VOORZORGSMAATREGELEN
Geachte klant,
De zojuist gekochte ijsmachine kan door uzelf worden geïnstalleerd en bediend, zonder hulp van
een technicus, door deze "bedieningshandleiding" aandachtig te lezen.
Maar u kunt ook vragen om installatie, hulp of advies van bevoegd personeel van de verkoper
waar u dit product heeft gekocht. Deze ijsmachine is een Grieks product en is vervaardigd door
Master Frost met zijn hoofdkantoor in Lamia-Griekenland.
Houdt er ook rekening mee dat u altijd moet vragen om het europese conformiteitsmerk conform
E.U. Richtlijnen – en fabrikantelementen.

INSTALLATIE
De stroomtoevoer waaraan de machine wordt aangesloten moet voorzien zijn van een zekering
van minimaal 10 amp.
De zekering voor ijsblokjesmachine
C-250/C-400/C-600 moet zijn: 10 Amps
Mors of giet nooit water op uw machine of op
de stroomkabel.
Plaats de machine niet in kleine, nauwe ruimtes
die verhinderen dat er voldoende frisse lucht in
en uit de luchtcirculatieopening kan stromen.
Houd altijd een afstand in acht van 25-30 cm in
de buurt van de luchtcirculatie-openingen
Plaats de machine nooit in de buurt van een
warmtebron.
De omgevingstemperatuur mag nooit boven de
32°C of onder de 10°C komen.
Als uw machine in een omgevingstemperatuur boven de 42°C komt en dan afwisselend
start en stopt, bestaat een gerede kans dat de compressor
onherstelbaar beschadigd raakt.

INSTALLATIE
In de plastic zak vindt u alles wat u nodig heeft om de Master Frost te installeren.
Til een kant van de ijsblokjesmachine ongeveer 25 cm van de grond en monteer de
voetjes. Doe dan hetzelfde met de andere kant.
Aan de achterkant van de machine vindt u de water- en afvoeraansluiting.
Plaats de ene opening van de afvoerslang op de afvoeraansluiting van de machine en de
andere opening in de afvoerpijp.
De aanvoerslang moet aangesloten worden op de wateraansluiting.
Maar eerst moeten beide moeren van een rubber ring worden voorzien
(er zitten twee rubbertjes in de plastic zak).
Hierna het ene uiteinde aan de ijsblokjesmachine koppelen en het andere uiteinde aan de
watertoevoerkraan.
Open tenslotte de kraan en laat het water naar binnen stromen.
Steek nu de stekker van de stroomkabel in het geaarde stopcontact.
In de machine, nu gevuld met kraanwater, begint na twee minuten de vries-cyclus.
Als de cyclus na de 2 min niet start, kan de volgende handeling worden uitgevoerd.
Til het bovendeksel op en giet ½ liter water aan de linker- of rechterkant langs de witte
bovenplaat bij de inkepingen. De cyclus zou binnen een paar minuten moeten beginnen.
Zet de ijsblokjesmachine zo neer dat de aansluiting op de afvoer lager staat dan de
waterafvoer van de machine.

WERKING
De fabriek heeft de ijsblokjesmachine zo afgesteld dat de machine na de installatie direct
functioneert. Maar hieronder leest u hoe de installateur andere afstellingen kan uitvoeren.
ZOEK DE AFSTELLINGSSCHAKELAARS OP
• Trek het voorpaneel van de machine omhoog waarna de afstellingsschakelaars zichtbaar
worden.
• Zoek het type schroef met de getallen er omheen. Deze schakelaar maakt het mogelijk
om het formaat van de blokjes te wijzigingen.
• Als u de schroef met een schroevendraaier naar rechts draait wordt het volume groter en
als u naar links draait wordt het kleiner. Het minimum gewicht bedraagt
10 gram en het maximum gewicht 32 gram.
Voer de afstellingen niet te grof uit. Als dit bij naar links draaien gebeurt, stopt de
machine. Als dit naar rechts gebeurt, veroorzaakt het de vorming van één grote ijsmassa.
Als het laatste gebeurt, moet u de machine uitzetten en afwachten tot het ijs smelt. Zorg
er voor bij iedere afstellingswijziging van de vries-cyclus dat dit geleidelijk gebeurd tot u
de gewenste afmeting heeft verkregen.
• Naast de bovengenoemde schroefschakelaar is er nog een andere schroefschakelaar,
waarmee de opslag-capaciteit van de ijsblokjes kan worden gewijzigd. Draaien naar
rechts vergroot de capaciteit terwijl naar links draaien de capaciteit kleiner maakt.
• De ijsmachine stopt zijn werk wanneer het ijs het punt bereikt dat u wenst en begint weer
als een hoeveelheid ijsblokjes eruit zijn gehaald.
NOOIT DOEN! proberen de rode schakelaar af te stellen.
Dit is de timer waarvan de afstelling nooit veranderd hoeft te worden.

