INTRODUCTION
Congratulations on your purchase of the Marmitek BoomBoom 560.
This Bluetooth headphone allows you to play music from a sound
source that is equipped with Bluetooth technology without having to
connect the source using cables. This could involve a PC or a laptop
with a Bluetooth USB dongle, a mobile phone that supports
Bluetooth, an Android phone, an Android Tablet, an iPhone, an iPad
or a Mac.
The BoomBoom 560 has a range of about 10 metres, allowing you to
organise your music in the same room or in an adjoining room.

FIRST USE
The BoomBoom 560 has a built-in rechargeable battery.
We recommend completely charging the battery before using the
device for the first time. Connect the supplied USB cable to the
BoomBoom 560 and a PC, Mac or USB power adapter. The red LED
will light up.
The device may take up to 4 hours to charge for the first time. Once
the BoomBoom 560 battery is completely charged, the red LED will
switch off.

WEARING STYLE
Watch the left and right indications on the outside of the headband.
When wearing the BoomBoom 560, please make sure the Power
button is always on the right hand side.
Adjust the fit of the BoomBoom 560 by changing the length of the
headband near the ear pads.
The ear pads may be rotated 90 degrees, allowing you to easily carry
and store the BoomBoom 560.

PAIRING BLUETOOTH DEVICES (ONE-
OFF)
The BoomBoom 560 is able to remember up to 8 paired devices. As a
result it is not necessary to pair a device every time you connect it. If a
9th device is paired with the BoomBoom 560, the device which has
been originally paired with the BoomBoom 560 will be deleted from
its memory.
1. Make sure the BoomBoom 560 is turned off.
2. Press and hold the POWER [5] button for 7 seconds to put the
BoomBoom 560 in pairing mode. Release the POWER button as
soon as you hear two short ‘beep’ tones. The red and blue LED
will flash alternately.
3. Turn on a device that supports Bluetooth, such as an iPod,
iPhone, Android or mp3 player and go to: Settings > General >
Bluetooth. Click ON ‘Bluetooth’ and the BoomBoom 560 will
appear on the device. Click ON ‘BoomBoom 560’. The device is
now connected and paired with the headphone. If the device
prompts for a pairing code, enter:”0000”.
VOLUME CONTROL
1. Tap VOLUME+ [6] to increase the volume. When maximum
volume has been reached, a tone indicator will sound.
2. Tap VOLUME- [7] to decrease the volume. When minimal volume
has been reached, a tone indicator will sound.
3. Press Next [3] or Previous [2] to listen to the next/previous track.
TURNING OFF
Press and hold the power button for 4 seconds to turn off the
BoomBoom 560.
The headphones will turn off automatically after 10 minutes when no
device is connected to it.
The red LED will turn on and then slowly switch off.

TURNING ON
Press the POWER button for 5 seconds. The BoomBoom 560 will
produce a “beep” tone. The blue LED lights will start flashing rapidly.
The BoomBoom 560 will then automatically link to the last device it
was connected to. When connected, the blue LED lights will start to
flash at a slow rate. Only one device can be connected at the same
time to the BoomBoom 560. If your device does not connect
automatically, go to the device's Bluetooth settings and select the
BoomBoom 560. A connection will then be made.
CALL FEATURE
MAKING A CALL
When making a call from your mobile phone, the call will (depending
on the phone settings) be transferred to your headphone
automatically once a connection has been made.
ANSWERING A CALL
Press the power button [6] briefly to accept the call. The music will be
paused and the call will be transferred.
ENDING A CALL
Press the power button [6] briefly or end the call on your phone. The
music will continue to play automatically.
BATTERY RUNNING LOW
When the battery of the BoomBoom 560 is running low, you will hear
an audio warning. After 3 to 5 minutes the BoomBoom 560 will
automatically switch off. Follow the steps as described earlier to
recharge the battery.

