UHF BOOSTER for Home Use
Read this Instruction Manual carefully before use.
MASPRO's latest super low noise UHF booster
has 2-way distribution circuit so that two TV sets
can be connected.

Safety Precautions

●
Use only 220V AC power supply. Using the
Booster with a different voltage power supply
could cause fire or electrical shock.
●
Do not put the Booster in a poorly ventilated
place. The Booster will overheat and may
cause fire. Do not use in the following ways:
·Pushing the Booster into a poorly ventilated
place such as closet, bookcase or just under
a ceiling.
·Covering with a table cloth. Placing on a
carpet or bedding.
·Covering or wrapping with a cloth or bedding.
●
When you hear thunder, do not touch any
lead-in cable from the TV antenna. It may
cause electrical shock.
●
Never let water come into contact with the
Booster. Do not use them in the bathroom.
Do not put medicine or fluid matter on them.
If liquid material gets into them, they will
cause fire or electrical shock. Do not let your
pets climb on them. If their urine or droppings
get into them, they will also cause fire or
electrical shock.
●
Do not plug or unplug the Booster when your
hand is wet. It may cause electrical shock.
●
Set the AC plug at the place where you can
easily unplig it.
●
When the Booster is not in use for a long
time, be sure to unplug the Booster from the
wall outlet for safety. Not doing so may
cause fire.

2mm Remove every debris, such as chips of the braided
wires, in the connector shell. Even a piece of braid
debris can cause short circuit when it touches the center
conductor, then no picture appears on the TV screen.
●
Use F-type connectors to join the lead-in cable and the booster.
●
To prevent incomplete contact or short circuit, install the plug with care.
●
Use F-type connectors properly-fitted to the cable provided.
If the center conductor is too long, the
terminal part of the F-type connector at
the unit side will be damaged and
cause malfunction.

If wiper phenomenon (vertical bars wiping back
and forth across the screen) occurs, turn the
appropriate gain control knob counterclockwise
until it disappears.
Maximum booster gain is reached when the
knob is turned fully clockwise.

Straighten the center conductor
When used near an AM radio, the booster may generate noise
in the radio. Use the unit as far apart from the radio as possible.
Attention
