Die Ausrüstungen, aus welchen die verschiedenen in diesem Dokument beschriebenen Konfigurationen aufgebaut
werden, entsprechen folgenden EG–Richtlinien:

Characteristics
•Dimensions: see Plate A–I.

•Power supply from:
the supplied battery pack,
an external power supply unit (voltage: 5 V ±5%, max. current: 2 A)
a charger or a car or desktop adapter.
•Operating temperature range for operation (extreme conditions): from –30°C
to 60°C.
•Temperature range for storing the battery pack: the battery pack life depends
on the storage temperature:
between –20oC and +35oC: one year,
between –35oC and +40oC: 6 months,
between –40oC and +50oC: 30 days.
CAUTION: The battery pack is irreversibly damaged, if the storage
temperature is above 50oC.

SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
Antenna
•The antenna must not be bended with an angle greater than 90 o.
Pack battery
•The pack battery must not be:
short–circuited,
dismantled,
thrown into fire,
exposed to high temperatures (> to 60°C/140°F).
•Use appropriate collectors for worn pack batteries.
INSTALLATION (see Plate A–I)
Belt clip (option)
•Insert the belt clip (item 2) in the battery pack (item 1).
Battery pack
•Align the six battery pack tabs (item 9) with the six handportable slots (item 8).
Insert the tabs in the slots.
•Slide the battery pack (item 1) until it is locked inside.
•To remove the battery pack: press the unlocking button (item 3) and withdraw
the battery pack.
Antenna
•Make sure the seal (item 5) is installed on the tip of the antenna (item 6).
•Screw the antenna on the handportable antenna connector (item 4).
•Gently tighten the antenna.
Note: To be operational, the G2 handportable must be charged, configured and
personalized with the TPS.

STARTING UP / SHUTTING DOWN
Switching on (see Plate A–II)
•Turn the left selector (the front panel must be facing the user) and adjust the
volume.

first time and every six months.

press the “MENU” button,
press 3 times on the “ ▼” button to select the “METERS” function,
press the “OK” button twice:
the battery pack charge level is displayed as a percentage (ranging from
100% for a full battery to 0% for an empty battery).
Note: For the Smart model, the “MENU” + “4” + “1” sequence also allows the
battery pack charge level to be displayed.
Switching OFF
•Turn the selector until it reaches the “ ” position (mechanical stop).

PRESCRIPTIONS DE SÉCURITÉ
Antenne
•L’antenne ne doit pas être pliée au delà d’un angle de 90°.
Pack batterie
•Le pack batterie ne doit pas être :
court–circuité,
désassemblé,
jeté au feu,
exposé à de haute température (> à 60 °C/140 °F).
•Utiliser des collecteurs appropriés pour les packs batteries usagés.
INSTALLATION (voir Planche A–I)
Clip ceinture (optionnel)
•Engager le clip ceinture (repère 2) sur le pack batterie (repère 1).
Pack batterie
•Aligner et insérer les six ergots (repère 9) du pack batterie avec les six
encoches (repère 8) du boîtier portatif.
•Pousser le pack batterie (repère 1) jusqu’à obtenir son verrouillage.
•Pourretirerlepackbatterie:appuyersurleboutondedéverrouillage(repère3)
et extraire le pack batterie.
Antenne
•S’assurer de la présence du joint (repère 5) sur l’extrémité de l’antenne
(repère 6).
•Visser l’antenne sur le connecteur antenne du boîtier (repère 4).
•Serrer modérément l’antenne.
Nota : Pour être opérationnel le portatif G2 doit être chargé, configuré et
personnalisé au moyen de la TPS.

