CAREFULLY, YOU FIND DETAILED DESCRIPTION ABOUT HOW TO REMOVE
YOUR DEVICES FROM THE APP BELOW!
ATTENTION! The life span of the battery depends on you as well! Please
use the camera correctly as described in this manual. If you intend to use
the solar panel eciently for recharging the battery, install the camera
in a sunny place where sucient sunlight is provided for charging the
battery every day. Adjust the solar panel’s vertical angle correctly (ideal
is app. 45 degrees), horizontally it should face towards the midday sun.
Please pay attention to place your camera in a non-shaded place with
sucient sunshine provided for the solar panel operating eciently.
If you prefer to charge the camera battery by grid power with the USB
cable, please care about charging your camera when the battery level
runs low.
If you intend to turn o your camera, and you do not want to use it for a
while, please make sure that the battery has sucient charge, and it is
not totally discharged. If you would like to store the camera instead of
using it, please turn o the camera with the ON/OFF button. In case of
a longer storage, please turn on the camera once every month, and full-
charge the battery. It may decrease the life span of the battery if the
camera is stored for a longer period with a totally discharged battery,
moreover it can damage the battery!
ATTENTION! The camera has infrared motion sensor. Infrared motion
sensors are pretty much sensitive to direct sunlight! In case of outdoor
applications, when you choose the location of your camera, and there
are no roofs or any objects above the camera providing a shade, we
recommend you TO AVOID FACING THE CAMERA HEAD TOWARDS THE
SUN! Facing the camera towards the sun does not aect the operation of
the camera in any ways, but it may increase the number of false alarms!

FIRST USE - START-UP THE CAMERA
INDICATOR LIGHT COLOR CODES:
Reset: green and blue light ash simultaneously
Charging: red indicator light shines continuously, and goes o when
battery is full-charged
No network connection: blue light ashes slowly
Healthy operation: blue light shines continuously
Sleep mode: all lights are o
BASIC FUNCTIONS:
Once you turn on the device for the rst time, the blue light ashes slowly.
Reset: by pressing, and holding the Reset button for 3 seconds, the blue
and green indicator lights are ashing simultaneously during the process.
Once the factory settings are restored, and the camera restarted, the blue
light ashes slowly.
Turning o the camera: by pressing and holding the ON/OFF button the
device shuts down, and all indicator lights turn o.
CHARGING THE BATTERY FOR THE FIRST TIME:
Before starting-up your camera, please full-charge the battery with the
USB DC-5V cable by grid power. Depending on the charge level of the
battery, the full-charge may take 5-10 hours.

APP SETTINGS
DOWNLOADING THE APPLICATION:
Please scan the QR code with your cell phone,
and download O-K AM app, or search for the
O-KAM app in App Store or Google Play, and
download it to your cell phone.
REGISTRATION IN THE APP:
1. Tap “Register now” in the login page, then
choose your geographic location, and provide your e-mail address
where you would like the app to send the verication code to.
2. After entering the verication code, please provide your password,
and tap “Finish”.

APP SETTINGS
ADD A DEVICE:
1. Tap “+Add” or the “+” icon in the top right corner of the screen.
2. At the QR code scanning page tap the “4G camera” option.
3. Insert a FAT32 formatted micro TF card correctly in the port. (Care!
The TF card is not the part of the package! The device supports TF
cards up to 256 GB!)
4. Insert the SIM card into the SIM card slot, and tap “Next”. The SIM
card is not the part of the package.
5. Tap “Hear a beep or see a steady light” then tap “Next”.
6. Hold the screen of your cell phone at a 10-20 cm distance from the
lens of the camera to let the camera scan the QR code. Do not shake
or move the camera or the phone during the scanning process. The
camera releases a sound if pairing is successful.
7. Tap “Bind now”.

IF ANY ERROR OCCURS DURING THE PAIRING PROCESS:
1. Please check whether the SIM card is inserted properly in its slot.
2. Please check with your provider whether the SIM card is active, and
recharged.
3. Please apply a reset on the device, and try the pairing
process again.
4. Please try a SIM card of another provider.

