■Dieses Gerät ist zur Dekoration sowie
zum Befeuchten von Luft in Innenräu-
men bestimmt.
■Das Gerät ist für den privaten Ge-
brauch, nicht für eine gewerbliche
Nutzung bestimmt.
■Das Gerät nur für den angegebenen
Zweck und nur wie in der Gebrauchs-
anleitung beschrieben nutzen. Jede
weitere Verwendung gilt als bestim-
mungswidrig.
■Von der Gewährleistung ausge-
schlossen sind alle Mängel, die durch
unsachgemäße Behandlung, Beschä-
digung, Verkalkung oder Reparatur-
versuche entstehen. Dies gilt auch für
den normalen Verschleiß.

versprüht auf Knopfdruck romantische Kaminfeuer-Atmosphäre – ganz ohne Brand-
gefahr! Die Flammen wirken täuschend echt, bestehen aber nur aus Wasser, das
per Ultraschallvernebler zerstäubt wird – ohne Chemie und unangenehme Gerüche.
Zusätzlich zur Optik dient der Dekokamin auch zur Raumluftbefeuchtung!

SICHERHEITSHINWEISE
■Dieses Gerät kann von Kindern ab 8 Jahren sowie von Perso-
nen mit reduzierten physischen, sensorischen oder mentalen
Fähigkeiten oder Mangel an Erfahrung und/oder Wissen
benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des
sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die
daraus resultierenden Gefahren verstanden haben.
■Kinder dürfen nicht mit dem Gerät spielen.
■Reinigung und Benutzer-Wartung dürfen nicht durch Kinder
durchgeführt werden, es sei denn, sie werden beaufsichtigt.
■Kinder jünger als 8 Jahre und Tiere sind vom Gerät und der
Anschlussleitung fernzuhalten.
■Das Gerät ist nicht dazu bestimmt, mit einer externen Zeit-
schaltuhr oder einem separaten Fernwirksystem betrieben zu
werden.
■Das Gerät ist bei nicht vorhandener Aufsicht, beim Befüllen
oder Entleeren des Wassertanks sowie vor dem Reinigen stets
ausschalten und vom Netz zu trennen.
■Keine Veränderungen am Gerät vornehmen. Wenn das Gerät
oder die Anschlussleitung beschädigt sind, müssen diese Teile
durch den Hersteller, Kundenservice oder eine ähnlich qualifi-
zierte Person (z.B. Fachwerkstatt) ersetzt werden, um Gefähr-
dungen zu vermeiden.
GEFAHR – Stromschlaggefahr
■Das Gerät nur in geschlossenen Räu-
men verwenden und lagern.
■Das Gerät nicht in Räumen mit hoher
Luftfeuchtigkeit verwenden.
■Die Haupteinheit und die Anschluss-
leitung niemals in Wasser oder
andere Flüssigkeiten eintauchen
und sicherstellen, dass diese nicht
ins Wasser fallen oder nass werden
können.
■Das Gerät und die Anschlussleitung
niemals mit feuchten Händen berüh-
ren, wenn das Gerät an das Strom-
netz angeschlossen ist.
■Das Gerät nicht verwenden, wenn
es eine Fehlfunktion hatte oder ins
Wasser gefallen ist. Vor erneuter In-
betriebnahme in einer Fachwerkstatt
überprüfen lassen.

