INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing your Magnatone Amp.
This amplier was designed in the rich tradition of
Magnatone to be the best your money could buy.
We are proud of our product and every detail has
been meticulously fashioned for the discerning user.
Whether you are a touring professional, basement
jammer or anywhere in between, we take your
sound and need for the best amplier seriously.
The Super Fifteen amplier is designed to give you
a portable and powerful amplier in a unique and authentic
package. The original Magnatone Vibrato circuit is nestled
between the nest Pre-Amp & Power Amp ever before
available in any amp.
The amp begins with 12AX7 front end coupled with an
EL84 power section, master volume, and tube rectication.
This conguration delivers full bodied clean tones and
natural overdrive, all while letting you dial in the “chime.”
The vibrato has been integrated into the gain path,
and the master volume delivers a classic British crunch
at any volume.
The Super Fifteen has plenty of muscle to gig with and
performs with a range of tone never thought possible.
The exclusive Magnatone pitch-shifting vibrato
elevates your musical experience to new levels.

WITH VOLTAGE, POWER, AND FREQUENCY REQUIREMENTS STATED ON
THE REAR PANEL OF THE APPARATUS.

The essence of the Super Fifteen, as in all
Magnatone amps, is the pitch-shifting vibrato.
Conventional tremolo is also included to make this as all
the new Magnatone amps truly without equal
Available in 1x12”.

INPUTS
Input 1: High Sensitivity
Use this input for max pickup output and frequency response .
Input 2: Low Sensitivity (6dB)
Use this input for hotter pickups.
GAIN
Controls overall gain/volume. Typically, breakup will
begin to occur around 3-4 on the dial.
TONE
Adjusts the overall high and low frequency balance of the
amplier — fully counter-clockwise rolls off the highs,
fully clockwise rolls off the bass.
MASTER
Controls the overall volume of the amplier.
Power tube saturation begins around 6-7 on the dial.
INTENSITY
Controls the amount of modulation effect.
A good balance of effect should be maintained for normal use.
FM/AM SWITCH
Controls whether the effect is exclusive Magnatone pitch
shifting vibrato (FM) or conventional tremolo (AM).
AM- Amplitude Modulation
FM- Frequency Modulation
SPEED
Controls the rate or speed of the selected effect.
The exclusive Magnatone design allows for extremely slow
“choral” settings not attainable from the original design.
When the remote pedal is connected, the front panel
control is inactive.
POWER SWITCH
Turns the amplier on and off.
Make sure you are plugged into a proper grounded outlet.
STANDBY SWITCH
Allow the amplier 1 minute to warm up before engaging.

WARRANTY
All Magnatone Ampliers are warranted to remain
free of defects in materials for three years from the
date of purchase by the original owner provided that:
• The owner emails ([email protected])
or mails a photocopy of the original purchase receipt
to Magnatone Ampliers within thirty days of purchase.
• Problems are not the result of misuse, abuse,
tampering, circuit modication, improper tube
installation (incorrect orientation of tubes can
damage the amp), or spilled beverages;
any of these will void the warranty.
• The amplier is shipped to Magnatone Ampliers
in the original packing materials, or materials of
equal quality, with freight paid by the purchaser.
(Note: If the amplier failed within thirty days of use,
shipping will be reimbursed). We will pay the return
shipping after warranty work is complete within
the continental US.
Tubes, speakers, and reverb tanks carry a ninety-day
warranty and are subject to the same terms and
conditions as stated above.

IMPEDANCE SELECTOR
Select the output impedance of the amplier between 16 and 8
Ohms. Always match the impedance with the speaker cabinet.
EXT SPEAKER
Connect external speakers here. 8 Ohm minimum impedance.
LINE OUT
Line level outputs. Speaker response compensated for DI use.
Always maintain a speaker load while using line output.
REMOTE PEDAL
Connect the optional Magnatone remote speed
pedal here. Use any 1/4” mono or stereo guitar cable.
When connected, the front panel speed control is disabled.
The remote pedal works with both FM and AM settings.
FOOT SWITCH
Use any single button foot switch to turn on/off the effect.