FUNCTIONS OF THE APP
NIGHT VISION SETTINGS:
1. Constant black&white (IR) night mode
2. Constant color night mode
3. Smart night mode (default setting)
DRAW AREA FOR MOTION SENSOR:
• You can dene the environment for sensing motion with this
function, you are able to narrow or widen the sensing environment
of the motion sensor.
INSTALLATION HEIGHT:
• Due to PIR characteristics the ideal installation height is between
2.0 - 2.8 m. Installing the camera too high may result blind spots in
motion detection.

FORMATTING THE TF CARD:
1. Tap “System Settings” then tap “TF Record Settings”.
• TF card must be formatted before rst use, as well as in case
of replacement. Non-formatted TF-cards, or TF cards with
incompatible format will not be able to store recordings.

RECORD SETTINGS:
1. Tap “System Settings” then tap “Power mode”.
• Sleep mode: Camera sleeps, it is awakened by triggering the
motion sensor, or by the user through the app.
• Smart sleep mode: Continuous recording above 40% battery
charge level, below 40% battery charge level regular sleep mode.
• Deep sleep mode: Camera is only awakened by triggering the
motion sensor, camera cannot be awakened from the app.

SHARING THE DEVICE:
1. Tap “System Settings” then tap “Share”.
2. The camera, and its functions can be shared with other registered
O-K AM users by scanning the QR code in O-K AM by the other user.
3. The master user of the camera can provide access to various
functions of the camera to other users, and also can ban them. In
this case the other users can only access the live view of the camera.

DELETING THE DEVICE:
1. Tap “System Settings” then tap “Device Settings”.
IMPORTANT! If you intend to change your cell phone, please remove the
camera from O-KAM on your previous phone. Then press and hold the
Reset button on the camera for 5-10 seconds. After the reset is done you
can pair the camera with your new phone through O-K AM app.

CHARGING THE BATTERY:
ATTENTION! Before rst use charge the battery by grid power using
the USB cable (5V DC). Charging may take 5-10 hours depending on the
charge level of your battery. The indicator light is on when the battery
is under charging.
RESET TO FACTORY SETTINGS:
In case the camera does not connect properly to your phone or tablet,
the reset can be a quick solution for the issue.
Remove the camera from the app then press and hold the Reset button
for at least 3 seconds. After the reset is done you can pair your camera
through O-KAM app again.

MOUNTING THE CAMERA
Please only install your camera at its nal location after you charged the
battery completely, and you paired the device with your smartphone
or tablet!
1. Sign the locations of the holes on the chosen surface.
2. Drill the holes.
3. Push the anchors in the holes.
4. Position the camera correctly, then x it by driving the screws in with
the screwdriver.
5. Set up the preferred angle in the app.
ATTENTION! The characteristics of the chosen surface dene what
tools/screws etc. you need for safe mounting. Please do not insist on
the screws and anchors located in the package if the chosen surface
requires other type of mounting items.

USER INSTRUCTIONS, INFORMATION
1. After receiving your camera, please open the camera’s box gently
with paying attention not to cause harm to the camera and its parts.
2. Before starting to use your camera, please make sure that there are
no visible damages on the camera and its parts.
3. If you observe breaking, crack, fracture on the camera or on its
parts, please do not use the product, but contact us for replacement.
4. Please do not apply strong physical force on the product that can
damage the camera or its parts. Non-ordinary use of the product
results the loss of product warranty.
5. Please keep the box, the packaging material, and the
content out of the reach of children, and pets. There are small
objects among the parts of the camera, which children or pets can
ingest, or can cause harm to themselves with.
6. Please do not disassemble the camera, do not bend the
camera, or apply physical stress on the camera. Please follow the
user manual’s instructions for installation, and operation.
7. Do not expose the camera to higher heat than natural
caused by weather changes. Excessive heat may damage more
constituents of the camera.
8. Do not expose the camera to continuous high- or low-
pressure water ow, even if you intend to clean your camera. The
IP65 protection does not mean you can put the camera in water, or
you can wash the camera with continuous water stream. The next
chapter declares the right method of cleaning.
9. Please always contact Malatech Water, Ltd, or a
professional appointed by our company if you intend to disassemble
the camera, remove any of its parts, or service the camera. Service
attempts made by users are prohibited, and result the loss of
product warranty.
