5 Pin Midi In/Out - Use
this jack to connect to
devices that use the
traditional 5 pin midi
connector. The jack can
be internally set to be an
In or Out connection
with dip switches. Default
set to output.
Midi In/Out - These take
a trs 3.5mm cable to
send/receive midi
messages.
9v - 9V DC power supply required.
Takes a standard boss style barrel plug.
Control Jack - Use this as a expression
input or program it to be 3 additional
switches which can be used as extra
patches, bank up/down or Tap/Switch.
Utility Jack - Use this
jack to send analog tap
tempo signals to control
your analog devices
that take tap tempo.
Can also operate as a
programable switch
with triggers on the Tip
and Ring connections.
Screen - This displays the
name of the patches
available in each bank
and also lets you access
the Futurist’s menus.
Led’s - These indicate what
the last patch selected was.
Switch 2 - press to
activate the second
patch of each bank.
While in menu this switch
is your back button and
can be used to move out
of menus.
Switch 3- press to activate
the third patch of each bank.
Hold to bank up. While in menu
this switch will shift your selection
to the right.
Switch 4 - press to activate
the fourth patch of each
bank. Press Sw1 + Sw4 to
enter the main menu. While
in menu this switch operates
as your “Select” button.
Switch 1 -
Press to activate the first patch of each
bank. Hold to bank down. Press Sw1 + Sw4
to enter the menu.While in menu this
switch will shift your selection to the left.
