Preface
Dear customer,
Congratulations on purchasing a high quality MAGINON product.
You have chosen a modern Table Magnifier with excellent technical
equipment and respective accessory, which is particularly easy to
operate.
The device comes with a 3 year warranty. In case of a defect in the
Table Magnifier, you require the enclosed warranty card and proof of
purchase. Keep these in a safe place.

Read and keep instructions
This Operating Instruction belong to this Table Magnifier. It
contains important information about the start up and
handling. Study these Operating Instructions and, in
particular the Safety Information in detail prior to using the Table
Magnifier. Non observance of these Operating Instructions can lead to
loss of data or damage to the Table Magnifier.
These Operating Instructions are based on valid standards and
regulations of the EU. Also observe specific guidelines and laws in other
countries!
Keep the Operating Instructions for further use. When passing on the
Table Magnifier to third parties please also include these Operating
Instructions.

The following symbols and signal words are used in these Operating
Instructions, on the device or on the packaging.
DANGER!
These signal words indicate a high level hazard which could cause death
or serious injury if not avoided.
WARNING!
These signal words indicate a medium level hazard which could cause
death or serious injury if not avoided.

NOTE!
This signal word warns against potential material damage.
This symbol indicates useful additional information for the

applicable Community regulations for the European Economic

Correct use
The device is solely designed to be used as a Table Magnifier. It is only
suitable for private and not for commercial use.
Only use the Table Magnifier as described in the operating instructions.
Any other use is deemed to be incorrect and can cause material damage
and loss of data.
The manufacturers or dealers do not accept any liability for damage
resulting from improper or incorrect use.

Safety information
− The Table Magnifier together with its accessories and packaging
are not toys. Keep them out of the reach of children. Failure to do so
could lead to electric shocks, poisoning and suffocation.
− Do not operate Table Magnifier in case of visible damages.
− Do not open housing but have repair carried out by an expert.
Contact a specialist workshop. All liability and warranty claims shall
be void in case of repairs carried out by users, incorrect connection or
improper use.
− The Table Magnifier may not be operated with an external timer or
separate remote control system.
− Never immerse the Table Magnifier in water or other fluids.
− Never touch the Table Magnifier with wet hands.
− Keep the Table Magnifier away from open flames and hot surfaces.
− Never store the Table Magnifier in such a way that it can fall into a
trough or wash basin.

− Ensure that children do not push objects into the Table Magnifier.
− Keep batteries away from children and pets.
WARNING!
Hazard for children and persons with reduced physical, sensory or
mental abilities (such as partially disabled, older persons with limi-
ted physical and mental abilities) or lack of experience and know-
how (such as older children).
− This Table Magnifier must not be used by persons with reduced
physical, sensory or mental abilities or lack of experience or know
how, unless they are supervised or have been instructed on how
to safely use the Table Magnifier and understand the hazards
associated with it. Children may not play with the Table Magnifier.
The Table Magnifier may not be cleaned or maintained by children.
− Keep children under the age of eight away from the Table Magnifier.

− Do not leave the Table Magnifier unintended during operation.
− Keep packaging foil away from children. They could get caught in it
during play and could suffocate.
WARNING!
Battery hazard for children!
WARNING: Keep batteries out of reach of children.
Swallowing may lead to serious injury or death in as
little as 2 hours due to internal burns. If swallowed, go
straight to a hospital emergency room. Dispose of used
batteries immediately.
− There is a risk of explosion on improper replacement of the batteries
or when using batteries of the wrong type. Always make sure that
the batteries are installed with the correct polarity (+ and –) as shown
on the battery.

− Use only batteries of type “CR 2016”. Never mix old and new batteries
or batteries of different types or manufacturers! Replace all batteries
of one set at the same time. Clean battery contacts and the contacts
in the device itself before installing batteries.
− Never subject the batteries to excessive heat, such as sunshine, fire
etc. There is a risk of fire and explosion.
− NEVER touch leaking batteries without the proper protection.
− Keep unused batteries in the original packaging and away from
metal objects. Do not mix batteries after removing them from the
packaging.
− Never store or transport a battery in a bag/toolbox or the like if there
is any risk of them coming into contact with metal objects.
− Remove dead batteries from the device immediately.
− Battery Disposal: Old or discharged batteries must be properly
disposed of and recycled in compliance with all applicable laws. For
detailed information, contact your local solid waste authority.

− Follow the battery manufacturer’s safety, usage, and disposal
instructions.
The Table Magnifier is suitable for indoor use only! The device
may not be used outside buildings.
NOTE!
Danger of material damage!
Incorrect use of the Table Magnifier can cause the Table Magnifier to be
damaged.
− When cleaning, never immerse the Table Magnifier in water and
do not use steam cleaner. The Table Magnifier could otherwise be
damaged.

− Do not use the Table Magnifier if plastic or metal parts of it show cracks
or tears or are deformed. Replace damaged parts only with original
spare parts
− Damage to the electronics, lens or accessory caused by external
influences such as impacts, falls or others are not covered by the
warranty and are chargeable.

Preparing the Table Magnifier
− Remove packaging material and all protective foil.

Keep plastic foil and bags away from babies and small children as
danger of suffocation.
NOTE!
Danger of damage!!
If the packaging is carelessly opened with a sharp knife or other pointed

objects, the product can be easily damaged. Please open packaging
carefully.
1. Check that delivery is complete (see Fig. A).
2. Remove the Table Magnifierfrom packaging and check whether
the equipment or parts are damaged. If yes, do not use the Table
Magnifier.Contact the service address of the manufacturer listed on
the Warranty card.
Use
Place the Table Magnifier on a text or object that you want to look at
in magnified form. The maximum 3.5-times enlargement applies to
objects on the base of the Table Magnifier. Press the silver outside ring
on the Table Magnifier to switch the light on or off. The light will switch
off automatically after 10 minutes.

Replacing batteries
Open the battery compartment on the inside of the Table Magnifier
by sliding the cover in the direction of the arrow and lifting the cover.
Remove both existing batteries and insert 2 new batteries of type “CR
2016”.
Please ensure that both batteries are inserted in the same direction of
Plus (+) and Minus (-) pole. The plus pole should be pointing towards
you.