WARNUNG – Brandgefahr
■Das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von
leicht entzündbaren Materialien
(Gardinen, Textilien, etc.) verwenden.
Keine brennbaren Materialien (z. B.
Pappe, Papier, Kunststoff) auf das
Gerät legen.
■Nichts in die Öffnungen des Gerätes
stecken und sicherstellen, dass diese
nicht verstopft sind. Mit verstopften
Öffnungen darf das Gerät nicht ver-
wendet werden.
WARNUNG – Verletzungs-
gefahr
■Kinder und Tiere vom Verpackungs-
material fernhalten. Es besteht Ersti-
ckungsgefahr.
■Kinder beaufsichtigen, um sicherzu-
stellen, dass sie nicht mit dem Gerät
spielen.
■Die Halogenlampen werden bei
Gebrauch heiß. Diese während und
direkt nach der Benutzung nicht
anfassen. Es besteht Verbrennungs-
gefahr.
■Das Wasser und Teile des Gerätes
werden während des Gebrauchs
warm. Den Kontakt mit aufgeheizten
Teilen während und direkt nach der
Benutzung vermeiden. Es besteht
Verbrennungsgefahr.
■Nicht direkt in das Licht der Halogen-
lampen schauen. Es besteht Blend-
gefahr.
■Darauf achten, dass die Anschluss-
leitung keine Stolpergefahr darstellt.
Es besteht Sturzgefahr.
HINWEIS – Risiko von Material- und
Sachschäden
■Die Anschlussleitung so verlegen,
dass sie nicht gequetscht oder
geknickt wird und nicht mit heißen
Flächen in Berührung kommt.
■Das Gerät ausschalten und den Netz-
stecker aus der Steckdose ziehen,
wenn während des Betriebes ein
Fehler auftritt, bei Stromausfall oder
vor einem Gewitter.
■Das Gerät immer zuerst ausschalten,
bevor der Netzstecker aus der Steck-
dose gezogen wird. Beim Heraus-
ziehen aus der Steckdose immer am
Netzstecker und nie am Netzkabel
ziehen!
■Das Gerät niemals an der Anschluss-
leitung ziehen oder tragen.
■Das Gerät nicht kippen o.Ä., wenn
sich Wasser im Wassertank befindet.
■Das Gerät vor anderen Wärmequel-
len, offenem Feuer, Minustempe-
raturen und Stößen schützen. Die
Haupteinheit zusätzlich vor lang
anhaltender Feuchtigkeit und Nässe
schützen.
■Keine schweren Gegenstände auf
das Gerät oder die Anschlussleitung
legen oder stellen.
■Nur Original-Zubehörteile des Her-
stellers verwenden, um die Funkti-
onsweise des Gerätes nicht zu beein-
trächtigen und eventuelle Schäden zu
verhindern.
WASSERTANK BEFÜLLEN
Beachten!
■Den Wassertank nicht überfüllen
(MAX-Markierung beachten)! Elekt-
rische Bestandteile könnten beschä-
digt werden.
 Um eine potentielle Verkalkung
des Gerätes zu verhindern, emp-
fehlen wir destilliertes Wasser zu
verwenden.
1. Sicherstellen, dass das Gerät nicht an
das Stromnetz angeschlossen ist.

