The purpose of the umbrella is to provide shade from the sun.
When adjusting the umbrella, make sure no person(s) or any item(s) are close to the
umbrella. This is important in preventing injury or damage to anyone or anything.
It is best to remove the upper half of the umbrella from the base or table and store in
the convenient storage bag when not in use and also in the off season.
The manufacturer or retailer is not liable for any loss, or damage of the product, or
other items due to the failure of not removing the umbrella from an umbrella base-
table during windy-stormy conditions.
Assemble on a soft, clean, non-abrasive surface to avoid scratching the metal finish
or hurting the umbrella fabric.
Use a heavy or weighted umbrella base to stabilize the umbrella.
This outdoor umbrella is designed and made for personal non-commercial use. It
should not be used as a toy or a tool. Children under age of 16 should not be
engaged in assembly, removal or disassembly. Children under age of 10 should be
supervised by a competent adult while using this umbrella.

1. The Plastic Cap(A) and Finial(B) have been assembled together, both of them are
seperated from the umbrella(D).

3. To install the Solar Panel(C), first remove the Plastic Cap(A) from Finial(B) by
turning counter-clockwise approximately 1/4 turn and pulling apart. (Fig. 2)

2. Insert Finial(B) into the Umbrella(D) by turning clockwise until it is secure. (Fig. 1)
1. Carefully remove the umbrella from box.

5. Insert and secure the Bottom Pole(E) into an umbrella base (sold separately). (Fig. 4)

4. Insert the Solar Panel(C) into the Finial(B) and turn clockwise approximately 1/4 turn

6. Insert Umbrella(D) into Bottom Pole(E) ensuring that the botton on the Umbrella(D)
NOTE: To increase the lifespan of the Solar Panel(C), it is recommended it be removed

7. Crank the handle on Umbrella(D) clockwise until opened. (Fig. 6)
8. Slowly continue cranking in a clockwise direction for your desired tilt. (Fig. 7)
Do not continue to crank in a clockwise direction once the umbrella stops tilting.

NOTE:
9. To operate LED lights, press the rocker switch located on the crank housing on/off.
a) The Finial(B) contains 2pcs lithium batteries (2 x 2200mAh). When there is sunlight
on the Solar Panel it will charge the batteries.
b) The batteries can also be charged using the included 100-240 VAC Adapter(F) by
plugging it into the crank housing as shown. Charging time is approximately 4~5 hours.
c) Red light on the Adapter(F) indicates there is power.
d) Keep Umbrella unplugged and the Adapter(F) stored in a dry location when not in use.

POSSIBLE CAUSE
The umbrella

work
1. Turn the switch into the ON position and ensure that the Solar Panel is
charge to the batteries.
2. If the lights do not work with the Solar Panel, plug in the adapter cord. If the
lights come on, the batteries may not have had a sufficient charge.
3. If the lights do not work after troubleshooting steps 1 ~ 2, please contact
customer service to further diagnose the problem.
