Do not use chemical ,steel wool or abrasive cleaners to cleanthe appliance.
Ascraper may be used ,however this can only be used when the smoothie maker is not running.

To reduce the risk of injury ,never place the blade cap on the motor base without
Frist properly attaching the bottle.
The screw-on lid needs to be firmly screwed onto the bottle or there may be a risk
Of leakage.
Do not attempt totamper withthe cover interlock ,mechanism.
This appliance is for household, indoor use only.
Only use the appliance for domestic purpose .
This appliance should be used intermittently, do not allow the smoothie maker to
Run when it is empty or become overloaded.
Ashort power supply cord is provided to reduce the risk of becoming entangled or
Tripped over, which may occur with a long cord.
WARNING: the blade is very sharp,caution should be taken when cleaning and
Disassembling the smoothie maker.
The ingredients that are put inthe blending cup should not exceed 600ml.
Always operate the product on a flat, level, stable surface.
Do not submerge the unit in water or other liquids as this may cause electrical
Failure and damage tothe electrical components.
Do not place carbonated drinks into the smoothie maker as this may cause damage
To the bottle,blade cap and motor base.
Do not place any parts of the smoothie maker into a microwave.
Only place the bottle, drinking lid and blade capinthe top basket of a dishwasher
And run the dishwasher on a cool , gentle cycle only.
Do not place the motor base in a dishwasher.
WARNING : Do not over-tighteenthe blade cao onto the bottle. Over-tightening of the blade
Cap may cause damage tothe smoothie maker and will make the bottle difficult to remove
WARNING
To reduce the risk of electric shock , do not immerse or expose the products ,
Flexble cord or plug to rain, moisture or any liquid.
Do not use the product near baths, basins or other vessels containing water
Or other liquids, or when standing is or on damp or wet surfaces.
In the event that the appliance is dropped into water ,turn off the power at
The power outlet and removethe plug immediately.
DO NOT REACH INTO THE WATER TO RETRIEVE IT UNTIL IT HAS BEEN
DISSCONNECTED FROM THE POWER OUTLET.
It isimportant to note that the appliance will have to be inspected by a qualified
Technician before using it again
Instructions
Getting started
ensure the bottleis not filled with food or liquids past the maximum capactitylevel
Marking ,do not operate the smoothie maker when it is empty.
ensure close supervision when being used around chlidren
it is reommended to have all ingredients prepared before switching on the smoothie
Maker .
do not palce hot or boiling liquids into the smoothie maker, all liquids should be at
Roomtemperature or cooler before palcing into the bottle.
do not place carbonated drinksinto the smoothie maker as this may cause damage
To the bottle,blade cap and motor base.
Using the Smoothie Maker
1. palce the sommthie maker base onto a flat stable surface .
2. using the recipes provided (see page 11 or 12) or your own ,place the ingredients into
the sommthie maker ,ensure any solidingredients such as fruit or vegetables are
cute into small poeces ni larger than 2cm., it is recommended that any solidingredients are
added before adding liquid ,be careful not to fill past MAX line
3. once ingredients have been put in, screw the blade cap (2) on to bottle withthe
blade facing into the bottle,to lock,twist the blade cap (2) anti-cockwise, ensure not to
over-tighten the cap (fle.1)
WARNING: do not over –tighten the blade cap (2) onto the bottle. Over-tightening of
The blade cap may cause damage to the smoothie maker and will make the bottle diffcult to
remove
.
4. once the blade cap(2) is screwed into place,turn the bottle upside down and again
the arrow on the blade cap(2) with the arrow on the motor base (4). Twist bottle anti-clock
wise tolock into place (Flg.2)
5. plug the smoothie maker into a standard 220-240volt AC electrical outlet and turn
the power on at the wall stocket ,a blue light will illuminate around the pulse button 3
6. hold down the pulse button(3) for 30 second intervals, or until youringredients reach
the desired consistency . pulsing for 1 minute requires 2 minute rest period alternatively
once you have aligned the arrow on the blade cap(2) withthe arrow on the motor base(4)
press the bottle (1) down and hold down the pulse botton (3) to active blending.
7. when all ingredients are combined ,release the pulse button (3) on the until and turn
the smoothie maker off at the power outlet ,removethe bottle(1)from the motor base
(4) by turning it clockwise and tipit upside down, unscrew the blade cao(2) and set it

8. to convent the smoothie maker bottle (1) to an on-the –go –bottle. Simply attachthe
included lid(5) and screw on totighten.your smoothie maker is now ready to drink but
is also portable and cantaken anywhere (Flg.4)
Note:if ingredients become stuck around the blade during pulsing ,unlock the bottle from

Before continuing pilsing
Crushing Ice
The smoothie maker can be used to crush small amounts of ice (2 to 3 cubes at atime).
Always add a small amount of liquid into the smoothie maker along withthe ice before
Pressing the pulse button, the liquid can be water or milk or one of the other liquids
Mentioned inthe recipes on page 11 and 12.
Cleaning and Maintenance