2. Die Abdeckung (10) von der Haupt-
einheit (5) abnehmen (Bild C).
3. Den Spritzschutz (9) vom Wasser-
tank(7) abnehmen (Bild C).
4. Den Wassertank mithilfe eines Mess-
bechers o.Ä. vorsichtig mit Wasser
befüllen.
5. Den Spritzschutz auf den Wassertank
und die Abdeckung auf die Hauptein-
heit setzen.
BENUTZUNG
Beachten!
■Das Gerät muss einen Freiraum von
mindestens 1 m nach oben und zu
allen Seiten haben und auf einem
trockenen, ebenen, festen und
feuchtigkeitsunempfindlichen Unter-
grund stehen. Das Gerät nicht in der
Nähe von feuchtigkeitsempfindlichen
Gegenständen und Materialien po-
sitionieren. Auf feuchten Materialien,
wie z.B. Vorhängen o.Ä. könnten
gesundheitsschädliche Mikro-
organismen entstehen.
■Das Wasser im Wassertank muss
alle zwei Tage gewechselt und der
Wassertank gründlich gereinigt
werden, um die Entstehung gesund-
heitsschädlicher Mikroorganismen
zu vermeiden.
■Das Gerät nur an eine vorschrifts-
mäßig installierte Steckdose, die mit
den technischen Daten des Gerätes
übereinstimmt, anschließen. Die
Steckdose muss auch nach dem An-
schließen gut zugänglich sein, damit
die Netzverbindung schnell getrennt
werden kann.
■Das Gerät nur benutzen, wenn alle
Halogenlampen eingesetzt sind.
■Das Gerät nicht unbeaufsichtigt
betreiben, um im Falle von Störungen
sofort eingreifen zu können.
1. Den Wassertank (7) befüllen (siehe
Kapitel „Wassertank befüllen“).
2. Die Anschlussleitung vollständig
auseinanderwickeln und an eine
Steckdose anschließen.
3. Den Kippschalter (6) in die Position I
stellen.
4. Die Ein- / Aus-Taste (4) drücken, um
das Gerät einzuschalten. Die Halo-
genlampen (11) beginnen zu leuch-
ten. Nach etwa einer Minute begin-
nen die Ultraschall-Zerstäuber(1)
Wassernebel zu produzieren. Das
Gerät benötigt einige Zeit, um ein
realistisches Flammenbild hervorzu-
bringen. Im Verlauf der Nutzung ent-
wickelt sich das Flammenbild weiter
und wird zunehmend schöner.
 Um die Flammenentwicklung
zu beschleunigen, kann warmes
Wasser (ca. 40 °C bis 60 °C) ver-
wendet werden.
Beachten: Wenn nicht mehr ausrei-
chend Wasser im Wassertank vor-
handen ist, schaltet sich das Gerät
automatisch aus.
5. Wenn das Gerät nicht mehr ver-
wendet werden soll, die Ein- /Aus-
Taste drücken, um es auszuschalten
Die Halogenlampen erlöschen und
die Ultraschall-Zerstäuber schalten
sich aus.
6. Den Kippschalter in die Position O
stellen und die Anschlussleitung aus
der Steckdose ziehen.
 Nach dem Gebrauch kann sich
am Spritzschutz und an der Ab-
deckung Restwasser befinden.

REINIGUNG UND
AUFBEWAHRUNG
Beachten!
■Der Wassertank muss alle zwei
Tage geleert und gereinigt werden.
■Zum Reinigen keine scharfen oder
scheuernden Reinigungsmittel oder
Reinigungspads verwenden. Diese
können die Oberflächen beschädigen.
• Sicherstellen, dass das Gerät nicht an
das Stromnetz angeschlossen ist.
• Das Gerät mit einem weichen,
feuchten Tuch abwischen. Stärkere
Verschmutzungen mit ein wenig Rei-
nigungsmittel entfernen.
• Bei Bedarf die Membranen der
Ultraschall-Zerstäuber (1) mit einem
in Alkohol getränkten Wattestäbchen
reinigen.
• Bei längerem Nichtgebrauch bzw. vor
dem Verstauen des Gerätes eventuell
vorhandenes Restwasser unbedingt
aus dem Wassertank (7) entfernen
(siehe Kapitel „Wassertank reinigen“).
• Das Gerät bei Nichtgebrauch vor
Staub geschützt an einem sauberen,
trockenen, für Kinder und Tiere unzu-
gänglichen Ort aufbewahren.
Wassertank reinigen
Zum Reinigen des Wassertanks (7) muss
dieser aus dem Gerät entnommen werden.
1. Sicherstellen, dass das Gerät nicht an
das Stromnetz angeschlossen ist.
2. Die Abdeckung (10) von der Haupt-
einheit (5) abnehmen (Bild C).
3. Den Spritzschutz (9) vom Wassertank
abnehmen (Bild C).
4. Die Kabel der Ultraschall-Zerstäu-
ber(1) vorsichtig aus der Kabelfüh-
rung (2) im Rand des Wassertanks
lösen. Anschließend die Ultraschall-
Zerstäuber aus den Aufnahmen
herausnehmen.
5. Den Wassertank aus der Hauptein-
heit entnehmen (Bild D).
6. Gegebenfalls vorhandenes Restwas-
ser wegschütten.
7. Den Wassertank gründlich mit etwas
Spülmittel und warmem Wasser
reinigen.
8. Den Wassertank vollständig ab-
trocknen.
9. Den Wassertank in die Haupteinheit
einsetzen.
10. Die Ultraschall-Zerstäuber in die
Aufnahmen im Wassertank und deren
Kabel in die Kabelführung einset-
zen. Dabei darauf achten, dass die
Ultraschall-Zerstäuber vollständig
eingesetzt ist und gerade sitzen.
11. Den Spritzschutz in den Wassertank
einsetzen und die Abdeckung auf die
Haupteinheit setzen.
WARTUNG
Das Gerät muss arbeitsbereit gehalten
werden. Falls eine Halogenlampe(11)
oder ein Ultraschall-Zerstäuber (1)
beschädigt sein sollten, müssen diese
ausgetauscht werden.
 Ersatzteile können über folgende

