About the remote control
Inserting the batteries
ARemove the rear lid in the direction of the arrow and remove it.

The unit uses an HDAM® SA2 circuit, whose quality has been proved in
Super Audio CD players and high-end amplifiers, as a high-speed
buffer amplifier.
You can enjoy the high speed and high-quality sound like that produced
by high-end equipment.
0Incorporates a Cirrus Logic advanced D/A converter, CS4398
A D/A converter is an essential element for the audio quality of a CD
player. The CS4398 Cirrus Logic D/A Converter, which has a reputation
for high precision and has been adopted for other Marantz Super Audio
CD players, is adopted for this unit.
0Equipped with jitter-reducing circuit
This unit is equipped with a jitter reducing circuit to achieve even higher
definition playback. This enables you to enjoy outstanding S/N with
playback that gives you an even more live-sounding listening
experience.

The high-grade headphone circuit incorporates a high-speed buffer
amplifier to enable headphone listening of high quality sound

GREMOTE CONTROL IN/OUT connectors
Used to connect to a Marantz amplifier that is compatible with the

HEXTERNAL/INTERNAL switch
Turn this switch to “EXTERNAL” to operate the unit by pointing the
remote control at the amplifier connected to this unit using the remote
control connection. (v p. 29)
IWi-Fi CONNECT iOS button
Connects to iOS.

JAC inlet (AC IN)
Used to connect the power cord. (v p. 30)
KBluetooth/wireless LAN antenna connectors
Used to connect the included external antennas for Bluetooth/wireless
connectivity when connecting to a network via wireless LAN, or when
connecting to a handheld device via Bluetooth. (v p. 26)
APlace the external antennas for Bluetooth/wireless connectivity
evenly over the screw terminal of rear.
BTurn clockwise until the antennas is fully connected.
CRotate the antenna upwards for best reception.
