SSB-3WB Quick Start Connecon Guide
This Quick Start Guide assumes that the SoundDeck has been removed from its carton, properly
posioned in place, and is ready to be connected to the source device. For more detailed
instrucons, please refer to the SoundDeck User Manual.
Step 1 – Acvate the SmartRemote Control
•Remove the protecve plasc insulator tab from the remote control’s baery compartment.
Step 2 – Connect AC Power to the SoundDeck
* Be sure to push the power cord
firmly into the AC socket on the
rear of the SoundDeck.

Step 3 – Connect the SoundDeck to the Source Device
Connect using an Opcal cable
•Connect the Opcal Output on the Source device (AV equipment) to the
Opcal Input on the SoundDeck using the provided opcal cable.
•The video must now be connected to the TV usingonly one of the following
two connecon opons:
oConnect the Composite Video Out (Yellow) on the Source device to the
Video Line In (Yellow) on the TV using a single RCA-RCA (Yellow) video
cable (not provided)…
- OR-
oConnect the Component Video Ouptuts (Green, Blue, Red) on the Source
device to the Component Video Inputs (Green, Blue, Red) on the TV
using a component video cable assembly (not provided).
IMPORTANT: Be sure all cable connecons are seated properly
and all connectors are pressed firmly into their sockets.

Connect using RCA Stereo L-R Audio Cables (Red/White)
•Connect the L-R Audio Output connecons on the Source device to the L-R
Audio Input connecons on the SoundDeck using the provided RCA -RCA
Red/White stereo audio cable.
•Connect the Composite Video Out (Yellow) on the Source device to the Video
Line In (Yellow) on the TV using a single RCA-RCA (Yellow) video cable (not
provided).
IMPORTANT: Be sure all cable connections are seated properly and all
connectors are pressed firmly into their sockets.

Connect using the 3.5mm to 3.5mm cable
•Connect the Headphone jack on the TV to the LINE IN connector on the
SoundDeck using the provided 3.5mm to 3.5mm phono plug cable.
IMPORTANT: Be sure all cable connecons are seated properly and all
connectors are pressed firmly into their sockets.

Connect using Bluetooth
Connect to a Bluetooth Device
You can listen to music from a Bluetooth-enabled device via this SoundDeck.
Pairthe Bluetooth-enabled device
The first me you connect your Bluetooth device to this speaker system, you need to
pair your device to the speaker system.
1. Turn on the Bluetooth funcon on your device.
2. Press the “BT/PAIR” buon on the remote control or the buon on the touch
panel of the SoundDeck. The Blue LED on the front panel of the SoundDeck should
begin flashing slowly (search mode).
3. Search for a Bluetooth device with your device. The name “SSB-3WB” will appear
on your device’s list.
4. Select “SSB-3WB” in the pairing list on your device and your device will
automacally pair with the SoundDeck.
5. Once the SoundDeck is successfullypaired with your device, the Blue LED on the
SoundDeck will remain steadily ON for 5 full seconds and your device will show
“connected” or “paired”. (All LED indicators turn OFF aer 5 seconds to avoid any
annoyance or distracon to the user.)
6. To disconnect the connecon, turn off the Bluetooth funcon on your device or
switch the speaker’s input to another source.
Listen to music from Bluetooth device
•If the connected Bluetooth device supports the Advanced Audio Distribuon
Profile(A2DP), you can listen to the music stored on the device through the
speaker system.
•If the device also supports Audio Video Remote Control Profile (AVRCP), you can
use the speaker’s remote control to play music stored on the device.
1. Pair your device with the SoundDeck.
2. Start to play music via your device (if it supports A2DP)
3. Use the supplied remote control to control playback (if it supports AVRCP)
- To pause/resume play, press the buon.
