Basic safety precautions should always be followed when using electrical products,
especially when children are present.
WARNING:
TO AVOID THE RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK, ALWAYS MAKE SURE THE
PRODUCT IS UNPLUGGED FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET BEFORE ASSEMBLING,
DISASSEMBLING, RELOCATING, SERVICING, OR CLEANING IT.
•Do not use the product for anything other than the intended use.
•Keep the product out of the reach of children and pets. This product is not
intended for use by unsupervised children.

•Plug the product into a standard 120V AC electrical outlet.
•Do not plug or unplug the product from the electrical outlet with a wet hand.
•Never operate the product while you are standing/sitting in a damp or wet area.
•To avoid a circuit overload, do not operate another electrical product on the
same electrical circuit as this product.
•Do not allow the Power Cord to hang (i.e., over the edge of a table or counter)
where it may be tripped over or pulled.
•Disconnect the plug (do not pull on Power Cord) from the electrical outlet. Do
not put any stress on the Power Cord where it connects to the product, as the
Power Cord could fray and break.
•Never operate this product if it has a damaged Power Cord or plug, is not
working properly, has been dropped or damaged, or the Power Cord or Handle
exposed to water or other liquids. Do not attempt to examine or repair this
product yourself. Return the product to a service center for examination and
repair.
•This product is intended for indoor, non-commercial, non-industrial, household

.. SHORT CORD PURPOSE .
NOTE:
A short power cord is provided to reduce the risk of personal injury resulting
from becoming entangled in or tripping over a longer cord.
Longer power-supply cords or extension cords are available and may be used if care is
exercised in their use.
If an extension cord is used: (1) the marked electrical rating of the extension cord
should be at least as great as the electrical rating of the product; (2) the extension
cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop
where it can unintentionally be pulled on or tripped over by
children or pets.
…POLARIZED PLUG
If this appliance is equipped with a
polarized plug
(one blade is wider than the other),
please follow the below instructions:
To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this plug is intended to fit into a polarized
outlet only one way. If you are unable to fit the plug into the electrical outlet, try
reversing the plug. If the plug still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Never
use the plug with an extension cord unless the plug can be fully inserted into the
extension cord. Do not alter the plug of the product or any extension cord being
used with this product. Do not attempt to defeat the safety purpose of the polarized
plug
USING YOUR ICE CREAM MAKER

1. Always read all instructions and safeguards before operation.
2. Remove all packaging materials and make sure that all parts are present and
in good condition before discarding packaging materials.
3. Wash the lid, canister, and other plastic accessories in warm soapy water.
4. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
5. Use a damp cloth to wipe clean the electric motor, hand crank and wooden
bucket.
6. For brand new machines, please fill the wood bucket 2/3 full of water.
Allow to sit for 1-2 hours. This allows the wood to expand and swell up so
that the seams in between will close together keeping any ice or salt from
leaking during the operation process.
WARNING: DO NOT USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS OR SCOURING PADS.
DO NOT IMMERSE ANY ELECTRICAL COMPONENT OR POWER CORD IN WATER
OR ANY OTHER LIQUIDS AT ANY TIME.

HOW TO USE:
PREP
– Chill the ice cream canister in the freezer for 2-3 hours prior to use. Do not
leave the canister inside the freezer for more than 6-hours.
1. Using your favorite recipe, prepare the necessary ingredients per the recipe
instructions.
2. Pour the prepared and chilled ice cream mixture into the chilled ice cream
canister. Do not fill more than 2/3 full.
3. Insert the Blending Spatula and make sure the bottom of the spatula is fixed
in the center of the bottom of the canister. (Figure 1)
4. Place the lid on the canister. (Figure 2)
5. Place the plastic stabilizing ring into the wooden bucket. (Figure 3)
6. Place the canister into the wooden bucket and make sure it engages the
cone in the center of the bucket. (Figure 4)
7. Slide the rectangular end of the hand crank or electric motor into the
rectangular hole on the rim of the wooden bucket (Figure 5-a). The
opposite end of the crank will drop into the open end where the locking
latch is (Figure 5-b). Carefully lift the latch so that the wire goes over the
rounded end of the hand crank or motor (you may need to rotate the
canister by hand so that the lid fits into the motor/hand crank) (Figure 5-c).

