1. EINFÜHRUNG
Die Manfrotto 521SB Splitter Box erlaubt es Ihnen, zwei Manfrotto LANC
Fernsteuerungen bei einer einzelnen Video-Kamera einzusetzen. So können Sie
eine Fernsteuerung für den Zoom und die andere für den Fokus benutzen.
2. VERPACKUNGSINHALT
Bitte vergewissern Sie sich, dass Sie folgende Teile erhalten haben:
- Splitter Box
- LANC Kabel
- Dieses Handbuch
3. AUFSTELLEN (SIEHE BILD UNTEN)
- Sie können die Splitter Box mit den mitgelieferten Schrauben befestigen.
- Stecken Sie die LANC Steuereinheiten in die 2.5 mm Buchsen der Splitter Box,
als “Controller 1” und “Controller 2” bezeichnet

Verbinden Sie die Splitter Box mit der Video-Kamera über das mitgelieferte LANC Kabel
- Schalten Sie die Kamera ein. Das rote LED wird aufleuchten und anzeigen, dass es von
der Kamera versorgt wird. Sie können nun die zwei Steuereinheiten gleichzeitig nutzen.
Bitte denken Sie daran, dass die Kamera nur ein LANC Kommando nach dem anderen
verarbeiten kann. Es ist also nicht möglich, zur selben Zeit den Zoom und den Fokus
zu betätigen. Welches Kommando die höhere Priorität hat (definiert durch das LANC
Protokol), wird aktiviert werden.
Anmerkung! Die Splitter Box wird nur mit Manfrotto LANC Steuereinheiten in den
Kombinationen funktionieren, die in der unteren Tabelle angegeben sind.

Anmerkung – Einer der Steuereinheiten muss mit einer Seriennummer hergestellt
worden sein, die grösser ist als: 003928.
WARNUNG!
- Benutzen Sie nie eine Splitter Box mit anderen Steuereinheiten als in der oberen
Liste aufgeführt! Manfrotto Steuereinheiten sind speziell hergestellt worden, um
mit der Splitter Box zusammen eingesetzt zu werden. Andere Steuereinheiten
können ein unvorhersehbares Verhalten hervorrufen und Schäden verursachen.
- Verbinden Sie nie zwei Video-Kameras an eine Splitter Box, da dies zu
permanenten Schäden an den Kameras führen kann!

The Manfrotto 521SB Splitter Box allows you to use two Manfrotto LANC Remote
Control units with a single video camera, enabling you to use one remote to control
zoom and the other to keep focus.

Il Manfrotto 521SB Splitter Box (sdoppiatore) consente di usare due controlli
remoti Manfrotto LANC con un’unica videocamera, in modo da utilizzarne uno per
comandare lo zoom e l’altro per la messa a fuoco.

1. INTRODUCTION
Le boîtier de dérivation (“Splitter Box”) 521SB de Manfrotto vous permet d’utiliser
deux télécommandes LANC avec une seule caméra, l’une pour le contrôle exclusif
du zoom et l’autre pour le contrôle de la mise au point, par exemple.
2. CONTENU DE L’EMBALLAGE
Vérifiez que vous êtes bien en possession des articles suivants :
- Boîtier de dérivation
- Câble LANC
- La présente notice d’utilisation
3. SET-UP (see picture below)
- You may fix the splitter box by means of supplied screw.
- Plug LANC controllers into splitter box 2.5 mm jacks described as “Controller 1”
and “Controller 2”
- Connect splitter box to a video camera by means of supplied LANC cable
- Switch the camera on. The red LED will illuminate indicating that it is powered
from the camera. You may now start using two controllers at the same time.
Please note, the camera can only process one LANC command at a time, so it
is not possible to zoom and focus at the exact same time. Whichever command
has higher priority (defined in LANC protocol) will be activated.
3. PREPARAZIONE (VEDERE LA FIGURA DI SEGUITO)
- Lo sdoppiatore può essere fissato con la vite in dotazione.
- Collegare i controlli remoti LANC descritti come “Controllo 1” e “Controllo 2” alle
prese da 2,5 mm dello sdoppiatore.
- Collegare lo sdoppiatore ad una videocamera tramite il cavo LANC in dotazione.
- Accendere la videocamera. Il LED rosso si accende per indicare l’alimentazione
da parte della videocamera. Ora è possibile iniziare ad utilizzare in contemporanea
i due controlli remoti. Va notato che la videocamera può eseguire un solo
comando LANC alla volta, per cui non è possibile zoomare e mettere a fuoco
esattamente nello stesso momento. Sarà attivato il comando che ha la priorità in
un dato istante (definito dal protocollo LANC).
3. INSTALLATION (VOIR ILLUSTRATION CI-DESSOUS)
- Vous pouvez fixer le boîtier de dérivation à un support à l’aide de la vis fournie.
- Branchez les télécommandes LANC dans les prises jack de 2,5 mm du boîtier de
dérivation (prises “Controller 1” et “Controller 2”).
- Connectez le boîtier de dérivation à une caméra à l’aide du câble LANC fourni.
- Allumez la caméra. Le voyant lumineux rouge s’allume sur le boîtier, indiquant que
la caméra est en marche. Vous pouvez alors utiliser les deux télécommandes.
Veuillez noter que la caméra ne peut gérer qu’une commande LANC à la fois : il
n’est donc pas possible de zoomer et de faire une mise au point simultanément.
La commande prioritaire (selon le protocole LANC) sera exécutée en premier.
Note! Splitter box will work only with Manfrotto LANC controllers used in
combination as shown in the table below.

- Never use splitter box with other controllers than listed in table above! Manfrotto
controllers are specifically designed to work with splitter box. Connecting
different controllers may result in undefined behavior and can lead to damage.
- Never connect two video cameras to one splitter box as it may lead to
permanent camera damage!
