OPERATION
Once
your sliding tile saw is completely assembled, we suggest
to
get the
water tray
and
laser guide s~tup properly beforeattempting
to
operate.
WATER
PUMPWATER
SUPPLY
Warning! To prevent excessive wear on
the
blade,
make
sure to maintain
a
continuousflow of water on the blade duraing all operations. Never
cut
a
tile
without continuous
water
flow?
Warning!
Make
sure the power cord is positioned to remain dry during
operations.Severe personal injury
or
death can occur
if
the power
cord
or the
operatorof the tile
saw
should
become
wet.
1)
Make
sure
the
water pump is plugged
to
the quick-connectplug
attached
to
the motor and that the water hose
is
properly cannected tothewater pump.
2)
Positionthe
pump
so
that it
does
not interferewith the motion of the sliding
table while cutting.
3)
Fill the water tray with enough water
so
that the pump is completely
submerged, but nottoo much
so
that the water
tray
overflows.
4) Plugthe power
cord
into
a
power
source,
turn
the
tile
saw
on and noticethe
rate
of
water flow. If it
water
flow
seems
insufficientor too much, the water
flow
can be adjusted
by
the pump flow
gauge

OPERATlON AND
ADJUSTMENT
Warning?
Do
not stare directly intothe laser beam.
1.
Mark
the
line
of
the
cut
on
the tile.
2.
Turn
on
the laser guide system
by
pressingthe red
switch
(A)

the line of cut on
the
tile
with
the
laserguide
beam.
3.
Plug
in
the machine and
start
the motor.
4.
When the blade
is
at its maximum speed
(approx.
2
sec.)
slide the table
towards the blade.
5.
After completion,
switch
ofl
the laser
guide
system and the motor
and
wait
for
the
blade
to
come
to
a
complete
stop.
The laser guide system supplied with your tile
saw
is
battery operat4
(2
AAA
batteries
supplied). Only turn on the laser guide system only
after
you
have
placed
or are
aboutto place
a
workpiece on the table.
To
changethe batteries:
1.
Removethe lases batterysnap-on
cover.
2.
Replace
both
AAA
batteries.
3.
Reptace
the battery
cover.

OPERATIONIMAINTENANCE
Cutting
Tiles:
1.
Placethe markedtile an the table
and
brace
it
againstthe rear
of
the table. Turn an laserguide and alignthe cut markwith the laser beam.
2.
Once
the tile
saw
has
been
turned on, allow the bladeto
speed
up
to
full speed.
Make
sure
that
the
pump issupplying
a
continuous flow of
water
to
the blade.
3.
Keepingyour handsclear of the blade,
slfde
the table and the tile towardsthe blade.Feedthe tile intothe
blade
very
slowly.
Do
notforce
it.
If the rotationalfeed of
the
bladeslows down significantly,then you are forcing the tile.
4. While cutting, make sure the blade remainswet. If
tt
runsdry, check the action of the pump
and
water
levelof
the
water tray.
5.
If the motor stops suddenly, flip the power switch to the "off" position. Check power supply includingthe circuit breaker, wait approximately
15
minutes and pushthe reset button.

the first tile to the correct dimensions,allowing space tor grout.

Placethe hooked portion

the table, on the side
of
the cutting groove
where you haveplaced
the
part
of the markedtile that you intendto

will
be
parallel
to
the tile
and
perpendicularto the
fence.
4. Slidethe rip guide alongthefence untilit abuts thetile, makingsurethat the mark
on
your tile remains in linewith the laser
beam
and blade.
5.
Tightenthe rip guide knob.
6.
When you are satisfiedthat the tile is alignedwith the laser
beam
and
the blade,
and the rip guide is in place,
and
it is safe to
do
so,
turn on the tile
saw.
Cut the
tile
as
describedin previous instructions.
7.
Make
sure
that
the rile
has
been cut to proper dimensions before
using
the rip
guide
to cut
your
other tiles. Periodicallytest the fit of
each
tile
as
you continue
cutting,to
be
sure the rip guide has not
moved.
