•Before coupling, stop the tractor engi-
ne and release pressure of the hydrau-
lic circuit acting the lever in two directio-
ns, remove the caps “B” and clean the
quick coupling (male), as well as the
female terminals of the tractor.
•Before uncoupling, close the spherical valve to block the circuit. Stop the tractor engine and re-
lease pressure of the hydraulic circuit acting the lever in two directions. Then uncouple and put the
caps “B” Fig. 19.

Once coupled the hoses, verify:
1. That the machine can do normal movements without they get tight.
2. They do not have to be left too long to avoid accidents.
• We advise when coupling the hoses, chose its position, to coordinate the movements of the tractor
lever with those of the machine and identify the trip, in order that in successive couplings operate
the same way.
• Control that hydraulic hoses are not chipped or marked, in case of being, replace them immediatly.

PTO SHAFT
INSTALLATION
The PTO Shaft must be installed like is
shown in the Fig. 20, one end towards the
tractor and the end with shear bolt at the
imput shaft of the machine.
Prior to mounting we advice:
• Clean otu paint, oxide, etc, and lubri-
cate the splined ends of the axles were
the PTO shaft will t.
Verify length:
• Disassemble the PTO shaft in two par-
ts (uncouple male and female).
• With the machine in working position,
the male part coupled at the tractor
and the female part with shear bolt at
the machine, verify with the parts para-
llel to the PTO shaft have a “minimum
overlap of 400 mm” (between male
and female) Fig. 21.
• Verify when the shaft adopts the mini-
mum length, (closed turns, etc). The
telescopic sector must have a separa-
tion at least “30 mm” Fig. 22. In case of
being less cut in equal proportion the
extremes of both sliding metallic tubes,
as well as the plastic protections.
If the PTO shaft doesn´t t as a result
of the tractor draw bar is not standari-
zed, proceed to rectify one of them, to
obtain the values stated previously.

WORKING INSTALLATION
After executed length corrections, pro-
ceed to the denitive working installation:
1. Lubricate the telescopic section “A”
Fig 23.
2. Assamble metallic sections and pro-
tections.
3. Set the ends of the PTO shft at:
a) The imput shaft of the machine,
verifying proper installation of
the lock “B” Fig. 23.
b) The tractor, verifying the correct
coupling of the lock “C”.
4. Verify the protections “D” turn freely.
5. Then attach the safety chains to prevent spinning during work, with enough clearence perform normal
movements.
6. Lubricate the grease nipples “E” Fig. 23 according to the plan indicated at the Lubrication Plan on this
manual.
SHEAR BOLT
The PTO Shaft has installed one shear bolt
“A” Fig. 24, which act when any overload
at the auger exists.
The bolt used is:
For PTO Shaft B & P
Hexagon head bolt. Gº 8.8
RM 8 x 45 mm. . . . . . . . . 21705-346
- The PTO shaft demands to the operator “MAXIMUM” caution during work.
- Check at those tractors which posses protections at the zone were the PTO shaft is coupled, it does
not interfere normal function during work.
- Make sure when assembling the shaft that it “DO NOT” moves axially on the shaft.
FIG.23
FIG.24
Always use the bolt size and quality
stated, do not use a higher quality or
larger size because can affect the par-
ts to be powered.
If the shear bolt gets cut, identify the
cause for which this happened, and
solve the inconvenience before restart
the work.
