• DO NOT immerse in or expose the base, power cord, or plug to water or other liquids.
• DO NOT attempt to open any part of the base.
• To disconnect the product from an electrical outlet, pull directly on the plug; do not pull on
the power cord.
• DO NOT put any stress on the power cord where it connects to the product, as the power
cord could fray and break.
• If using an extension cord with this product, the marked electrical rating of the cord set or
extension cord must be at least as great as the electrical rating of the product.
• Keep hands and utensils out of container while blending to reduce the risk of severe injury
to persons or damage to the blender.
• DO NOT operate the product if it has a damaged power cord or plug, malfunctions, or is
dropped or damaged. This product has no user-serviceable parts. DO NOT attempt to
examine or repair this product yourself. Only qualied service personnel should perform any
servicing. Take the product to the appliance repair shop of your choice for inspection and
repair.

• ALWAYS operate blender with cover in place.

• Ensure the blender is off before adding or removing parts. DO NOT attempt to place the
Glass Jar onto the Base while the motor is running. DO NOT attempt to remove the Glass
Jar from the Base while the motor is running.
• Attach the Blade Assembly to the Glass Jar correctly before putting the Glass Jar onto the
Base. To reduce the risk of injury, NEVER place cutter- assembly blades on the base
without the Glass Jar being properly attached.

• When blending hot liquids, remove center piece of two-piece
cover.
• After operating continuously for three minutes, wait at least
one minute before operating the blender again to help prevent
the motor from overheating.
• DO NOT run motor while Glass Jar is empty.
• This product is intended for indoor, non-commercial,
non-industrial, household use only.
• DO NOT use outdoors.
• DO NOT let cord hang over the edge of a table or counter.
• This product uses a short power cord to reduce the risk of
personal injury resulting from becoming entangled in or
tripping over a longer cord.
WARNING: This product is equipped with a polarized plug
(one blade is wider than the other blade) to reduce the risk of
electrical shock. This is a safety feature. The plug will t into
a polarized outlet only one way. If you are unable to insert the
plug into the electrical outlet, try reversing the plug. If the plug
still does not t, contact a qualied
electrician. NEVER use the plug with an
extension cord unless you can fully
insert the plug into the extension cord.

• SIEMPRE ponga la tapa de plástico sobre el recipiente de vidrio cuando esté

To Assemble
WARNING: To avoid damage to the product or serious personal
injury:
• DO NOT activate or plug the product into an electrical outlet until the
product is completely assembled.
• The Blades of the product are very sharp. Handle with care.
1. Ensure the product is unplugged from the electrical outlet.
2. Place the Motor Housing on a at, stable surface.
3. Wash and dry the Glass Jar.
4. Ensure the Leak-Proof Rubber Gasket is attached around the Spin
Base.
5. Insert the Blades and Spin Base into the bottom of the Glass Jar
and turn clockwise until the Glass Jar and the Spin Base lock into
place.
6. Place the Glass Jar onto the Motor Housing. Ensure the Motor
Drive Coupling and the ttings located on top of the Motor Housing
are aligned and that the Blade Assembly/Spin Base of the Glass Jar is
securely in place inside the Motor Housing.
7. Place the Plastic Lid on top of the Glass Jar and secure it into
position.
To Use
1. Wash the ingredients you want to blend and cut them into pieces
small enough to t into the Plastic Lid Feeding Hole.
2. Once cleaned and cut, add the ingredients into the blender through
the Plastic Lid Feeding Hole.
NOTE:The Glass Jar has a six cup (48 oz. / 1.5 liter) capacity. Do
not overload the Glass Jar with ingredients.

COMO ARMAR EL PRODUCTO
ADVERTENCIA:Para evitar daños al producto o lesiones personales
serias:
•NO prenda o enchufe el producto en el tomacorriente hasta que el
producto sea armado por completo.
• Las cuchillas de este producto son bien aladas. Maneje el producto con
cuidado.
1. Asegúrese que el producto esté desconectado del tomacorriente.
2. Coloque la caja del motor en una supercie plana y estable.
3. Lave y seque el recipiente de vidrio.
4. Asegúrese que el empaque de goma para sellar esté colocado alrededor
de la base giratoria.
5. Coloque la junta de cuchillas y base giratoria en la parte inferior del
recipiente de vidrio y gire en el sentido del reloj hasta que el recipiente y la
base giratoria caigan en posición.
6. Coloque la jarra de vidrio sobre la caja del motor. Asegúrese que el
acoplamiento del motor y los encajes localizados en la parte superior de
la caja del motor estén alineados y que la junta de cuchillas / base
giratoria del recipiente de vidrio estén rmemente en su lugar dentro de la
caja del motor.

