• Height adjustment: Single lever 5 position height
adjustment. From .8” to 2.8”. Pull lever to desired height
to mow the grass. see (Figure 7):
• Deflector Installation: see (Figure 8)
Note: The product has two functions for grass-cutting: cut the grass
and discharge it through the deflector; cut and chop the grass, then
mulch the ground with the chopped grass.
• If the mulching function is not required, the deflector should be
mounted on the base component (see Figure 8). The deflector
should point to the direction of the mowed lawn, in order to keep the
discharging smooth during the mowing process. When mowing high
and dense grass, the operator should often observe the discharging
effect, and stop or slow down the moving speed if poor discharging
is found, should not proceed until the high-speed air flow blows all
cut grass away. If the deflector is completely blocked, the engine
should be turned off right away and the discharging door needs to
be cleared up.
• If the mulching function is required, the deflector should be
removed from the base component and the discharging door should
be covered to achieve the mulching purpose (see Figure 8). The
engine must be off when operating.