Halogenlampe austauschen
Beachten: Beim Anfassen und Einsetzen
einer neuen Halogenlampe (11), Hand-
schuhe bzw. ein Tuch benutzen, um die
Funktionsweise der Halogenlampe nicht
zu beeinträchtigen.
1. Sicherstellen, dass das Gerät nicht
an das Stromnetz angeschlossen und
vollständig abgekühlt ist.
2. Die Abdeckung (10) von der Haupt-
einheit (5) abnehmen (Bild C).
3. Den Spritzschutz (9) vom Wassertank
abnehmen (Bild C).

4. Halogenlampe gegen den Uhrzeiger-
sinn drehen, um sie zu lösen, und
herausziehen.
5. Neue Halogenlampe in die Fassung
einsetzen und im Uhrzeigersinn dre-
hen, um sie zu fixieren.
Ultraschall-Zerstäuber austauschen
1. Sicherstellen, dass das Gerät nicht
an das Stromnetz angeschlossen und
vollständig abgekühlt ist.
2. Die Abdeckung (10) von der Haupt-
einheit (5) abnehmen (Bild C).
3. Den Spritzschutz (9) vom Wassertank
abnehmen (Bild C).
4. Das Kabel des Ultraschall-Zerstäu-
ber(1) vorsichtig aus der Kabelfüh-
rung (2) im Rand des Wassertanks (7)
lösen. Anschließend den Ultraschall-
Zerstäuber aus der Aufnahme heraus-
ziehen.
5. Das Kabel bis zur Steckverbindung
aus dem Gehäuse herausziehen
(BildE).
6. Die Steckverbindung lösen und einen
neuen Ultraschall-Zerstäuber an den
Stecker der Haupteinheit anschließen
(BildE).
 Sollte das Kabel in das Gehäuse
fallen, den Wassertank heraus-
nehmen und das Kabel wieder
durch die entsprechende Öffnung
durchfädeln.
7. Die Steckverbindung im Gehäuse
verstauen und das Kabel durch Fest-
drücken des Stopfens im Gehäuse
fixieren.
8. Den Ultraschall-Zerstäuber in die
Aufnahme im Wassertank und
dessen Kabel in die Kabelführung
einsetzen. Dabei darauf achten, dass
der Ultraschall-Zerstäuber vollständig
eingesetzt ist und gerade sitzt.
9. Den Spritzschutz in den Wassertank
einsetzen und die Abdeckung auf die
Haupteinheit setzen.
PROBLEMBEHEBUNG
Sollte das Gerät nicht ordnungsgemäß
funktionieren, überprüfen, ob ein Prob-
lem selbst behoben werden kann. Lässt
sich mit den nachfolgenden Schritten
das Problem nicht lösen, den Kunden-
service kontaktieren.
Nicht versuchen, ein elektrisches
Gerät selbst zu reparieren!
Das Gerät funktioniert nicht.
Der Netzstecker steckt nicht richtig in
der Steckdose.
►Den Sitz des Netzsteckers korrigieren.
Die Steckdose ist defekt.
►Eine andere Steckdose ausprobieren.
Der Kippschalter (6) steht in Position O.
►Dem Kippschalter in Position Istellen.
Der Wassertank (7) ist leer. In diesem
Fall kann das Gerät nicht eingeschaltet
werden.
►Den Wassertank befüllen.
Ein Ultraschall-Zerstäuber (1)
funktioniert nicht.
Die Membran ist verschmutzt.
►Die Membran reinigen.
Der Ultraschall-Zerstäuber (1) steckt nicht
richtig am Stecker der Haupteinheit (5).
►Die Steckverbindung überprüfen
und ggf. korrigieren.