TIPS
Voor een goede werking van uw ijsblokjesmachine moet u de condensor iedere maand met een
kwastje of borsteltje schoonmaken. Reinig het alleen met op en neer bewegingen!!
VOORDAT U WERKZAAMHEDEN AAN DE MASTER FROST VERRICHT MOET U DE
STEKKER UIT HET STOPCONTACT NEMEN!!
Om de water-opslag, verdeler en sproeiers te reinigen: til de bovendeksel eraf en haal dan de
deur eruit. Haal nu de houder met witte strips omhoog. Hierachter is de wateropslag. Haal het
rooster eruit. Plaats uw handen onder de sproeiasverdeler en til die eerst op. Draai hem 60
graden om en haal hem voorzichtig eruit. Op deze wijze koppelt u de pijp van de verdeler los
van de pomppijp. Nu kunt u de ijsblokjesmachine reinigen. Houdt ook rekening met de sproeiers
op de verdeler. Haal ze eraf en borstel ze schoon met een tandenborstel of water gemengd met
azijn. Ga behoedzaam te werk wanneer u ze op de verdeler aanbrengt. Ze dienen parallel aan
elkaar te worden geplaatst. (Zie afbeelding).
De ijsmachine is ontworpen voor het produceren van ijsblokjes en niet voor het bewaren van
vruchten of flessen en in het algemeen van voedingsmiddelen of dranken. Zo kunnen bladen van
vruchten of etiketten van flessen het afvoersysteem verstoppen.
Wanneer uw ijsmachine slecht functioneert, raadpleeg dan eerst "storingen".
Als u hier niets mee bereikt, roep dan de hulp in van bevoegd personeel.
De fabrikant adviseert een waterontharder aan te brengen voor de waterinvoer als het gebruikte
leidingwater hard is.
Indien het uw bedoeling is de ijsblokjesmachine periodiek te gebruiken, is het raadzaam bij
een langdurige periode van rust de volgende procedure te volgen: het apparaat te reinigen, de
stroomaanvoer af te sluiten en lucht in het pomp-gedeelte te blazen, teneinde al het water uit dat
gedeelte te verwijderen.
De ijsblokjesmachine kan het best verticaal vervoerd worden. Kan dit niet en wordt de machine
in een andere positie vervoerd dan moet u de machine minimaal twee uur verticaal laten staan
alvorens de machine weer aan te zetten.
Voorkom elektrische schokken en sluit de machine met de juiste stroomkabels aan op een geaard
stopcontact.
Ruim na installatie alle plastic zakken op zodat ze uit de handen van kinderen blijven.
Let op dat kinderen niet met de ijsblokjesmachine kunnen spelen.

STORINGEN
VOORDAT U WERKZAAMHEDEN AAN DE MASTER FROST VERRICHT MOET U DE STEKKER
UIT HET STOPCONTACT NEMEN!!
DE IJSBLOKJESMACHINE WERKT NIET.
• Stekker controleren/stroom uitgevallen?
MACHINE WERKT MAAR PRODUCEERT GEEN IJSBLOKJES / IJS SMELT IN DE OPSLAG.
• Controleer het rooster. Het kan verschoven zijn waardoor het ijs niet in de opslag valt maar in
de wateropslag blijft (achter de witte lamellen). Til de strips een beetje op en plaats het rooster
correct.
• Controleer de waterafvoer, misschien komt het water terug naar de opslag en laat het ijs
smelten. Indien dat zo is, installeer de machine hoger dan de afvoer.
DE GEPRODUCEERDE IJSBLOKJES ZIJN TE KLEIN OF SLECHT GEVORMD.
• Maak de verdeler en de sproeiers schoon. (Zie verder tips in deze handleiding)
• Maak met behulp van een borstel de condensor schoon door op en neer te vegen.
• Controleer de omgevingstemperatuur van de machine. Als die boven de 42°C is moet men de
omgevingstemperatuur verlagen of de ijsblokjesmachine elders plaatsen.

PRECAUTIONS
Dear valued customer,
The icemaker, you just bought, is possible to be installed and operate, by yourself without any
help of a technician, only by reading carefully this "operating manual".
But you can also ask for installation, help or be advised by authorized personnel from the
merchandiser you bought this product. This icemaker is a Greek product and has been
manufactured form Master Frost having its principal office in Lamia-Greece.
Please also consider that you must always ask for the European Conformities
mark-compliance with E.U. directives – and manufacturer elements.

INSTALLATION
The power supply will be connected with the icemaker MUST have its own fuse as you in figure 1.
The fuse must be:
For the icemakers C-250/C-400/C-600 10 Amps
Do not pour water on your icemaker or the
power cord
Do not install the devise in small and narrow
places that impede the free airflow IN and OUT
of the air - duct. Always leave 25-30cm. distance
from the air – duct of your icemaker before put
anything that prevents airflow.
Do not ever install your icemaker near heat
sources.
The ambient working temperature MUST not
exceed 32 Celsius nor underneath 10 Celsius.
If your icemaker works in a warm ambient temperature over 42 Celsius and starts
and stops within few seconds, then there is a risk of destroying your compressor.

