Connect 6021
Der Adapter „Connect 6021“ ermöglicht die Verwen-
dung folgender Geräte zusammen mit der
Central Station 60213/60214:
• Control Unit (6021)
• Control 80 F (6036)
• Control 80 (6035)
• Keyboard (6040)
• Memory (6043).
Die Control Unit darf nicht direkt mit der Gleisan-
lage verbunden sein.

Prüfen der Softwareversion Ihrer Central Station
Die Softwareversion sollte 1.2.5 oder größer sein, ge-
gebenfalls muss zuerst ein Update ausgeführt werden.
Zum Prüfen der Softwareversion betätigen Sie die
Central Station wie nachfolgend dargestellt.

Einrichten und Betrieb
Nach Anschluss des Gerätes, wie zuvor dargestellt,
können Sie dieses sofort in Betrieb nehmen. Mit der
Control Unit 6021 können die Lokomotiven mit der
Standard-Motorola-Adresse wie gewohnt gesteuert
werden.
Lokomotiven zuweisen
Sie können bis zu 80 Lokomotiven der Control Unit 6021
zuweisen, wobei die zugewiesene Adresse nur eine
Umsetzadresse zwischen Control Unit und Connect
6021 ist.

weitere Lokomotiven
hinzufügen, entfernen,
Umsetzadresse ändern
oder die Änderungen
speichern.

Umsetzadresse zuweisen
!Das Ändern der Umsetzadresse wird nicht auf
den Lokdecoder übertragen!
Die Control Unit 6021 kann nur die Adressen 1 - 80
ausgeben. Um Lokomotiven mit Decoder-Adressen
größer 80 steuern zu können, muss eine Umsetz-
Adresse 1- 80 zugewiesen werden.
Z.B. Lok mit „mm2 Decoder programmierbar“ ist auf
die Adresse 146 eingestellt, dieser kann man somit
eine Umsetzadresse (1- 80) geben um sie mit der
Control Unit steuern zu können.
Bei einer mfx Lokomotive hat dies den Vorteil, dass
mann nicht die vorgegebene Motorola-Adresse (falls
diese schon belegt ist) löschen muss, sondern durch
Vergabe einer freien Umsetzadresse diese Lok zusätz-
lich nutzen kann.
!Es darf keine Umsetzadresse mehrfach verwendet
werden.
Alle nicht verwendeten Umsetzadressen werden als
Standard-Motorola-Adressen vom Connect verwaltet.
Alle Lokomotiven mit Motorola-Adresse 1- 80 können
ohne Änderung der Umsetzadresse mit der Control
Unit gesteuert werden.

Keyboard
Das Keyboard benötigt keine Zuweisung. Die Adres-
sen (1 - 256) des Keyboards sind vorgegeben. Sie
können somit die Weichen sofort betätigen.
Memory
Es stehen alle bisher angelegten Fahrstraßen unver-
ändert zur Verfügung. Die Fahrstraßen können jedoch
von denen der Central Station abweichen oder dort
nicht angelegt sein.
!Um einen sicheren Betrieb zu gewährleisten, müs-
sen alle schon angelegten Fahrstraßen im Memory um
die Tastenfolge „extern“ und „A5“ erweitert werden.
Beispiel:
Fehler und Fehlerbehebung
Bei Störung oder Fehlfunktionen des Connect führen
Sie einen Reset der Control Unit aus und starten durch
drücken der Taste „stop“ der Central Station erneut.

The “Connect 6021“ adapter allows you to use the
following Units together with the 60213/60214 Central
Station:
• Control Unit (6021)
• Control 80 F (6036)
• Control 80 (6035)
• Keyboard (6040)
• Memory (6043).
The Control Unit may not be Connected directly to
the track layout.
Checking the Software Version for your Central Station
The software version should be 1.2.5 or greater; if
necessary, an update must be done fi rst.
Activate the Central Station as shown below in order to
check the software version.

Setup and Operation
You can immediately begin to use the Unit after it has
been Connected as previously shown. Locomotives
with the standard Motorola address can be Controlled
as usual with the 6021 Control Unit.
Assigning Locomotives
You can assign up to 80 locomotives to the 6021 Control
Unit, whereby the assigned address is only a converter
address between the Control Unit and the Connect 6021.

You can now add additional locomotives,
remove locomotives, change the converter
address, or store the changes.

Assigning a Converter Address
The 6021 Control Unit can only put out the addresses
1 - 80. A converter address 1 - 80 must be assigned in
order to be able to Control locomotives with decoder
addresses greater than 80.
Example: A locomotive with a “programmable mm2
decoder“ is set for address 146. You can give this
locomotive a converter address (1 - 80) so that it can be
Controlled with the Control Unit.
With an mfx locomotive there is the advantage that
you do not have to delete the preset Motorola address
(if this address is already occupied). Instead, you can
also use this locomotive by assigning a free converter
address.
!A converter address may not be used for multiple
locomotives!
All converter addresses not in use are managed by
the Connect 6021 as standard Motorola addresses. All
locomotives with a Motorola address from 1 to 80 can
be Controlled from the Control Unit without changing
the converter address.
!Changing the converter address is not transmitted to
the locomotive decoder!

Keyboard
The Keyboard does not require an assignment. The
addresses on the Keyboard (1 - 256) are preset. You can
therefore Control turnouts immediately.
Memory
All of the routes previously entered into this Unit are un-
changed and still available for use. These routes can be
different from the routes entered in the Central Station,
but they cannot be transferred from the Memory to the
Central Station for Control of them in the latter Unit.
!All of the routes already entered in the Memory must
be expanded with the key sequence “extern“ and “A5“
in order to guarantee safe, reliable operation.
Example:
Malfunctions and Correction of Malfunctions
If the operation of the Connect 6021 is interrupted or if
there are malfunctions, do a reset at the Control Unit
and start again by pressing the “stop“ button on the
Central Station.

Vérifi er la version du logiciel de la Central Station
La version du logiciel utilisée devrait être égale ou
supérieure à la version 1.2.5 ; le cas échéant, il convient
d’effectuer au préalable une mise à jour.
Opérez comme suit au niveau de la Central Station
pour vérifi er la version du logiciel.