CONNECTING WITH AN AUDIO
CABLE
The Bluetooth connection can be switched to a wired connection by
plugging the cable into the 3.5mm audio jack. This may be useful
when the battery has run out and you still want to use headphones.
Press and hold the power button for 4 seconds to turn OFF the
BoomBoom 560 if it is still on. Now, use the supplied audio cable to
connect the BoomBoom 560 to the headphones connector of your
audio source. It is not possible to use the function keys in the wired
connection mode. Simply detach the 3.5mm audio connector and
press the power button for 4 seconds to return to the Bluetooth
connection.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
I can’t connect my BoomBoom 560.
Check the following:
1. Ensure that the battery is fully charged.
2. Ensure that the Bluetooth function on your mobile telephone is
on (check your phone's manual for reference).
3. Ensure that the distance between your mobile phone and the
BoomBoom 560 is no greater than 10 metres and that there are
no large obstacles in the way.
Can I link numerous devices to my BoomBoom 560?
You can link up to 8 devices to your BoomBoom 560. If the
BoomBoom 560 is switched on, it will automatically connect to the
last connected device.

Herzlichen Glückwunsch zum Erwerb des Marmitek BoomBoom 560!
Mit diesem Bluetooth Kopfhörer können Sie über eine Bluetooth
fähige Tonquelle Musik abspielen, ohne die Quelle mit Kabeln
verbinden zu müssen. Das kann beispielsweise ein mit einem
Bluetooth USB Dongle versehener PC oder Laptop sein, ein Bluetooth
fähiges Mobiltelefon, Android Telefon, Android Tablet, iPhone, iPad
oder Mac.
Die Reichweite des BoomBoom 560 beträgt zirka 10 Meter, sodass Sie
Ihre Musik im gleichen oder angrenzenden Raum regeln können.

ERSTE VERWENDUNG
Der BoomBoom 560 ist mit einem eingebauten Akku versehen.
Wir empfehlen, den Akku vor erstmaligem Gebrauch vollständig zu
laden. Schließen Sie das enthaltene USB Kabel an den BoomBoom 560
und einen PC, Mac oder USB Speisungsadapter an. Die rote LED
leuchtet auf.
Der erste Ladevorgang kann max. 4 Stunden in Anspruch nehmen.
Die rote LED erlischt, wenn der Akku des BoomBoom 560 vollständig
aufgeladen ist.

KOPFHÖRER ANWENDUNG
Achten Sie auf die Anweisungen für links und rechts an der
Außenseite des Kopfbandes. Die Powertaste muss sich beim Tragen
des BoomBoom 560 immer rechtsseitig befinden.
Ändern Sie die Passform des BoomBoom 560, indem Sie die Länge des
Kopfbandes bei den Ohrmuscheln anpassen.
Die Ohrmuscheln können 90 Grad gedreht werden. So können Sie
den BoomBoom 560 bequem mitnehmen und verstauen.

EINMALIG BLUETOOTH GERÄTE
VERBINDEN
Der BoomBoom 560 kann bis zu 8 verbundene Geräte im
Datenspeicher speichern. Somit ist es nicht mehr nötig, bei jeder
Verbindung erneut zu verbinden. Wird ein 9. Gerät mit dem
BoomBoom 560 verbunden, dann wird das zuerst mit dem
BoomBoom 560 verbundene Gerät aus dem Speicher gelöscht
werden.
1. Schalten Sie den BoomBoom 560 aus.
2. Halten Sie die POWER [5] Taste 7 Sekunden lang fest, um den
BoomBoom 560 in die Verbindungsstellung zu schalten. Lassen
Sie die POWER Taste los, wenn Sie 2 kurze Pieptöne hören. Die
rote und blaue LED blinken abwechselnd
3. Schalten Sie ein Gerät ein, das Bluetooth unterstützt, wie iPod,
iPhone, Android oder MP3-Gerät und gehen Sie zu den:
Einstellungen > Allgemein > Bluetooth. Klicken Sie Bluetooth AN.
BoomBoom 560 erscheint nun auf dem Gerät. Klicken Sie
BoomBoom 560 AN. Das Gerät ist nun verbunden und an Ihren
Kopfhörer gekoppelt. Geben Sie ”0000” ein, wenn das Gerät
einen Pairing Code benötigt.
LAUTSTÄRKEREGELUNG
1. Tippen Sie auf VOLUME+ [6] , um die Lautstärke zu erhöhen.
Nach Erreichen der maximalen Lautstärke erklingt ein Tonsignal.
2. Tippen Sie auf VOLUME- [7] , um die Lautstärke zu verringern.
Nach Erreichen der Mindestlautstärke erklingt ein Tonsignal.
3. Drücken Sie auf Folgende [3] und Vorige [2], um den
nächsten/vorigen Titel zu hören.
AUSSCHALTEN
Drücken Sie 4 Sek. lang die Powertaste, um den BoomBoom 560
auszuschalten.
Der Kopfhörer geht nach 10 Minuten von selbst aus, wenn kein Gerät
verbunden ist.
Die rote LED schaltet sich ein und erlischt langsam.

