Replacement Instructions
IMPORTANT NOTICE - READ CAREFULLY
AutoDRIVE Pressure Switch
* Ensure power is disconnected from the unit and capacitors have been given adequate
time to discharge before servicing*
*Referencethestickeronthesideofthedriveforspecicsoncapacitordischargetime*
This instruction applies to the following AutoDRIVE model numbers:
Kit Contents
Pressure Switch
Once the drive has been powered down, locate a drain valve in the
system in order to relieve the pressure and drain the system.
NOTE: Try to use as low of a valve as you can which will allow more
of the system to be drained and reduce the amount of water that will
leak when the pressure switch is removed from the piping.

Step 1
Remove the three (3) screws that attach the front cover
to the unit.
NOTE: If the pressure switch wire does not need to be
replaced, some of the following steps can be skipped.

Locate the pressure switch wire terminal connections on the control board. Remove the wires from the AUX1 and
COM terminals.
Loosen the transducer cord grip and pull the
pressure switch wire through the cord grip.
Take note of routing for the pressure switch wire and undo any attachment
points.

Ensure the open drain valve has quit running and prepare for a small amount of water to leak when the old pressure switch is
removed. Remove the wire connections from the pressure switch and unthread the pressure switch.
Thread in the new pressure switch and connect
either wire to either of the two posts on the
pressure switch.

Re-route the pressure switch cable.

Push the pressure switch cable up through the cord grip
and tighten the cord grip. Excess pressure switch wire can
be coiled up.
Connect either wire of the new pressure switch to the AUX1
terminal and connect the other pressure switch wire to the
COM terminal.
Reinstall the front cover and then
reinstall the three (3) screws and tighten
the front cover.
Reconnect power to the unit and check for leaks.
Using a 7/32” allen wrench and an analog
pressure gauge plumbed into the water system, adjust
the pressure switch to the desired pressure.
