with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA 70, or the Canadian

minutes be ore attempting to relight the pilot to allow any
residual gas in appliance to dissipate.
WARNING
Ensure that the appliance can get enough air to keep the lame
burning correctly. I the lame is starved or air, it can give o a
dangerous carbon monoxide gas. Carbon monoxide is a clear
odorless gas that can cause su ocation.