Die Flammen sind klein. /
Das Flamenbild entwickelt sich
nicht.
Das Gerät wurde gerade erst ein-
geschaltet.
►Das Gerät benötigt einige Zeit, um
ein realistisches Flammenbild hervor-
zubringen. Im Verlauf der Nutzung
entwickelt sich das Flammenbild
weiter und wird zunehmend schöner.
Die Membran der Ultraschall-Zerstäuber(1)
ist verschmutzt.
►Die Membranen reinigen.
Der Ultraschall-Zerstäuber(1) sitzt schief
in der Aufnahme.
►Den Sitz des Ultraschall-Zerstäubers
korrigieren. Die Membran muss
gerade nach oben zeigen und darf
nicht geneigt sein.
Das Kabel des Ultraschall-Zerstäubers (1)
ragt über die Membran.
►Den Sitz des Kabels korrigieren. Der
Bereich über der Membran muss frei
bleiben.
ENTSORGUNG
Das Verpackungsmaterial um-
weltgerecht entsorgen und der
Wertstoffsammlung zuführen.
Dieses Gerät unterliegt der euro-
päischen Richtlinie 2012/19/EU für
Elektro- und Elektronik-Altgeräte
(WEEE). Dieses Gerät nicht als
normalen Hausmüll, sondern um-
weltgerecht über einen behördlich
zugelassenen Entsorgungsbetrieb
entsorgen.

the romantic atmosphere of an open fire at the touch of a button – without any risk of
fire! The flames appear deceptively real, but consist only of water that is atomised by
an ultrasonic nebuliser – without any chemicals or unpleasant odours. As well as look-
ing good, the decorative fireplace also humidifies the air in a room!

SAFETY NOTICES
■This device may be used by children aged 8 and over and by
people with reduced physical, sensory or mental abilities or a
lack of experience and/or knowledge if they are supervised or
have received instruction on how to use the device safely and
have understood the dangers resulting from failure to comply
with the relevant safety precautions.
■Children must not play with the device.
■Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by
children, unless they are supervised.
■Children younger than 8 years of age and animals must be
kept away from the device and the connecting cable.
■The device is not designed to be operated with an external
timer or a separate remote control system.
■The device must always be switched off and disconnected
from the mains power when it is not being supervised, when
filling or emptying the water tank, and before cleaning it.
■Do not make any modifications to the device. If the device
or the connecting cable are damaged, these parts must be
replaced by the manufacturer, customer service department or
a similarly qualified person (e.g. specialist workshop) in order
to avoid any hazards.

■Use and store the device only in

■Never immerse the main unit and
the connecting cable in water or
other liquids, and ensure that these
components cannot fall into water or

■Never touch the device and the con-

the device is connected to the mains
power.
■Do not use the device if it has mal-
functioned or fallen into water. Have
it checked in a specialist workshop
before using it again.

