OPERATION INSTRUCTIONS
NOTE: Before using the floodlight for the first time,
insert fully charged rechargeable batteries or 4 new
AA batteries.
1. To adjust the angle of the floodlight, pull on
the handle, and set it to one of the seven
detent positions.
2. Press the power button on the back to
select from four operating modes: high,
low, flashing, and OFF.
3. When finished using the floodlight, store
indoors and away from children.
CHARGING INSTRUCTIONS
CAUTION! Do not leave the floodlight unattended
while charging. Charging should be done by adults
only.
WARNING! Charge on a non-flammable surface in a
well-ventilated area. Do not use the floodlight while
it is being charged.
NOTE: Before using the floodlight for the first time,
fully charge the batteries.
1. Open the charging port cover on the back
of the floodlight and plug the micro USB
connector on the supplied USB cable into
the charging input port. Plug the other end
of the cable into a USB port of a computer
or any other USB power source or adaptor
to begin charging.
2. The charging indicator light will turn on.
3. The time required to fully charge the
rechargeable batteries is approximately 4–6
hours. When charging is complete,
disconnect the USB cable from the
floodlight and power source. Close the
charging port cover.
NOTICE: Do not leave the rechargeable batteries in
a discharged state. Charge the batteries every 3
months if the floodlight is not in use. This will keep
the batteries from wearing down. Do not charge
the floodlight at temperatures below 4 °C.
CHARGING USB DEVICES
1. Verify that the floodlight is fully charged, or
that new regular batteries are inserted.
2. Open the charging port cover and plug the
USB cable of the device you wish to charge
into the USB output port.
3. Plug the other end of the USB cable into the
device to begin charging.
4. When charging is complete, disconnect the
USB cable from the device and the
floodlight.
5. Recharge the floodlight batteries or insert
new regular batteries.
INSERTING THE BATTERIES
NOTE: The floodlight can work on two types of
batteries (4×AA battery or 2×18650 rechargeable
battery)
1. Unplug the USB cable from the floodlight (if
connected).
2. Remove the battery cover on the backside
of the floodlight.
3. Insert the batteries and mind the correct
polarity.
4. Close the battery cover.
IMPORTANT
•Only use the included USB charging cable.
Other USB cables may damage the unit or
cause a fire.
•Do not submerge the unit.
•Do not operate in explosive atmospheres,
such as in the presence of flammable
liquids, gases, or dust.
•People with pacemakers should consult
their physician before use. Electromagnetic
fields in proximity could cause pacemaker
interference or failure.
•The floodlight is not a toy. Keep out of
children’s reach.
•The floodlight works on battery power.
Batteries must be recycled or disposed of
properly. Do not crush, heat above 60 °C, or
incinerate.
WARRANTY
The warranty is valid for 24 months. You can claim it
from DFVU d.o.o., Liparjeva 6a, 1234 Mengeš,
Slovenia, for a replacement product or a refund.
Send us your order number and purchase date in the
email, which is available by clicking on our logo in the
bottom right corner. The product has a lifetime of 24
months from the date of collection.
WEEE disposal and recycling symbol.
The WEEE symbol is attached to the
product in compliance with the EU
directive 2012/19/EU on Waste
Electrical and Electronic Equipment
(WEEE). It is intended to deter the
improper disposal of this product and to
promote reuse and recycling.
