Risk of accidental drowning. Extreme caution must be exercised to
prevent unauthorized access by children. To avoid accidents, ensure
that children can not use this spa unless they are supervised at all
times.
Risk of injury.
a) Replace damaged cord immediately.
b) Do not bury cord.
c) Connect to a grounded, grounding type receptacle only.
Risk of Injury. The suction fittings in this spa are sized to match the
specific water flow created by the pump. Should the need arise to
replace the suction fittings or the pump, be sure that the flow rates
are compatible. Never operate spa if the suction fittings are broken or
missing. Never replace a suction fitting with one rated less than the
flow rate marked on the original suction fitting.
Risk of Electric Shock. Install at least 5 feet (1.5 m) from all metal
surfaces. As an alternative, a spa may be installed within 5 feet
of metal surfaces if each metal surface is permanently
connected by a minimum 6 AWG solid copper conductor to the
wire connector on the terminal box that is provided for this
purpose.
Risk of Electric Shock. Do not permit any high voltage electric
appliance, such as a light, telephone, radio, or television, within
5 feet (1.5 m) of a spa.
For your own safety and that of your product, make sure to follow the safety
precautions below. Fail to follow the instruction may result in serious injury,
property damage or death. Improper installation or operation will void the warranty.

The spa only for use in single-family dwellings.
Risk of electric shock. Insert the plug only to a properly grounded
socket.
The spa must be supplied by an isolating transformer or supplied
through a ground-fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) having a rated
residual operating current not exceeding 30mA.
GFCI must be tested before each use.
If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced immediately by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified person in order to
avoid a hazard.
To reduce the risk of electric shock, do not use extension cord to
connect unit to electric supply; provide a properly located receptacle.
No part of the appliance is to be located above the bath during use.
Parts containing live parts, except parts supplied with safety extra-low
voltage not exceeding 12V, must be inaccessible to a person in spa
pool; Earthed appliance must be connected to the fixed receptacle
which is permanently connected to fixed wiring. Parts incorporating
electrical components, except remote control devices, must be
located or fixed so that they cannot fall into the spa pool.
The plug of spa shall be more than 3.5m away from the pool.
Spray head must not be used.
The outlet of Spa must not be connected to any tap or fitting other
than those specified.
Electric installations should fulfill the requirements of local standards.
To avoid the electric shock, do not use the spa when it is
raining.
To reduce the risk of injury, do not permit children to use this product
unless they are closely supervised at all times.
Water attracts children. Always have the Spa locked with its cover
after each use.
Do not bury cord. Locate cord to minimize abuse from lawn mowers,
hedge trimmers, and other equipment.

Do not overexert press down or uplift the control panel device. Do not
put any heavy on control panel device after installation.
Pets should be kept away from spa to avoid damage.
When the bubble function is going to be in function, make sure the
cover of Spa must be opened first.
Do not switch on if there is any possibility that the water in the spa is
frozen.
Use only approved accessories. Use of non-approved accessories
could void the warranty.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. A wire connector is provided on this
unit to connect a minimum 6 AWG solid copper conductor between
this unit and any metal equipment, metal enclosures of electrical
equipment, metal water pipe, or conduit within 5 feet (1.5 m) of the
unit.
RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK. Never operate any electrical appliance
when in your spa or when your body is wet. Never place any electric
appliance, such as a light, telephone, radio, or television, within 1.5m
of spa. During pregnancy, soaking in hot water may cause damage to
the fetus. Limit use to 10 minutes at a time.
Do not expose spa under direct sunshine.
This product is provided with a ground-fault circuit-interrupter in
the plug. The GFCI must be tested before each use. With the
product operating, open the service door. When the product
stops operating, this merely indicates that the door is equipped
with an electrical interlock. Next, push the test button on the
GFCI and close the service door. The product should not
operate. Now open the service door, push the reset button on
the GFCI and close the service door. The product should now
operate normally. When the product fails to operate in this
manner, there is a ground current flowing indicating the
possibility of an electric shock. Disconnect the power until the
fault has been identified and corrected.
TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY:
A. The water in a spa should never exceed 104°F (40°C). Water
temperature between 100°F (38°C) and 104°F (40°C) are