8. Plug the power cord into an electrical outlet if the Electric Motor is being
used.
***NOTE: While using the motor during the churning process,
the canister should be turning which will be churning the ice
cream ingredients. The Blending Spatula will remain
stationary. If the canister is not spinning, the assembly is not
set up properly and will need to be re-adjusted.
9. Now prepare the wooden bucket by filling it with ice to the top of the
canister.
10. Add 1-2 cups of rock salt to the top of the ice inside the bucket.
11. Run the cranking system for approximately 5 minutes so that the canister
chills evenly.
12. As the ice begins to melt down by 2-3 inches, add more ice and more cups
of rock salt into the bucket.
13. Allow the machine to churn for 45 minutes. (If the motor has stopped
prematurely, turn the motor off, break up any ice blockages with the plastic
stirrer and start it up again).
14. Once the churning is complete (the motor will
automatically
shut off when
the contents inside become too thick for the blending spatula), unplug and
remove the motor or crank. Clear the ice and salt away from the lid of the
canister to prevent it from falling into the canister of ice cream.
15. Remove the cover and carefully lift out the Blending Spatula and scrape off
any excess ice cream.
16. The ice cream consistency is very fresh so it will be more of a soft-serve
texture.
17. If a harder consistency is desired, transfer the contents to a freezable
container and freeze for 3-4 hours.

HOW TO USE MANUAL HAND CRANK:
Follow the instructions 1 - 7 from the Electric Motor to assemble the machine and the
Hand Crank to the wooden bucket.
1. The Manual Hand Crank is recommended for use to aerate the ice cream
contents to help add air into the mixture to make it thicker.
2. It is usually suggested to use towards the last 10-15 minutes of the freezing
process. It will also help freeze the contents more.
3. During the Hand Cranking process, both the Canister and the Blending
Spatula will spin in opposite directions of each other.
TIPS & NOTES:
•Make sure to use ice that is crushed inside the bucket. Ice should be small, coarse
pieces.
•As the canister is turning, make sure to periodically mix the salt and ice together
by using the plastic stirrer every 10-15 minutes while the machine is in use.
•It is recommended to store the ice cream inside the freezing canister.
•If the ice cream consistency is too soft, put the contents into a freezable
container and freeze for 3-4 hours. The manual hand crank can also be used to
crank the ice cream inside the canister to the desired consistency.
•For recipes that require pre-cooking, it is recommended that the ingredients be
prepped several hours ahead for the mixture s will need to be allowed time to
chill and expand.
CAUTION:
•Do not plug up the drainage hole on the side of the wooden bucket. This is for
draining excess salt water and should be kept open at all times.
•If the electric motor stops churning before the 45-minutes is complete, check to
make sure there is no blockage of ice jamming against the canister. If there is ice
blocking the canister, turn off the motor and remove the jammed ice.
•The electric motor will
automatically
shut off if the ingredients in the canister
are too thick or too hard to blend anymore. Once removed, the motor will
function normally again.
CLEANING & CARE

ALWAYS UNPLUG MACHINE AND ALLOW TO COMPLETELY COOL BEFORE CLEANING
OR STORING.
1. Clean the electric motor with a damp cloth to remove any debris.
NEVER IMMERSE THE MOTOR IN WATER.
2. Clean the wooden bucket with a warm soapy sponge to remove the salt-
water residue. Rinse and dry thoroughly to ensure the salt does not corrode
the metal accessories or parts.
3. Wash the plastic canister lid, blending spatula and other plastic parts in
warm soapy water and dry thoroughly.
4. Wash the freezing canister in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly. Never
freeze the canister while it is still wet.

