Main Plug of the adapter acts as disconnect
device, the socket-outlet shall be installed near
the equipment and shall be easily accessible.
Warning: The Adapter must IEC/EN/UL 62368-1
certified with output 5 VDC 3A, or provided by MTI;
other specification may cause damage.

Install the power supply and power up the Hub. Secure the power supply by wrapping the rubber ap around the connector
and attaching into the opening on top of the Hub.
NOTE: This device requires professional installation to prevent tampering with or removal/replacement of the antenna
by anyone other than qualified service professionals.
OR
If using with MTI Connect application software, Connect the Hub to the internet with an available Ethernet cable or setup
with WIFI credentials. If not using with MTI Connect, move on to Freedom Micro Pairing.

NETWORK PAIRING - INTELLIKEY
Ensure the Hub and all Freedom
Micro positions are powered up.
Once powered, the staus light will
illuminate (see page 3 for LED
Status Indicators).
Remove the IntelliKey (blue LED
will stay ashing on Hub for up to
15 minutes).
After connecting to the network,
the LED on the puck will double
white ash every 5 seconds, the
IntelliKey’s LED will still remain
red.
Plug Connect IntelliKey into
the USB port on the top of the
Hub. When the IntelliKey LED
lights green, it has been added
to the system whitelist. Remove
and repeat for all other Connect
IntelliKeys.
Take any of the Connect
IntelliKeys to each position that
has a ashing yellow LED and
plug in the IntelliKey for 10
seconds (the IntelliKey LED will
light up red).
Remove and re-insert the
IntelliKey; the IntelliKey’s LED
should light green, indicating
the IntelliKey will now control the
puck.
Plug in any Connect IntelliKey in
for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds,
the Hub status indicator will ash
blue, indicating the Hub is in
network pairing mode.
After 10 seconds, the puck LED
will ash blue until it connects to
the Hub’s network.
Removing the IntelliKey after the
LED illuminates green will arm
the position if the position is fully
merchandised.

VERSA KEY
™
NETWORK PAIRING - RFID ASSET PROTECTION
Ensure the Hub and all CX Flex
or Freedom Micro II positions
are powered up. Once powered,
the staus light will illuminate (see
page 3 for LED Status Indicators).
Remove the IntelliKey (blue LED
will stay ashing on Hub for up to
15 minutes).
After connecting to the network,
the LED indicator will ash white
slowly if disarmed or solid white if
armed.
Plug Connect IntelliKey into
the USB port on the top of the
Hub. When the IntelliKey LED
lights green, it has been added
to the system whitelist. Remove
and repeat for all other Connect
IntelliKeys.
Activate user keys in the MTI
Connect web portal. This function
is only available to Managers or
higher level personnel.
Touch an activated user key to the
device. A double beep indicates
that the key will now control the
device.
Plug in any Connect IntelliKey in
for 10 seconds. After 10 seconds,
the Hub status indicator will ash
blue, indicating the Hub is in
network pairing mode.
Touch the pairing card to the
RFID device. The LED indicator
will ash blue for up to 90
seconds.

NETWORK PAIRING - RFID Locks
Ensure the Hub and all Lock
positions are powered up. Once
powered, the staus light will
illuminate (see page 3 for LED
Status Indicators).
Remove the IntelliKey (blue LED
will stay ashing on Hub for up to
15 minutes).
After connecting to the network,
the lock will sound a double
beep to conrm it has joined the
network.
Plug Connect IntelliKey into
the USB port on the top of the
Hub. When the IntelliKey LED
lights green, it has been added
to the system whitelist. Remove
and repeat for all other Connect
IntelliKeys.
Activate user keys in the MTI
Connect web portal. This function
is only available to Managers or

CONNECTIONS
1. Auxiliary Micro USB Power Port - Used for installation and maintenance
2. HDMI Port - Used for installation and maintenance
3. Audio/Video 3.5mm Port - Used for installation and maintenance
4. Primary Power Port - The standard power input. Connect a 5V power supply, rated for 10 watts or more (not
exceeding 15W)
5. Dipswitches - Sets congurations at installation. Refer to dipswitch setting table in appendix.
6. Reset button - Used to reset the list of whitelisted IntelliKeys
7. Ethernet port - Connect an Ethernet (RJ45) cable from a router or a broadband modem for network or Internet
access. The two lights next to the connector indicate the connectivity status and network activity.
Warning: Ports designated as “used for installation and maintenance” must not be accessed by end users. Only MTI-
certified technical personnel may use these ports during installation and maintenance.

DANGER
• LITHIUM-ION BATTERIES CAN POSE A RISK OF FIRE, PROPERTY DAMAGE AND
SERIOUS INJURY IF DAMAGED OR USED PAST THEIR EFFECTIVE LIFE (USUALLY 14
MONTHS).
• STOP USING THE BATTERY IMMEDIATELY AND STOP CHARGING THE BATTERY IF
ABNORMAL HEAT, ODOR, DISCOLORATION, DEFORMATION/SWELLING OR ANY OTHER
ABNORMAL CONDITION IS DETECTED.
• Thoroughly read the user’s manual before use, as inaccurate handling, storage or use of
lithium-ion rechargeable batteries may cause leakage, heat, smoke, re, or degrade battery
performance.
• Lithium-Ion batteries have nite life cycles. If the time that the battery powers equipment
between charges becomes shorter than usual, the battery life is at an end. Remove device
from service and contact MTI for guidance on replacement options.
CAUTION
• Keep away from heat or open ame, especially if leakage or an odor is detected.
• When not using the battery for an extended period, remove the electronic device from
service and store in a place with low humidity and controlled room temperature. Keep
the cells in 50% charged state during long period storage. Recommend maintenance is
to charge the battery up to 50% of the total capacity every 3 months after receipt of the
battery and maintain the voltage 3.7~4.0V.
• Extended or improper storage can result in degraded battery performance and increased risk
of failure.
FIRST AID MEASURES
• In case of battery rupture, evacuate personnel from contaminated area and provide
maximum ventilation to clear out fumes and gases. Avoid contact with any liquid leaking
from the battery.
• If liquid leaks onto your skin or clothes, immediately ush affected areas with plenty of
water and soap for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention. Do not apply ointments
unless instructed by a doctor.
• If liquid is leaking from the battery cell gets into your eyes, do not rub your eyes.
Immediately ush with plenty of water (eyelids-held open) for at least 15 minutes and seek
medical attention.