considered safe for a healthy adult. Lower water temperature is
recommended for young children and when spa use exceeds 10
minutes.
B. Since excessive water temperatures have a high potential for
causing fetal damage during the early months of pregnancy,
pregnant or possibly pregnant women should limit spa water
temperature to 100°F (38°C).
C. Before entering a spa, the user should measure the water
temperature with an accurate thermometer since the tolerance of
water temperature regulating devices varies.
D. The use of alcohol, drugs, or medication before or during spa use
may lead to unconsciousness with the possibility of drowning.
E. Obese person and person with a history of heart disease, low or
high blood pressure, circulatory system problems, or diabetes
should consult a physician before use a spa.
F. Person using medication should consult a physician before using
a spa since some medication may induce drowsiness while other
medication may affect heart rate, blood pressure, and circulation.
A green coloured terminal or a terminal marked G, GR, Ground, Grounding,
or the symbol* is located inside the electric box. To reduce the risk of
electric shock, this terminal must be connected to the grounding means
provided in the electric supply service panel with a continuous copper wire
equivalent in size to the circuit conductors supplying this equipment.
* IEC Publication 417, Symbol 5019.
At least two lugs marked "BONDING LUGS" are provided on the external
surface or on inside the electric box. To reduce the risk of electric shock,
connect the local common bonding grid in the area of the hot tub or spa to
these terminals with an insulated or bare copper conductor not smaller than
No. 6 AWG.
All field—installed metal components such as rails, ladders, drains or other
similar hardware within 3 m of the spa or hot tub shall be bonded to the
equipment grounding bus with copper conductors not smaller than No. 6
AWG.

TO REDUCE THE RISK OF INJURY: Never pour water which higher
than 104°F (40°C) into the spa pool directly.
The use of alcohol, drugs, or medication can greatly increase the risk
of fatal hyperthermia.
Hyperthermia occurs when the internal temperature of the body
reaches a level several degrees above the normal body temperature
of 98.6°F (37°C). The symptoms of hyperthermia include an increase
in the internal temperature of the body, dizziness, lethargy,
drowsi-ness, and fainting, The effects of hyperthermia include failure
to perceive heat; failure to recognize the need to exit spa;
unawareness of impending hazard; fetal damage in pregnant women;
physical inability to exit the spa; and unconsciousness resulting in the
danger of drowning.
Warning Label Instruction
Please carefully read the warning label at the first time you are going
to use MSpa.
Please post this warning label on where is at a distance to MSpa
within 1.5m/5’, people in spa can see it clearly.
Please retain this information for future reference.
If the warning label is damaged or missing, please contact your
country MSpa service center to get a new one.

The spa should not be setup or left out in temperature lower than
39°F (4°C).
Do not use the spa alone.
People with infectious diseases should not use a spa.
Do not use the spa immediately following strenuous exercise.
Always enter and exit the spa slowly and cautiously. Wet surfaces are
slippery.
To avoid damage to the pump, the spa must never be operated
unless the spa is filled with water.
Immediately leave spa if uncomfortable or sleepy.
Never add water to chemicals. Always add chemicals to water to
avoid strong fumes or violent reactions that may result in hazardous
chemical spray.
Place only on surface that can withstand the floor loading
requirement of your Spa.
NOTE: Please examine equipment before use. Notify after service
center listed on this manual for any damaged or missing parts at the
time of purchase. Verify that the equipment components represent
the models that you had intended to purchase.

FIRST USE PREPARATION AND SET-UP
● The spa can be installed indoor and outdoor. For household use only.
● The spa must be set up on a flat, smooth and supporting surface that is capable of supporting the maximum
load of the filled spa with listed maximum occupants.
● Make sure the area is free of sharp objects under or around the spa. Uneven of unsound surfaces can
damage the spa and void your warranty. Level the surface before filling spa with water
● Provide adequate drainage system around the spa to deal with overflow water and splashes.
● Provide a properly located power outlet to connect the spa and allow easy access for period testing of the
cord mounted GFCI.
● Make sure there is enough clearance around the spa for full access to the spa equipment for maintenance
and/or service.
Site preparation and requirements
● Verify the supporting floor can support the filled weight of spa with maximum number of occupants. Check
with a qualified contractor or structural engineer to verify the requirement.
Additional requirements for indoor installation

● Make sure to set up the spa on a firm, level and smooth surface that is strong enough to support the full
weight of the filled spa and maximum occupants.
● Do not set up the spa on grass or dirt, as this increases the amount of debris entering the spa, and damage
the spa floor.
● Do not leave the spa tub exposed to direct sun light for extend period of time.
● It is recommended to install and leave the spa outside at a temperature not lower than 4°C (39°F) to ensure
the water inside the circulation system, pump, pipe are not frozen. Put a Heat Preservation Mat between the
spa bottom and the ground to prevent heat loss from the bottom of the spa and to provide better heat
retention.
● Make sure the floor is water resistant and provides non-slip surface. Do not install the spa on a carpet of any
other material that could damaged by the moisture.
● Humidity is a naturally side effect of indoor spa installation. The room shall be properly ventilated to allow
moisture to escape. Install a ventilating system to prevent excess condensation moisture in the room.
Additional requirements for outdoor installation
GFCI Testing
Risk of electric shock: This product is provided with a GFCI located at the end of the power cord. The
GFCI plug must be tested before each use. Do not use the spa if the GFCI plug does not function properly.
Disconnect the power cord until the fault has been identified and corrected. Contact a licensed electrician
to correct the fault. There are no serviceable parts in side the GFCI plug. Opening the GFCI plug will void
the warranty.