In a large mixing bowl, beat egg yolks until smooth; beat in sweetened condensed
milk, applesauce and cinnamon until well blended. Fold in whipped cream.
Pour into ice cream maker freezer canister and start freezing process.

In a large bowl, mix together eggs and sugar until smooth; puree peaches in blender
or food processor and stir puree into egg mixture. Stir in cream, half-and-half, vanilla

1-1/2 CUPS CHOPPED PECANS

In a small skillet over medium heat, saute pecans in butter until lightly browned,
stirring frequently. Set aside.
In a medium saucepan over low heat, stir together brown sugar, eggs and half and half
until smooth. Bring to a simmer, stirring occasionally, and cook 2 minutes more.
Remove from heat and stir in cream, vanilla and pecans.
Pour into ice cream maker freezer canister and start freezing process.
•ROCKY ROAD ICE CREAM - (Yields Approx: 6 Quarts)
3 (14 OUNCE) CANS SWEETENED CONDENSED MILK

In a medium saucepan over low heat, cook and stir condensed milk and cocoa until
smooth and slightly thickened, 5 minutes. Remove from heat and allow to cool
slightly. Stir in heavy cream, light cream, and vanilla. Refrigerate until cold.
Pour into ice cream maker freezer canister and start freezing process. Stir in nuts and
marshmallows halfway through the freezing process.

•CHERRY CHOCOLATE ICE CREAM - (Yields Approx: 6 Quarts)
9 cups heavy cream
9 cups whole milk
3 cups white sugar
3 (10 ounce) jars maraschino cherries, with juice
24 egg yolks
2 tablespoons almond extract
2-1/4 pounds bittersweet chocolate, chopped
(Batches may need to be mixed separately in order to accommodate 6Qt. quantity.)
Stir together cream, milk, sugar, and the juice from the jar of cherries in a large
saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a simmer, then remove from heat. Place the egg
yolks into a large bowl, then whisk in hot cream, about 2 tablespoons at a time, until
you have added 2 cups.
Whisk the hot yolks into the saucepan of hot cream, then cook on low, stirring
constantly, until the mixture reaches 170 degrees F (75 degrees C). It will have
thickened enough to coat the back of a metal spoon. Pour the mixture into a
container, cover, and refrigerate until cold, about 6 hours.
Chop the reserved maraschino cherries, and then stir into the cold custard along with
almond extract, and chopped chocolate.
Pour into ice cream maker freezer canister and start freezing process.
•MINT CHOCOLATE CHIP ICE CREAM - (Yields Approx: 6 Quarts)
6 CUPS 2% MILK
6 CUPS HEAVY CREAM

In a large bowl, stir together the milk, cream, sugar, salt, vanilla extract and
peppermint extract until the sugar has dissolved. Color to your liking with the green
food coloring.
Pour into ice cream maker freezer canister and start freezing process.
After about 15-20 minutes into the freezing, add the chocolate chips.

4 LEMON'S PEEL, FINELY DICED
4 CUPS WATER
2 CUPS SUGAR
2 CUPS LEMON JUICE

24 STRIPS OF LEMON ZEST, FOR GARNISH

In a saucepan, stir together the diced lemon peel, 1 cup of water and sugar. Bring to a
boil, then reduce heat to medium and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove from the heat,
and allow to cool.
In a large bowl, stir together the lemon syrup with peel, lemon juice and mineral
water.
Pour into ice cream maker freezer canister and start freezing process; pour into an
airtight container, and freeze 8 hours or overnight.
•MANGO SORBET - (Yields Approx: 6 Quarts)
16 MANGOS - PEELED, SEEDED, AND CUBED
4 CUPS SIMPLE SYRUP
3/4 CUP FRESH LIME JUICE
(Batches may need to be mixed separately in order to accommodate 6Qt. quantity.)
Place cubed mango in a food processor, and puree. Pour in simple syrup and lime juice,
and puree until smooth.
Pour into ice cream maker freezer canister and start freezing process; pour into an
airtight container, and freeze 8 hours or overnight.
•PINEAPPLE ORANGE SORBET - (Yields Approx: 6 Quarts)
1 CUP AND 3 TABLESPOONS WATER
1 CUP AND 3 TABLESPOONS GRANULATED SUGAR
4-3/4 CUPS ORANGE JUICE
2 TABLESPOONS AND 1-1/4 TEASPOONS LEMON JUICE
2-1/2 (20 OUNCE) CANS CRUSHED PINEAPPLE
1 TABLESPOON AND 1-3/4 TEASPOONS FRESHLY GRATED ORANGE ZEST