EINSCHALTEN
Drücken Sie 5 Sek. lang die Power Taste. Der BoomBoom 560 erzeugt
nun einen “Biep“ Ton. Die blaue LED Beleuchtung beginnt nun
schnell zu blinken. Nun wird der BoomBoom 560 automatisch
Verbindung zum zuletzt verwendeten Gerät an das er gekoppelt war,
aufnehmen. Sobald diese Verbindung hergestellt ist, wird die blaue
LED langsam blinken. Sie können nur 1 Gerät zugleich mit dem
BoomBoom 560 verbinden. Gehen Sie zu den Bluetooth Einstellungen
des Geräts, wenn die automatische Verbindung mit Ihrem Gerät
misslingt und rufen Sie den BoomBoom 560 auf. Nun wird eine
Verbindung hergestellt werden.
ANRUFFUNKTION
GESPRÄCHE FÜHREN
Wenn Sie ein Gespräch auf Ihrem Handy führen, wird das Gespräch
(abhängig von den Telefoneinstellungen) bei Verbindung
automatisch auf Ihrem Kopfhörer übermittelt.
GESPRÄCHE BEANTWORTEN
Drücken Sie kurz auf die Powertaste [5], um ein Gespräch
anzunehmen. Die Musik wird pausiert und das Gespräch wird
durchgestellt.
GESPRÄCHE BEENDEN
Drücken Sie kurz die Powertaste [5], um das Gespräch zu beenden.
Die Musik beginnt wieder zu spielen.
BATTERIE FAST LEER
Sie hören ein Warnsignal, wenn die Batterie des BoomBoom 560 fast
leer ist. 3 bis 5 Minuten später wird der BoomBoom 560 automatisch
ausgeschaltet. Laden Sie die Batterie gemäß obiger Beschreibung
erneut auf.

VERBINDEN ÜBER EIN AUDIOKABEL
Anstelle einer Bluetooth Verbindung kann über einen Anschluss an
den 3,5mm Audioanschluss eine Kabelverbindung hergestellt werden.
Das ist praktisch, wenn die Batterie leer ist und Sie dennoch einen
Kopfhörer verwenden möchten. Drücken Sie 4 Sek. lang die
Powertaste, um den BoomBoom 560 auszuschalten, falls dieser noch
eingeschaltet ist. Schließen Sie den BoomBoom 560 nun über das
enthaltene Audiokabel an den Kopfhöreranschluss Ihrer Audioquelle
an. Die Funktionstasten können im verkabelten Verbindungsmodus
nicht verwendet werden. Entkoppeln Sie einfach den 3,5 mm
Audioanschluss und drücken Sie 4 Sek. lang die Power Taste, um zur
Bluetooth-Verbindung zurückzukehren.
HÄUFIG GESTELLTE FRAGEN
Ich kann meinen BoomBoom 560 nicht verbinden.
Achten Sie auf Nachfolgendes:
1. Überprüfen Sie, ob die Batterie geladen ist.
2. Überprüfen Sie, ob die Bluetooth Funktion auf Ihrem
Mobiltelefon eingeschaltet ist. (ziehen Sie die
Gebrauchsanleitung Ihres Mobiltelefons zurate).
3. Halten Sie einen Abstand von weniger als 10 Metern zwischen
Mobiltelefon und BoomBoom 560 ohne große, im Weg stehende
Hindernisse ein.
Kann ich mehrere Geräte mit meinem BoomBoom 560
verbinden?
Es können bis zu 8 Geräte mit Ihrem BoomBoom 560 verbunden
werden. Wenn der BoomBoom 560 eingeschaltet wird, wird er
automatisch die zuletzt verwendete Gegenstelle verbinden.