1. Plug the machine into the mains.
2. The GFCI plug might automatically reseted. If the RESET indicator is not red, press the RESET button.
3. Press the TEST button on the GFCI. The GFCI indicator should shut off. If the GFCI indicator does not turn
off, the GFCI is faulty. Do not use the spa. Contact a qualified electrician to correct the fault.
4. Press the RESET button on the GFCI again. The indicator should turn red. If yes, the spa is ready for use.

SPA SET-UP
Move the entire package to the selected site. Open the carton carefully as it can be used to store the spa
during long term storage or when not in use.
Lay out all the parts on the ground and make sure all parts are accounted for. Make sure the spa tub is
right side up. (*For missing or damaged part, contact the MSpa Service Center)
Spread the Heat Preservation Ground Mat over a cleared area. Spread out the spa liner over the ground
mat. The heat Preservation Mat prevents heat loss from the bottom of the unit.

Spa Inflation
4.1 Plug the spa into the grounded supply socket.
4.2 Press the RESET button on the GFCI, the screen on controller shows numbers.
4.3 Turn the inflation knob to the inflation status <ON> and long press (≥2 minutes) the bubble button on
the controller to start inflating until the yellow section of the manometer is pushed out.
4.4 Stop pressing the bubble button and turn the knob back to <OFF> .

Note:
Before inflation , check whether the manometer cap is
screwed up tight on the valve of pool body. If not, please
tighten and then inflate. After inflation, the manometer
cannot be removed, otherwise the air will be released.

Spa Bladder Inflation.
5.1 Open the air valve (a) on the bladder. Insert the inflation
hose (b) into the valve. Open the air valve (C) on the spa
pool. Make sure you choose the correct one in black color.
5.2 Press the Bubble button to inflate until the bladder
is firm to touch but not hard.
5.3 Press Bubble button for more than 3 seconds to
turn off the function. Disconnect the inflation hose from the
air blower outlet and the valve.
5.4 Replace the air valve cap (c) back. Close and recess the
inflation valve (a).

When the Yellow section is pushed out, the Spa inflation is completed. You can fill the Spa with water.
After water filling is completed, check the air pressure once again to ensure the manometer reaches its
Green section. Always ensure the manometer is in the Green section during use.
If the White section of the manometer appears, the spa is over inflated. Rotate the valve cap counter
clockwise, have the air released till the Green section is pushed out, then tighten it clockwise.
To avoid over inflation caused by warm weather or sunshine when leaving spa for weeks inflated and
filled with water in temperature higher than 68°F (20°C), please release some air to make sure the
manometer is always on in the Yellow section.

Spa Deflation
1. Unscrew the air valve cap on the spa pool to deflate the spa.
2. Once the deflation is completed, place the cap back.
Spa Bladder Deflation
1. Pull the valve cap out and squeeze the valve at its base until deflated.
2. Close and recess the valve back.

● Water level must not exceed the Maximum line to avoid pump failure.
● Never pour water with a temperature higher than 104°F (40°C) into the spa directly.
6.3 After water filling, double check the spa pool air pressure to make sure the manometer points out the
Green section.
6.4 Place the inflated air bladder and the zipper spa cover over the spa tub. Make sure the spa cover is
zipped and locked by the digital lock in the accessory pack.
IMPORTANT:
● Inspect the spa pressure regularly for leak, premature wear, or deterioration.
● Check and wax the zipper regularly, to make it smooth for operation and to avoid splits.

6.5 Turn on the Heater on the spa wired controller, refer to the “Wired Controller Operation” section.
Maximum heating temperature is 104°F (40°C). Hourly heating rate is about 2.5°F-3.5°F
(1.5°C-2°C).
Zipper Operation
7.1 Digital Lock Operation
The default password is “000”. Follow the steps below to change the password:
● Push the button (a) in the direction of Fig.7.1.(1) to unlock the digital lock.
● Set your preferred password in 3 digits by turning the number wheel (b), see Fig.7.1.(2).
● Insert back the cable (c). The new password is set.

Water Filling
6.1 Check the spa mark is at the selected area and point
the drain valve toward a suitable draining area
before inflation.
6.2 Fill the spa tub with fresh water below Maximum line
marked on the inside of the spa wall. Do not over fill
the spa. It is recommended to fill the spa with
lukewarm water for quick heating and energy saving.

