ATTENTION! The life span of the battery depends on you as well! Please
use the camera correctly as described in this manual. If you intend to use
the solar panel eciently for recharging the battery, install the camera
in a sunny place where sucient sunlight is provided for charging the
battery every day. Adjust the solar panel’s vertical angle correctly (ideal
is app. 45 degrees), horizontally it should face towards the midday sun.
Please pay attention to place your camera in a non-shaded place with
sucient sunshine provided for the solar panel operating eciently.
If you prefer to charge the camera battery by grid power with the USB
cable, please care about charging your camera when the battery level
runs low.
If you intend to turn o your camera, and you do not want to use it for a
while, please make sure that the battery has sucient charge, and it is
not totally discharged. If you would like to store the camera instead of
using it, please turn o the camera with the ON/OFF button. In case of
a longer storage, please turn on the camera once every month, and full-
charge the battery. It may decrease the life span of the battery if the
camera is stored for a longer period with a totally discharged battery,
moreover it can damage the battery!
ATTENTION! The camera has infrared motion sensor. Infrared motion
sensors are pretty much sensitive to direct sunlight! In case of outdoor
applications, when you choose the location of your camera, and there
are no roofs or any objects above the camera providing a shade, we
recommend you TO AVOID FACING THE CAMERA HEAD TOWARDS THE
SUN! Facing the camera towards the sun does not aect the operation of
the camera in any ways, but it may increase the number of false alarms!