MISE EN SERVICE/HORS SERVICE
Mise en service (voir Planche A–II)
•Tourner le sélecteur gauche (portatif face à soi) et adapter le volume sonore.
Mise en service et réglage
du volume sonore Position arrêt mise hors tension
ATTENTION :À la première mise en service et tous les 6 mois, la batterie
nécessite de subir trois cycles de décharge complète /
charge maximale pour pouvoir restituer ses capacités
nominales .
Contrôle du niveau de charge du pack batterie (modèles
Easy+ et Smart)
Le niveau de charge du pack batterie peut être consulté de deux manières :
•directement sur l’afficheur par les icônes affichées :

le niveau de charge du pack batterie est affiché sous la forme d’un
pourcentage (de 100% pour un pack batterie chargé à 0% pour un pack
batterie vide).
Nota : Sur le modèle Smart la séquence de touches “MENU” + “4” + “1” permet
également d’afficher le niveau de charge du pack batterie.
Mise hors tension
•Tourner le sélecteur jusqu’en butée mécanique : position “ ”.

Características
•Dimensiones: véase el Plano A–I.

•Alimentación:
mediante el pack batería suministrado,
mediante una alimentación externa (tensión: 5 V ±5%,
corriente máx.: 2 A),
mediante un cargador o adaptador de oficina o de vehículo.
•Temperaturas exteriores de funcionamiento (condiciones extremas):
de –30 oC a +60 oC.
•Temperaturas de almacenamiento del pack batería: la duración de vida en
almacenamiento del pack batería depende de la temperatura de
almacenamiento:
entre –20 oC y +35 oC: la duración de vida es de 1 año,
entre –35 oC y +40 oC: la duración de vida es de 6 meses,
entre –40 oC y +50 oC: la duración de vida es de 30 días.
CUIDADO: Si la temperatura de almacenamiento es superior a +50 oC,
los daños sufridos por el pack batería son irreversibles.

PRESCRIPCIONES DE SEGURIDAD
Antena
•La antena no se debe doblar a más de 90o.
Pack batería
•El pack batería no se debe:
poner en cortocircuito,
desmontar,
tirar al fuego,
exponer a temperaturas elevadas (> a 60 °C/140 °F).
•Utilizar colectores apropiados para los packs batería usados.
INSTALACIÓN (véase el Plano A–I)
Clip de cintura (opción)
•Introducir el clip de cintura (marca 2) en el pack batería (marca).
Pack batería
•Presentarlasseisespigas(marca9)delpackbateríafrentealasseismuescas
(marca 8) de la caja del portátil e introducirlas.
•Empujar el pack batería (marca 1) hasta que se bloquee.
•Para retirar el pack batería, pulsar el botón de desbloqueo (marca 3) y extraer
el pack batería.
Antena
•Controlar que la junta (marca 5) esté presente en el extremo de la antena
(marca 6).
•Atornillar la antena sobre el conector antena de la caja (marca 4).
•Apretar moderadamente.
Nota: Para ser operacional, el portátil G2 debe estar cargado, configurado y
personalizado mediante la TPS.

PUESTA EN SERVICIO/FUERA DE SERVICIO
Puesta en servicio (véase el Plano A–II)
•Girar el selector izquierdo (posicionando el portátil hacia el usuario) y adaptar
el volumen.
Puesta en servicio y ajuste del
volumen Posición parada
CUIDADO: A la primera puesta en servicio y cada 6 meses, se deben
efectuar tres ciclos de descarga completa/carga máxima
para que la batería pueda suministrar sus capacidades
nominales.
Control del nivel de carga del pack batería (modelos Easy+ y
Smart)
El nivel de carga del pack batería se puede conocer de dos maneras:
•directamente en la visualización con los iconos presentados:
Iconos no parpadeantes
Nivel de carga
Plena
carga Carga reducida
Icono parpadeante:
carga muy reducida

•a partir del mensaje de bienvenida mediante la sucesión de teclas siguiente:
pulsar la tecla “ MENU ”,
pulsar tres veces la tecla “ ▼ ” para seleccionar la función
“ CONTADORES ”,
pulsar dos veces la tecla “ OK ”:
el nivel de carga del pack batería se visualiza en forma de porcentaje (del
100% para un pack batería cargado al 0% para un pack batería vacío).
Nota: en el modelo Smart, la sucesión de teclas “ MENU ” + “ 4 ” + “ 1 ” también
permite visualizar el nivel de carga del pack batería.
Puesta fuera de tensión
•Girar el selector hasta el tope mecánico: posición “ ”.