Quick Cleaning Guide
fill the bottle half way with warm tap water and a drop of detergent.
screw the blade cap onto the bottle withthe blade facing into into the bottle
twist the cap anti-clockwise. Ensure not to over –tighten the cap.
once the motor base. Twist the bottle anti clock-wise to secure into place.
press and hold the pulse button for 10 seconds
removethe bottle, unscrew the blade cap and rinse both under running water.
dry thoroughkly before using again.
Recipes
Combine all ingredients as per “using the smoothie maker “(pge6), if one of the recipes
below is too thick for your liking just add additional liquid, but only add to the max level.
All measurements below should only be used as a guide,
Go Green Smoothie
250 grams spinachleaves
1 pear, cored and chopped into 1cm cubes
20 green or red graps
125 grams greek yoghurt
Mixed Berry Smoothie
250 grams mixed berries (either fresh or frozen)
125 grams plain or greek yoghurt
add enough soy milk,almond milk or
Skmmed milkto flii the bottletothe max level
honey totaste
1 tbsp peanut butter
250 grams spinach
1 banana, peeled and choppen into 1cm cubes
5 strawberries, chopped into 1cm cubes
add enough soy milk , almond milk or skimmed milkto fill the bottletothe max level
sprinkle cinnanmon on top to serve
Tropical Smoothie
pulp of 3passion fruits or 125 grams tinned passion fruit pulp
1 banana, peeled and chopped into 1cm cubes
1 smal mango,peeled and chopped into 1cm cubes
add enough orange juice to fill the bottletothe max level
serve with ice cubes and a mint leaf

WARRANTY CARD
Please preserve the Warranty Card and Cash Memo and ensure that they are duly stamped and signed by the Company’s dealer.
The Warranty Card or a Cash Memo which is not stamped and signed by the dealer will be treated as invalid.
Max Star product that you have bought is of excellent quality and construction. However we \will correct, free of charge any defects in
material or workmanship for a period of one year* (the Warranty period) from date of purchase subject to the terms and conditions.
TERMS & CONDITIONS OF WARRANTY
1. Max Star products are warrantied solely against poor workmanship, manufacturing defect and use of faulty material only.
Consequential liabilities will not be entertained. All Max Star products are designed for domestic usage only.
2. In the event of a replacement of spares during the warranty period, this warranty card will be required along with the original tax
invoice/ Cash Memo to process the claim. The Company will not entertain a claim with incomplete warranty details.
3. This warranty is confined to the first purchaser of the product only & is not transferable.
4. Repair or replacement of spares will be carried out through the Company’s Authorized Service Centre or its Authorized Dealers.
5. Repairs during warranty period shall be carried on “Carry In” basis, wherein, for services, the purchaser shall bring the product to the
Company’s Authorized Service Center / Authorized Dealer for warranty service along with Tax Invoice / Cash Memo and Warranty
Card. The warranty does not cover cost of transportation of product from the customer’s place to the Company’s Authorized Service
Centre/ Authorized dealer. However, in case the customer located beyond the municipal limits of the jurisdiction of the Company’s
Authorized Service / Authorized Dealers, wishes the Company / its Authorized Service Center/ Authorized Dealer to collect the
product from his place for the purpose of servicing the product then all expenses incurred in collection and delivery back of the
product, as well as the expenses incurred in connection with deputing of service personnel / technicians towards to and for travel,
conveyance and other incidentals etc. will be borne by the customer.
6. In the event of repairs / replacement of any part/s of the product, this warranty will be thereafter continue and remain in force only for
the unexpired period of the warranty. Moreover, the time taken for repair/ replacement and in transit whether under the warranty or
otherwise shall not be excluded from the warranty period. The customer shall have to pay a visit charge towards inspection, as
applicable.
7. The Company / its Authorized Service Centre/ Authorized Dealer, reserves the right to retain any parts or component/s replaced at
its/their discretion in the event of a defect noticed in the equipment during the warranty period. The company shall have exclusive
right to replace the defective / unserviceable part/s or component/s with the part/s or component/s which may be new or refurbished.
8. The warranty does not cover accessories external to the product.
9. The warranty does not cover demonstration/installation of the product purchased.
10. In the event of any unforeseen circumstance, and spares not being available, the Company’s prevailing depreciation rules will be
binding onthe purchaser to accept as a commercial solution in lieu of repairs.
11. The warranty is issued at Delhi and Courts at Delhi shall have exclusive jurisdiction over matters covered or flowing from this
warranty.
12. The Company’s obligation under this warranty shall be limited to repairing or providing replacement of parts, which are found to be
defective.
13. In the event of repairs/replacement of specific parts on which warranty is more is more than product warranty, the specific parts will
be repaired /replaced free of the cost but customer needs to pay service charges in such cases.
THIS WARRANTY IS NOT APPLICABLE IN ANY OF THE FOLLOWING CASES:
1. The warranty card is not duly filled by the selling dealer.
2. The completed warranty card is not presented to the service personnel at the time of repair.
3. The product is not purchased from an Authorized MAX STAR dealer.
4. The product is not installed, used and maintained according to instruction given in the instruction manual.
5. Defect cause by improper use as determined by the company personnel.
6. Installation/ repair work is carried out by persons/agency other than Authorized by the company.
7. Defects have been caused by reasons beyond control of the Company, like act of God, during transit to Service Centre or
purchaser’s residence, poor maintenance, damage to the product caused by insects/ rodents.
8. The warranty does not apply to :
a. Surface coating, body aesthetics, plastic parts, neon lamps, bake light part, rubber/neon parts, cord wire, push button & bulb and
dursable parts viz. shaft, bush etc.
b. Normal wear and tears of parts.
c. Damages resulting from accidents, mishandling, improper use or negligence on the part of customer and fluctuation in supply
voltage.
d. Damages resulting due to usage of power supply other than specified 230 Volts AC 50 Hz. e.g. inverters, generator etc.
e. For humming noise generated due to usage of electronic fan regulators of any make.
f. Breakage of glass parts.
g. Heating tubes/rods for failure or breakage.