WARNING – Danger of Fire
■Do not use the device in the vicinity of
highly flammable materials (curtains,
textiles, etc.). Do not place any com-
bustible materials (e.g. cardboard,
paper, plastic) on the device.
■Do not insert anything into the open-
ings of the device and make sure that
they do not become clogged. The
device must not be used with blocked
openings.
WARNING – Danger of Injury
■Keep children and animals away from
the packaging material. There is a
danger of suffocation.
■Supervise children to ensure that they
do not play with the device.
■The halogen lamps become hot
during use! Do not touch them during
and immediately after use. There is a
danger of burns.
■The water and parts of the device
will become hot during use. Avoid
any contact with heated parts during
and immediately after use. There is a
danger of burns.
■Do not look directly into the light of
the halogen lamps. There is a risk of
glare.
■Make sure that the connecting cable
does not present a trip hazard. There
is a danger of falling over it.
NOTICE – Risk of Damage to
Material and Property
■Lay the connecting cable in such a way
that it does not become squashed or
bent and does not come into contact
with hot surfaces.
■Switch off the device and pull the
mains plug out of the plug socket
if an error occurs during operation,
when there is a power cut or before
a thunderstorm.
■Always switch off the device first
before the mains plug is pulled out of
the plug socket. When you pull the
mains plug out of the socket, always
pull on the mains plug and never the
mains cable!
■Never pull or carry the device by the
connecting cable.
■Do not tip the device or do some-
thing similar when there is water in
the water tank.
■Protect the device from other heat
sources, naked flames, sub-zero tem-
peratures and impacts. Also protect
the main unit from persistent moisture
and wet conditions.
■Do not lay or place any heavy objects
on the device or the connecting
cable.
■Use only original accessories from the
manufacturer in order to guarantee
that there is no interference that may
prevent the device from working and
to avoid possible damage.
FILLING THE WATER TANK
Please Note!
■Do not overfill the water tank (note
the MAX marking)! Electrical compo-
nents could be damaged.
 We recommend using distilled
water to prevent potential calcifi-
cation of the device.
1. Make sure that the device is not con-
nected to the mains power.
2. Take the cover (10) off the main unit(5)
(Picture C).
3. Remove the splash guard (9) from the
water tank(7) (Picture C).

4. Carefully fill the water tank with water
using a measuring cup or something
similar.
5. Place the splash guard on the water
tank and the cover on the main unit.
USE
Please Note!
■The device must have clearance of at
least 1 m above it and to all sides and
be placed on a dry, even, solid and
moisture-resistant surface. Do not po-
sition the device near to moisture-sen-
sitive objects and materials. Harmful
microorganisms may be produced on
damp materials, such as curtains or
such like.
■The water in the water tank needs
to be changed every two days and
the water tank needs to be cleaned
thoroughly in order to prevent the
formation of harmful microorganisms.
■Only connect the device to a plug
socket that is properly installed and
matches the technical data of the
device. The plug socket must also be
readily accessible after connection so
that the connection to the mains can
quickly be isolated.
■Only use the device when all halogen
lamps are inserted.
■Do not operate the device unsuper-
vised so that you can intervene imme-
diately if there are any faults.
1. Fill the water tank (7) (see the “Filling
the Water Tank” chapter).
2. Fully unwind the connecting cable
and connect it to a plug socket.
3. Move the toggle switch (6) into theI
position.
4. Press the On / Off button (4) to switch
on the device. The halogen lamps (11)
start to light up. After around a min-
ute the ultrasonic atomisers(1) start
to produce a water mist. The device
requires a little time to produce a real-
istic flame pattern. The flame pattern
will develop as the device is used and
become increasingly more vivid.
 To accelerate the flame develop-
ment, warm water (approx. 40°C
to 60°C) can be used.
Please Note: If there is not enough
water in the water tank, the device
switches off automatically.
5. If the device is no longer going to
be used, press the On/Off button
to switch it off. The halogen lamps
go out and the ultrasonic atomisers
switch off.
6. Move the toggle switch to the Oposi-
tion and pull the connecting cable out
of the plug socket.
 After use, there may still be water
remaining on the splash guard
and on the cover.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
Please Note!
■The water tank needs to be emptied
and cleaned every two days.
■Do not use any sharp or abrasive
cleaning agents or cleaning pads to
clean the device. They may damage
the surfaces.
• Make sure that the device is not con-
nected to the mains power.
• Wipe down the device with a soft,
damp cloth. Remove more stubborn
dirt with a little detergent.
• If necessary, clean the diaphragms
of the ultrasonic atomisers (1) with a
cotton bud soaked in alcohol.