In a medium saucepan, bring water and sugar to a simmer over medium high heat until
sugar is dissolved.
In a food processor, puree pineapple with its juice until smooth. Transfer to a metal
bowl, and stir in syrup, lemon juice, orange juice, and orange zest. Freeze until slightly
firm, but not frozen.
Process mixture again in the food processor or beat with an electric mixer until
smooth.
Pour into ice cream maker freezer canister and start freezing process; pour into an
airtight container, and freeze 8 hours or overnight.

•TRIPLE BERRY SORBET - (Yields Approx: 6 Quarts)
10-1/2 CUPS WHITE SUGAR
10-1/2 CUPS WATER
12 CUPS FRESH OR FROZEN CRANBERRIES
6 (12 OUNCE) PACKAGES FROZEN UNSWEETENED RASPBERRIES
9 CUPS CHERRY JUICE
3 CUPS LIME JUICE
3/4 CUP FROZEN ORANGE JUICE CONCENTRATE

Bring the sugar and water to a boil in a saucepan over medium heat. When the sugar is
dissolved, stir in the cranberries, and cook and stir for 5 minutes. Add the raspberries,
and simmer for 5 more minutes, until the raspberries have softened and the
cranberries have popped.
Strain the mixture through a sieve or strainer, discard the pulp, and refrigerate the
mixture for 2 hours. Mix in the cherry juice, lime juice, and orange juice concentrate,.
Pour into ice cream maker freezer canister and start freezing process; pour into an
airtight container, and freeze 8 hours or overnight.
•WATERMELON SORBET - (Yields Approx: 6 Quarts)

3/4 CUP LIME JUICE

Heat water and sugar in a saucepan over medium-high heat until sugar has dissolved,
stirring occasionally. Allow to cool. Place watermelon in a blender or food processor.
Blend until smooth. Whisk watermelon, lime juice and syrup together in a large bowl.
Cover and chill in the refrigerator.
Pour into ice cream maker freezer canister and start freezing process.
For best results, sorbet should ripen in the freezer for at least 2 hours or overnight.
•PINEAPPLE & BASIL SORBET - (Yields Approx: 6 Quarts)
3 PINEAPPLE - PEELED, CORED, AND CUT INTO CHUNKS

Blend the pineapple, sugar, pineapple juice, and basil in a blender until smooth; chill in
refrigerate for 1 hour.