INSTALLATION
Inside the plastic bag you should find everything you need to start produce ice…
Lift the icemaker from one side, about 25 cm from the ground, and place its feet. Same
do from other side.
Back of the icemaker you will find an inlet and outlet water.
Place one side of granular pipe in outlet in outlet of icemaker and the other side to the
drain of store –home.
The other pipe, which have bolt in each side, is to be connected to the inlet of water. But
first place in each bolt a rubber insulator (there are 2 rubbers in plastic bag).
After that connect on side to inlet of icemaker and the other side to tap.
Lastly allow inlet of water (open the tap) and then connect the power cord to plug.
Now the apparatus will be supplied with tap water and after 2 min will start the cycle.
If the cycle does not start after the 2 min then the following operation can be performed.
Lift the top lid and poor ½ of liter water on the left or right side along the white top plate
at the notches. The cycle should start within a few minutes.
Do not place icemaker in position that allows the drain to be higher from outlet of water.

OPERATION
Your icemaker has been adjusted from the factory to function after installation, without any other
need of technician. But here you’ll find how to make adjustment to your icemaker. Please note the
adjustments are so easy to be done without the need of technical knowledge.
FIND THE ADJUSTMENT SWITCHES
• Pull up the front cover of device and the adjustment switches will be appear.
• Find the screw type with the numbers around it. This switch enables the fluctuation of the
size ice size.
• With a screwdriver turn the switch right for increasing volume in each ice piece.
Or turn it left to decrease volume in each ice peace.
Minimum weight 10 grams and max 32 grams.
Do not fluctuate marginal the adjustments, on left end position the icemaker stops to
function. On right end position the icemaker will make a big mass of ice.
If such thing happened you must stop the icemaker and wait till the ice melts.
Or you can make the ice melt quicker by boiling eater and pour it on top of icemaker,
after you take off first the top cover. So please make adjustments gradually per working
cycle, till you will be satisfied with the size of ice.
• Near the switch we mentioned there is another screw type switch. Through this switch is
possible to make adjustments with the storage capacity. Same turn right for increase the
capacity and left for decreasing the capacity of your icemaker storage.
• The icemaker stops working when ice reaches the point you wish and starts again when a
quantity of ice will be taken.
DO NOT! Try to adjust the red switch.
This is a timer and never needs adjustment.

TIPS
For having best performance of your icemaker, you should clean once a month its condenser,
mostly in summer time. The condenser is behind the front cover. Clean it with UP and DOWN
movements ONLY!! Do not supply your icemaker with water from a tanker, which is exposed to
the sun.
BEFORE WORKING ON THE MASTER FROST YOU MUST UNPLUG THE POWER CORD!!
For cleaning the water storage, distributor and sprayers: First lift off the top cover, then take of the
door. Now pull up the white flags. Behind the flags is the water storage.
Take off the sliding conveyor. Place your hands down of distributor and lift it first. Rotate it 60
degrees and pull it out gently in such way, so you will disconnect the distributors pipe from
pumps pipe.
Now you can clean the icemaker. Please also consider the sprayers, which are on distributor. Take
them off and clean them by brushing with toothbrush or mix water vinegar. Be careful when you
are going to connect them in the distributor, you must put in such way to be parallel in to each
other.
Then icemaker has been designed for producing ice and not as storage to preserve fruits or
bottles or in general to preserve foods, drinks. For example leaves from fruit or etiquettes from
bottles could obstruct the drainage system.
In situation of malfunction of your icemaker, first refer to trouble shootings. If nothing performed
after troubleshooting guiding, please ask for assistance by authorized personnel.
We suggest installing before inlet of water a softener in case the supplied water in hard. The
softener could be a mechanical filter.
If you intent to use your icemaker periodically, through seasons, it is better to follow procedure of
cleaning the device, plus stop power supply and blow air in pump circuit,
in order to remove all water from pump circuit.
In case you need to transport your icemaker it’s better to place it’s at its feet. If this is not possible
and the ice maker is transported by other means, leave it in its feet for 2 hours after transport
before using it.
Electrical safety against shock, is clearly bind with the appropriate connect it on icemakers power
cord to an efficient earthling system. Be sure before installation there is an efficient earth system.
After installation destroy any plastic bag, that could cause suffocation to a child.
Do not leave a child to reach the icemaker with the intent to play with it.

TROUBLE SHOOTINGS
BEFORE WORKING ON THE MASTER FROST YOU MUST UNPLUG THE POWER CORD!!
THE ICEMAKER DOESN’T WORK
• Check plug/power failure?
THE ICEMAKER WORKS BUT IT DOESN’T PRODUCE ICE/OR IS MELTING IN THE
STORAGE
• Check the sliding conveyor. It might have remove from its position and prevent ice to fall in the storage
by keeping it in the Water storage (behind flags). Light sliding conveyor slightlyto up step of water
storage.
• Check the drain, maybe the water comes back to storage and melts the ice. If so, you must install
icemaker higher from drain.
THE PRODUCING ICE IS UNFORMED/BAD SHAPE
• You must clean the distributor and sprayers. (See TIPS in this manual)
• Lift the front cover of device and with the brush cleans with UP and DOWN movements only the
condenser (The component it is first to your disposal).
• Check the working temperature of icemaker. If it is over 42 Celsius, you have to decrease the ambient
working temperature, or install icemaker somewhere else.