• If the device is not going to be used
for a prolonged period and before
storing it away, it is essential to
remove any remaining water from the
water tank (7) (see the “Cleaning the
Water Tank” chapter).
• Store the device in a clean, dry place
so that it is protected and is out of the
reach of children and animals when it
is not in use.
Cleaning the Water Tank
To clean the water tank (7), it needs to be
removed from the device.
1. Make sure that the device is not con-
nected to the mains power.
2. Take the cover (10) off the main unit(5)
(Picture C).
3. Remove the splash guard (9) from the
water tank (Picture C).
4. Carefully detach the cables of the
ultrasonic atomisers(1) from the cable
guide (2) on the edge of the water
tank. Then remove the ultrasonic
atomisers from the mounts.
5. Remove the water tank from the main
unit (Picture D).
6. Pour away any remaining water.
7. Clean the water tank thoroughly with
a little detergent and warm water.
8. Completely dry the water tank.
9. Insert the water tank into the main
unit.
10. Insert the ultrasonic atomisers into
the mounts in the water tank and their
cables into the cable guide. When
you do this, make sure that the ultra-
sonic atomisers are fully inserted and
are fitted straight.
11. Insert the splash guard into the water
tank and place the cover on the main
unit.
MAINTENANCE
The device must be kept operationally
ready. If a halogen lamp(11) or an ultra-
sonic atomiser (1) should be damaged,
they need to be replaced.

Replacing a Halogen Lamp
Please Note: When you touch and insert
a new halogen lamp (11), use gloves or a
cloth so that you do not compromise the
way that the halogen lamp works.
1. Make sure that the device is not con-
nected to the mains power and has
cooled down completely.
2. Take the cover (10) off the main unit(5)
(Picture C).
3. Remove the splash guard (9) from the
water tank (Picture C).
4. Twist the halogen lamp anticlockwise
to release it and pull it out.
5. Insert a new halogen lamp into the
socket and twist it clockwise to fix it
in place.
Replacing an Ultrasonic Atomiser
1. Make sure that the device is not con-
nected to the mains power and has
cooled down completely.
2. Take the cover (10) off the main unit(5)
(Picture C).
3. Remove the splash guard (9) from the
water tank (Picture C).
4. Carefully detach the cable of the
ultrasonic atomiser(1) from the cable
guide (2) on the edge of the water
tank (7). Then pull the ultrasonic
atomiser out of the mount.
5. Pull the cable out of the housing up
to the plug connection (PictureE).

6. Release the plug connection and
connect a new ultrasonic atomiser to
the plug connector of the main unit
(Picture E).
 If the cable drops into the hous-
ing, remove the water tank and
thread the cable back through the
corresponding opening.
7. Stow the plug connection in the hous-
ing and fix the cable in place by firmly
pressing the plug in the housing.
8. Insert the ultrasonic atomiser into the
mount in the water tank and its cable
into the cable guide. When you do
this, make sure that the ultrasonic
atomiser is fully inserted and is fitted
straight.
9. Insert the splash guard into the water
tank and place the cover on the main
unit.
TROUBLESHOOTING
If the device does not work properly,
check whether you are able to rectify the
problem yourself. If the problem cannot
be solved with the steps below, contact
the customer service department.
Do not attempt to repair an
electrical device yourself!
The device does not work.
The mains plug is not inserted in the plug
socket correctly.
►Correct the fit of the mains plug.
The plug socket is defective.
►Try another plug socket.
The toggle switch (6) is in theOposition.
►Move the toggle switch into the I
position.
The water tank (7) is empty. In this case,
the device cannot be switched on.
►Fill the water tank.
An ultrasonic atomiser (1) does not
work.
The diaphragm is dirty.
►Clean the diaphragm.
The ultrasonic atomiser (1) is not plugged
correctly on the connector of the main
unit (5).
►Check the plug connection and
correct it if necessary.
The flames are small. / The flame
pattern does not develop.
The device has only just been switched on.
►The device requires a little time to
produce a realistic flame pattern. The
flame pattern will develop as the de-
vice is used and become increasingly
more vivid.
The diaphragm of the ultrasonic atomis-
ers(1) is dirty.
►Clean the diaphragms.
The ultrasonic atomiser(1) is tilted in the
mount.
►Correct the fit of the ultrasonic atom-
iser. The diaphragm must be pointing
straight up and must not be tilted.
The cable of the ultrasonic atomiser (1) is
protruding over the diaphragm.
►Correct the fit of the cable. The
area above the diaphragm needs to
remain clear.