3. After lling the Glass Jar with ingredients, secure the Plastic Lid with
Feeding Hole into position. Plug the product into a standard 120-volt AC
electrical outlet.
4. Push the desired blender speed button.
CAUTION: NEVER operate the product’s motor for more than a few minutes
at a time. Select and depress a blender speed button, allow the motor to cool
for a few seconds; then press the blender speed button again until you achieve
the desired results.
5. To turn off the product, press the “OFF”Button.
6. Unplug the product from the electrical outlet when nished blending
ingredients, when the product is not in use, or if leaving it unattended.
CAUTION: DO NOT use the product for blending heavy foods or thick
mixtures.
NOTE:The “PULSE” Button can be used for more control during short
processing jobs to run the blender motor at a high speed. When nished
processing ingredients with the “PULSE” Button feature, release the “PULSE”
Button to turn the Pulse function off.
Cleaning and Maintenance
WARNING: ALWAYS unplug the product from the electrical outlet before
assembling, disassembling, or cleaning it.
• If the product’s motor does not run freely while blending ingredients, perform
one or more of the following steps, as necessary:
o Press the “OFF”Button and add water to the ingredients
o Press the “PULSE” Button for a few minutes to see if the motor will blend
more freely
o Press the “OFF”Button, unplug the blender from the electrical outlet, and
use a rubber spatula to clear the sides of the Glass Jar and push the
ingredients toward the Blades
o Reduce the amount of ingredients inside of the Glass Jar
• Clean the product immediately after each use. Before cleaning, remove the
Glass Jar from the Motor Housing and the Plastic Lid, Blades and Spin Base
from the Glass Jar.
• Use a small toothbrush (not included) to remove particles of food lodged
underneath the Blades.
• Clean the exterior surface of the Motor Housing by wiping it with a soft, damp
cloth.
• DO NOT use abrasive cleaners or scouring pads to clean the product.
• To clean the Glass Jar, add ¼ teaspoon of liquid soap to the Glass Jar and
ll with warm water. Place the Glass Jar on the Motor Housing and press the
“PULSE” Button several times for a few seconds. Remove the Glass Jar from
the Motor Housing and rinse the Glass Jar underneath running water.
CAUTION: DO NOT place the Glass Jar and the Plastic Lid into a dish
washer or in extremely hot water.
• Dry ALL product parts thoroughly before storing.
• Store the product in a clean, dry place with the Plastic Lid removed from the
Glass Jar. 6

COMO USAR EL PRODUCTO
1. Lave los ingredientes que desee mezclar y córtelos en pedazos
sucientemente pequeños para que quepan por la abertura de la tapa.
2. Una vez limpiados y cortados, añada los ingredientes a la licuadora por la
abertura de la tapa.
AVISO:LA JARRA DE VIDRIO TIENE UNA CAPACIDAD DE SEIS TAZAS
(48 oz. / 1.5 litros). NO sobrecargue el recipiente de vidrio con ingredientes.
3. Luego de llenar el recipiente con los ingredientes, asegure la tapa de
plástico en posición. Enchufe el producto en un tomacorriente estándar de
120 voltios.
4. Presione el botón de la velocidad deseada.
PRECAUCION:NUNCA opere el motor del producto por más de varios
minutos al mismo tiempo. Seleccione y oprima un botón de velocidad y
permita que el motor se enfríe por varios segundos; luego oprima el botón
de velocidad nuevamente hasta que alcance el resultado deseado.
5. Para apagar el producto oprima el botón “OFF”.
6. Desenchufe el producto del tomacorriente cuando termine de mezclar los
ingredientes, cuando el producto no esté en uso o si lo va a dejar
desatendido.
PRECAUCION: NO use el producto para mezclar alimentos pesados o
mezclas espesas.
AVISO:El botón “PULSE” puede utilizarse para mayor control durante
trabajos de procesamiento corto, para operar el motor de la licuadora a alta
velocidad. Cuando termine de procesar los ingredientes con la característica
del botón “PULSE”, libere el botón “PULSE” para descontinuar esta
función.
Limpieza y Mantenimiento
ADVERTENCIA:SIEMPRE desconecte el enchufe del producto del
tomacorriente antes de armar, desarmar o limpiar el mismo.
• Si el motor del producto no funciona libremente mientras mezcla los
ingredientes, realice uno o varios de los siguientes pasos como sea
necesario:
o Presione el botón “OFF” y añada agua a los ingredientes
o Presione el botón “PULSE” por algunos minutos y el motor mezcla
libremente.
o Presione el botón “OFF”, desconecte la licuadora del tomacorriente y use
una espátula de goma para limpiar los lados del recipiente de vidrio y
empujar los ingredientes hacia las cuchillas.
o Reduzca la cantidad de ingredientes dentro del recipiente de vidrio.
• Limpie el producto inmediatamente después de cada uso. Antes de limpiar,
remueva el recipiente de vidrio de la caja del motor y remueva la tapa de
plástico, las cuchillas y la base giratoria del recipiente de vidrio.

• Use un cepillo dental pequeño (no incluído) para remover las partículas
de comida alojadas debajo de las cuchillas.
• Limpie la supercie exterior de la caja del motor con un paño húmedo
suave.
• NO use productos abrasivos o estropajos para limpiar el producto.
• Para limpiar el recipiente de vidrio, añada ¼ de cucharadita de jabón
líquido en el recipiente y llénelo con agua tibia. Coloque el recipiente de
vidrio en la caja del motor y oprima el botón “PULSE” varias veces por
algunos segundos. Remueva el recipiente de la caja del motor y
enjuáguelo con agua.
PRECAUCION:NO coloque el recipiente de vidrio o la tapa de plástico
en el lavaplatos o en agua extremadamente caliente.
• Seque bien las partes del producto antes de guardarlas.
• Guarde el producto en un lugar limpio y seco junto con la tapa de
plástico removida del recipiente de vidrio.