1. Your small kitchen appliance is built with precision, inspected and tested before
leaving our factory.
2. It is warranted, to the original purchaser to be free from any manufacturing
defects under normal use and conditions for one (1) year, cord excluded. This
Warranty applies only to the original purchaser of this product.
3. If you need to exchange the unit, please return it in its original carton, with a sales
receipt, to the store where you purchased it. If you are past the store's allowed return
policy period, please see the enclosed Warranty.
4. If you use your appliance for household use and according to instructions, it should
give you years of satisfactory service.
5. During the one-year warranty period, a product with a defect will be either
repaired or replaced with a new or reconditioned comparable model (at our option)
when the product is returned to our Service Center. (See the “Returns”section
below).
6. The repaired or replacement product will be in warranty for the remaining balance
of the one-year warranty period and an additional one-month period.
7.
This limited warranty covers appliances purchased and used within the 50
contiguous states plus the District of Columbia and does NOT cover:
- Damages caused by unreasonable use, neglect, normal wear and tear, commercial
use, improper assembly or installation of product.
- Damages caused in shipping.
- Damages caused by replacement or resetting of house fuses or circuit breakers.
- Defects other than manufacturing defects.
- Breakage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, alteration, lack of proper care and
maintenance, or incorrect current or voltage.
- Lost or missing parts of the product. Parts will need to be purchased separately.
- Damaged parts that are not electrical; example: cracked or broken plastic or glass.
- Damage from service or repair by unauthorized personnel.
- Extended warranties purchased via a separate company or reseller.
- Consumer’s remorse is not an acceptable reason to return a product to our Service
Center.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS
RETURNS:
A. Any return of defective merchandise to the manufacturer must be processed
accordingly by first contacting customer service (contact information shown below)
to obtain an RA # (Return Authorization Number). We will not accept any returns of
merchandise without an applicable RA #.
B. IMPORTANT RETURN INSTRUCTIONS. Your Warranty depends on your following
these instructions if you are returning the unit to Maxi-Matic USA:
1. Carefully pack the item in its original carton or other suitable box to avoid
damage in shipping.
2. Before packing your unit for return, be sure to enclose:
a) Your name, full address with zip code, daytime telephone
number, and RA#,
b) A dated sales receipt or PROOF OF PURCHASE,
c) The model number of the unit and the problem you are having
(Enclose in an envelope and tape directly to the unit before the
box is sealed,) and:
d) Any parts or accessories related to the problem.
3. Maxi-Matic USA recommends you ship the package U.P.S ground service
for tracking purposes. We cannot assume responsibility for lost or damaged
products returned to us during incoming shipment. For your protection,
always carefully package the product for shipment and insure it with the
carrier. C.O.D shipments cannot be accepted.
4. All return shipping charges must be prepaid by you.

6. Once your return has been received by our warehouse, Maxi-Matic USA
will repair or replace the product if it is defective in material or
workmanship, subject to the conditions in paragraph B.

EL USO DE UN CORDON ELÉCTRICO CORTO

COMO USAR SU MAQUINA DE HACER NIEVE
….
1. Siempre lea todas las instrucciones y las medidas de seguridad antes de usar
su maquina.
2. Remueva todo material de empaque y asegurese que no falte ninguna parte
y que esten en buenas condiciones antes de tirar el material de empaque.
3. Lave la tapadera, el bote y los accesorios de plástico en agua tibia y jabón.
4. Enjuague y seque perfectamente.
5. Utilize un trapo húmedo para limpiar el motor elctrico, manivela y balde de
Madera.
6. Para maquinas nuevas, favor de llenar el balde de madera con 2/3 de su
capacidad con agua y permita que se asiente de 1 a 2 horas, esto permitira
que el balde de Madera se expanda y selle evitando asi que el hielo y la sal se
deramen durante su uso.

COMO USAR LA MAQUINA:

2 o 3 horas antes de usar. Nunca deje el bote (9) dentro del congelador por mas de 6
horas
.
1. Use su receta favorita, prepare los ingredientes necesarios siguiendo las
instrucciones en la receta.
2. Coloque la ya preparada y fría mezcla de nieve en el bote de nieve ya
previamente enfriado. No sobrellene mas de dos tercios (2/3)de la mezcla. .
3. Coloque la espátula y asegurese de que la parte baja de la espátula este
colocado en el centro y parte baja del bote para nieve(Fig. 1)
4. Coloque la tapadera sobre el bote para nieve (Figure 2)
5. Ponga el anillo de plastico estabilizador en el balde de Madera

