- Supply plenty of fresh air when using the stove.
Do not obstruct the flow of combustion air or ventilation air.
- Do not use as a space heater.
- Stoves produce heat. Keep stove away from burnable materials.
Do not place the stove any closer than 24” to combustibles.
- Use a flat, level support surface where the stove is safe
from accidental tipping.
- Use only with Stansport brand butane fuel.
Do not attempt to alter.

WARNING
FIRE OR EXPLOSION HAZARD
If you smell gas:
1. Do not attempt to light appliance.
2. Extinguish any open flame.
3. Disconnect from fuel supply.
4. Evacuate immediately
5. Allow gas to dissipate 5 minutes
before relighting the appliance

damage, personal injury, or death
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
• Do not carry the unit while in use.
• Do not use for drying clothes, other items or as a heater.
• Do not use two or more stoves adjacent to each other.
• Never use the stove without the pan support in place.
• Do not use a pan larger than 10.5 in. as this will cover the fuel
compartment and cause the canister to overheat.
• Do not use two or more stoves covered by a single pan or metal sheet.
• Never use aluminum foil as a cooking container on the stove.
• Never use ceramic cookware on stove.
• Use non-flammable mat to protect stove from
sand, mud, stones or other debris, if present.
• Never heat an empty pan.
• Do not use in windy conditions as flame may be extinguished,
but gas will continue to flow.
• Never use stove near flammable materials or combustible vapors.
• Pan support must not be used in upside-down position.
• Do not use this stove below shelves or where there
is a danger of falling objects.

1. Read and follow all instructions.
2. Provide adequate clearance around air openings into the combustion chamber.
3. Do not expose the butane cylinder to excessive heat.
4. Always inspect the appliance, butane cylinder and connectors for damage, debris or dirt before
attaching the cylinder to the appliance.
5. NEVER install or remove butane cartridge while stove is lit, near flame, pilot lights, other ignition
sources or while it is hot to the touch.
6. Always inspect the burner holes for obstructions prior to operation. Do not operate if any
blockage is found.
7. Do not use or operate if either the appliance or butane cylinder is found to be damaged.
8. Always disconnect the butane cylinder when not in use and/or transporting. Store in an upright
position and in a cool, well ventilated area.
9. Be sure to tightly secure all connections to the butane cylinder prior to usage.
10. During operation, this product can be a source of ignition. NEVER use the stove in spaces that
contain or may contain volatile or airborne combustibles or products such as gasoline, solvents,
paint thinner, dust particles or unknown chemicals.
11. Discontinue operation and close valve if:
• Ambient temperature drops below-10ºF.
• There is no fuel remaining in the butane cylinder.
• Lighting cannot be performed quickly and easily.
• Combustion becomes unstable or there are repeated flame-outs.
12. Absolutely do not use indoors, or in a tent.
13. Never leave stove unattended when hot or in use. Keep out of the reach of children.
14. Do not connect to a remote gas supply.
15. Use a flat, level support surface where the heater is safe from accidental tipping.
16. Use only with butane fuel cylinders.
PLEASE READ CAREFULLY TO ENSURE YOUR SAFETY:
WARNING: Butane gas is highly flammable and under
pressure in the cylinder or tank. Do Not store or use gasoline
or other flammable liquids or vapors in the vicinity of
this appliance. If you detect the odor of gas, immediately
evacuate the enclosed area and contact the appropriate
authorities/professionals.
PRECAUTIONS FOR BUTANE FUEL USE
• No more than 48 LP-gas fuel canisters shall
be stored in one building.
• The butane cartridge used with this stove must
be constructed and marked in accordance with
the specifications for LP-gas cylinders of the
U.S. Department of Transportation of Transport
Canada, CAN/CSA B339.
• Avoid any strong shock or impact to the fuel canister.
Keep canisters upright for storage. Remove canister
from stove before storing.
• Butane canisters must be stored outdoors in a
well-ventilated space, out of reach of children
and must not be stored in a building, garage,
or any other enclosed area.
• Do not dispose of empty gas canister into fire,
risk of explosion may occur.
• Use only butane set up for vapor withdrawal.
CAUTION: BUTANE FUEL IS HIGHLY
FLAMMABLE AND UNDER PRESSURE.
NEVER store butane near high heat, open flames,
pilot lights, direct sunlight, other ignition sources or
where temperatures exceed 120º F (49ºC). Never use
a flame to check for leaks. Use soapy water. Keep out
of the reach of children at all times.

