, live, broadcasted or recorded. You may not resell or otherwise
distribute the Work or any derivative work thereof, either as it exists on disc, reformatted for use in another digital sampler, or mixed,
combined, filtered, resynthesized, or otherwise edited, for use as sounds, multisounds, samples, multisamples, wavetables, programs
or patches in a game product, sampler, microchip or any sample playback device. You may not modify, adapt, translate, reverse
engineer, decompile, disassemble, or create derivative Works based on the Work or the written materials. 2) Transfer Restrictions. You
may physically transfer the Sonic Implants Work on this CD, comprised of software programs, documentation and musical instrument
sound recordings, sometimes referred to as sound “samples” of musical instruments and voicing or instrument data associated with the
sound recordings (the “Work”) from one computer to another, provided that the Work is used on only one computer at a time. You may
not electronically transfer the Work over any network or distribute copies of the Work (including written material) to others. This Work may