6. Coloque el bote de nieve dentro y asegurese de que se acople el centro del
cono con el centro del balde de Madera.
7. Deslice la punta final rectangular de la manivela en el motor o del motor en
la manivela, a la orilla del balde de Madera (Figure 5-a). El lado opuesto del
arrancador caera en la abertura donde esta la cerradura (Figure 5-b).
Cuidadosamente levante la cerradura de manera que el alambre pase sobre
la parte final redondeada de la manivela o el motor. Pudiera ser que usted
necesitara hacer girar el bote de nieve con su mano para que la tapadera
quede en la manivela(Figura 5-c).
8. Conecte la unidad en la toma de corriente eléctrica. Si el motor eléctrico va
a ser utilizado.
NOTA:
Durante el proceso de empiezo el bote de nieve devera de girar.
Esto permitira a la espatula agitar con fuerza los ingredientes. Si el bote no
gira , y la espátula no se mueve el ensamblado no esta correctamente.y

9. Ahora prepare el balde de Madera llenandolo con hielo, hasta arriba
10. Ponga de 1 a 2 tazas de sal de roca sobre el hielo dentro de el balde de
Madera.
11. De cuerda con la manivela aproximadamente por unos 5 minutos para que el
bote de nieve enfrie uniformemente.
12. Cuando la nieve empiece a derretirce de 5 a 7cm. agregue mas hielo y mas
tazas de sal piedra en el bote para nieve.
13. Permita que la maquina agite por unos 45 minutos. (si el motor se para
prematuramente) apague el motor rompa el hielo acumulado con la palita de
plastico y empieze ot
14. Una vez que el batido se a completado (El motor automaticamente se
apagara cuando el contenido se haga muy espeso y no pueda ser mezclado

ya por la espatula, Desconecte y remueva el motor. Limpie el hielo y la sal de
la tapa de vidrio y el balde de nieve para evitar que caigan dentro del bote
para nieve,
15. Remueva la tapadera del bote para nieve cuidadosamente, remueva la
espatula y quite cualquier exeso de nieve.
16. La consistencia de la nieve es muy fresca pero sera mas de textura suave
para servir.
17. Si se decea una consistencia mas dura transfiera la nieve en un recipiente
especial y pongalo en el congelador y dejelo helar por 3 o 4 horas.
NOTAS Y SUGERENCIAS:
•Asegurese de usar hielo que pueda ser quebrado dentro del balde de Madera. El
hielo devera estar en pequnos trozos y asperos
•Asi como el bote gire, asegurese de que periodicamente mezcle la sal con el hielo
usando la espatula de plastico cada 10 o 15 minutos mientras la maquina este en
uso.
•Es muy recomendado que guarde la nieve en el bote para nieve
•Si la consistencia de la nieve es muy blanda, coloque el contenido en un
recipiente especial y pongalo en el congelador por 3 o 4 horas. El arranque con
manivela tambien puede ser usado dentro del bote para nieve para obtener una
consistencia deseada.
•Para recetas que requieran un precocido es muy recomendado que llos
ingredientes sean preparados con varias horas de anticipacion. Para las mezclas se
necesitan tiempo para que enfrien y expandan.

•No tape el hoyo de drenar en el balde de Madera. Esto es para drenar el exeso de
sal y agua, devera de estar abierto todo el tiempo.
•Si el motor eléctrico para de revolver antes de finalizar los 45 minutos. Asegurese
de que no exista algun bloqueo de hielo o algo atorado en el balde de hielo. Si hay
hielo atorado apague el motor y remueva el hielo atorado.
•El motor eléctrico automáticamente se apagara si la mezcla de nieve es
muy espesa. Una vez que el motor haya sido removido volvera a funcionar
normalmente.

2. Limpie el balde de Madera con agua caliente y jabón utilizando una esponja
para remover residuos de sal y agua. Enjuague y seque perfectamente
asegurandose de que la sal no corroa las partes de metal.
3. Lave la tapadera de plástico, espatula y otras partes de plástico en agua
caliente y jabón. Seque perfectamente.
4. Lave el bote de nieve con agua caliente y jabón y seque perfectamente.
Nunca congele el bote para la nieve cuando este mojada.
NUNCA UTILIZE LIMPIADORES ABRASIVOS
ESTA MAQUINA Y SUS ACCESORIOS NO SON PARA LAVAR EN EL
LAVAPLATOS.