8. JET Button Operation
8.1 Adjust the jet nozzles (a) in the proper direction for your needs.
8.2 Turn the jet control knob (b) clockwise or anticlockwise to change the water stream power. The
maximum power combo is air and hydro-jet together. The minimum power is hydro-jet on only. There
are two (2) jet control knobs for E-RE049 / E-BA049.

WIRED CONTROLLER OPERATION
Heater Button: Press HEATER button to start or stop heating.
The filter will automatically be running for 15 seconds to test the working condition once the HEATER
function is started. If there is no abnormality, the heater will keep working until the water temperature
reaches the set value. When the water temp goes below the set temp, the heater will restart to heat
the water automatically. The HEATER button displaying red means that the heating system is
activated. The HEATER button displaying green means that the system is at rest and keeping the
water at the set temp.
Filter Button: Press FILTER button to turn the function on/off. The light of FILTER button displays
green when activated.
NOTE: Filtration cannot be turned off when Heating is activated. When the Heating function is turned
off, filtration will be stopped after 30 seconds. Filtration function can then be activated separately.
NOTE: The auto-filtration system is automatically activated every 4 hours.
Bubble Button: Can adjust among 3 levels of bubbling power. The default bubbling massage
power is at level 2 (450W). Press the BUBBLE button again, switching to level 3 (700W). Press again
to enable level 1 (300W). To shut down the function, press the BUBBLE button for 3 seconds.
NOTE: The bubbling massage function will be shut down automatically after every 20 minutes

Temperature display: Insert the plug into the socket, the current temperature is displayed on the screen.
Jet Button: To activate the water jet massage function.
NOTE: The Bubble button can only be adjusted between L1 (300W) and L2 (450W) while the Jet
function is on. JET function will shut down automatically after one-hour continuous operation.

operation for safety concern. It cannot be operated within 10 minutes after shutting down.
Attention: The bubble function can only be activated when the inflation knob is in <OFF> position.
Adjustment Buttons: Press UP or DOWN button, the screen flashes setting temperature. Re-set
the temperature within 3 seconds. Otherwise the temperature setting mode will end automatically. If
the other button is pressed during the setting , the setting will also stop. The current temperature
shown on the screen is confirmed.
NOTE: The default temperature is 100°F (38°C).
NOTE: Temperature adjustment ranges from 68°F (20°C) to 104°F (40°C).
Controller Locking: Press UP and DOWN button at the same time for 3 seconds, the buzzer will ring
3 times, meaning that the controller is locked. In this mode, the function will not be turned on if the
button is pressed. Press UP and DOWN button at the same time again for 3 seconds to unlock the
controller.
Timer Button: Press the TIMER button to enter the intelligent pre-setting mode. By press UP and
DOWN button, you can set and start heating automatically within up to 99 hours. The TIMER setting
is confirmed if no further operation in more than 3 seconds or press TIMER button again. The heater
will start working after current setting hours. The setting hour can also be changed by entering the
pre-setting mode again. The light of TIMER button flashes green when activated.
Cancel: Press the TIMER button for 3 seconds to cancel the pre-setting.
NOTE: The pre-setting function cannot be turned on during heating process. The pre-setting mode
will also end once the heating function is on or after the spa is reboot.
Celsius/Fahrenheit Toggle Button: The temperature can be displayed in either Celsius or
Fahrenheit.
Ozonator Button: Activate the Ozone. The Ozone icon shows green when the Ozone function is
activated. For bathers' safety concern, the ozonator cannot be operated at the same time when the
Bubbling or Jet function is on. The Ozonator will be off automatically after operating for 2 hours. The
ozone output is 10-30mg/Hr.The filter will be activated automatically when ozonator is running. It
cannot be shut down during this period.
NOTE: Please do not soak in the spa when the Ozone is on. The Ozonator will not work when the
spa has no water or when the Bubble Button is on.

Filter Cartridge Cleaning Reminder: When the red light keeps flashing (Filter function is
OFF) or red and green lights are alternately flashing(Filter function is ON), the filter cartridge
shall be cleaned or replaced. After that, press Filter button for 3 seconds to clear the
reminder.
IMPORTANT: The following conditions will lead to slow water heating
● The ambient temperature is lower than 10°C(50°F)
● Outdoor wind speed is above 3.5-5.4m/s(8-12mph)
● The air bubble function is activated when heater is on
● The spa is not properly covered with the spa cover when the heater is on

Water Sanitation
The spa owner must regularly check and keep the spa water sanitized with scheduled maintenance (daily, if
necessary). Adding sanitizer or other chemical will control bacteria and viruses reproduction in the spa water.
The maintenance of a proper water balance through appropriate use of sanitizers is the most important factor in
maximizing the life and appearance of the spa as well as ensuring clean, healthy and safe water.
Proper technique is important for water testing and treating the spa water. See your spa professional for
chemical, sanitizer, test kit and testing procedures questions.