Note: Before beginning assembly of product, make sure all
parts are present. Compare parts with package content list
and hardware contents. If any part is missing or damaged
do not attempt to assemble the unit. Contact customer
service for replacement parts.

Step 1:
NOTE: Use only canisters marked as D.O.T.Type 2P or 2Q.
Always place on a stable, heat-resistant surface.
Place Canister Lever in the “Unlock” position.
Step 2:
Turn Control Knob to “Off” position.
Open Canister Cover.
Step 3:
To connect a butane canister, locate the notch on
its collar, lift up the safety guide inside at the stove
connection and insert canister so safety guide is
inside canister collar notch.
Step 4:
Push down the canister level to “LOCK”.
Check for gas leaks using soapy water. Never use
a flame. Bubbles indicate a leak. Failure to follow
these procedures can result in a gas leak.

Operation
Step 1:
Turn Control Knob counter-clockwise until a click is heard, which means a spark has been
produced and burner should ignite.
Step 2:
Adjust flame to desired height by continuing to turn Control Knob in a counter-
clockwise direction. Flame should be blue with a hint of yellow tip.
IF STOVE DOES NOT LIGHT, turn Control Knob back to “OFF” position and repeat previous step.
After 3 failed attempts to light stove, turn the gas supply off by turning the control knob clockwise
to “Off” position and return the Canister Lever to “Unlock” position. Open door, remove canister
and shake gently to verify that it is not empty.
CAUTION: Allow stove to cool completely before replacing canister.
Follow directions carefully to prevent accidental fire.
Step 3:
To turn off, turn Control Knob in a clockwise direction to “OFF” position.
THE STOVE IS EQUIPPED WITH A SAFETY DEVICE which stops the flow of gas if pressure in
the cartridge becomes too high, overheats, or malfunctions.
Cleaning and Storage
Step 1:
Allow burner and cooking surfaces to cool completely.
Step 2:
Remove butane canister.
Step 3:
Wipe down cooking surfaces with soap and warm water and soft cloth.
Use a stiff brush to clean burner head.
Step 4:
Allow stove to dry thoroughly before storage.
Step 5:
Never store stove with butane cylinder attached.
Step 6:
No other maintenance is necessary.
WARNING
When opening your stove, please ensure that the drip pan (pan support) is turned right side up. Currently the drip pan
is up side down for storage purposes.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Stansport™ warrants that for the period of one year this product,
will be free from defects in material and workmanship. Stansport™,
at its option, will repair or replace this product or any component
of the product found to be defective during the warranty period.
Replacement will be made with a new or remanufactured product
of component. If the product is no longer available, replacement will
be made with a similar product of equal or greater value. This is
your exclusive warranty.
This warranty is valid for the original retail purchaser from the date
of initial retail purchase and is not transferable. Keep the original sales
receipt. Proof of purchase is required to obtain warranty performance.
Stansport™ dealers, service centers, or retail stores selling Stansport™
products do not have the right to alter, modify or in any way change
the terms and conditions of this warranty.
This warranty does not cover normal wear of parts or damage resulting
from any of the following: negligent use or misuse of the product,
use contrary to the operating instructions, disassembly, repair or
alteration by anyone other than Stansport™or an authorized
service center. Further, the warranty does not cover acts of God,
such as fire, flood, hurricanes and tornados.
Stansport™ shall not be liable for any incident or consequential
damages caused by the breach of any express or implied warranty
or conditions. Except to the extent prohibited by applicable law,
any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular
purpose is limited in duration to the duration of the above warranty
or conditions. Some states, provinces or jurisdictions do not allow
the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages
or limitations on how long an implied warranty lasts, so the above
limitations or exclusion may not apply to you. This warranty gives
you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights that
vary from state to state or province to province.
