This Operator’s Manual contains a great deal o use ul in ormation. We urge you to read it care ully and amiliarize
yoursel with the vehicle be ore driving.
For your own sa ety and longer service li e o the vehicle, we urge you to ollow the instructions and warnings
contained in this manual. Ignoring them could result in damage to the vehicle or personal injury to you or others.
Vehicle damage caused by ailure to ollow instructions is not covered by the Mercedes-Benz Limited Warranty.
Your vehicle may have some or all o the equipment described in this manual. There ore, you may ind explanations
or optional equipment not installed in your vehicle. I you have any questions about the operation o any equipment,
your authorized Mercedes-Benz Center will be glad to demonstrate the proper procedures.

Mercedes-Benz, including:

Important notice for California retail buyers of Mercedes-Benz automobiles
Under Cali ornia law you may be entitled to a replacement o your vehicle or a re und o the purchase price or lease
price, i Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC and/or its authorized repair or service acilities ail to ix one ore more substantial
de ects or mal unctions in the vehicle that are covered by its express warranty a ter a reasonable number o repair
attempts. During the period o 18 months rom original delivery o the vehicle or the accumulation o 18 000 miles on
the odometer o the vehicle, whichever occurs irst, a reasonable number o repair attempts is presumed or a retail
buyer or lessee i one or more o the ollowing occurs: (1) the same substantial de ect or mal unction results in a
condition that is likely to cause death or serious bodily injury i the vehicle is driven, that de ect or mal unction has
been subject to repair two or more times, and you have directly noti ied Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC in writing o the
need or its repair and have given us a direct opportunity to per orm a repair ourselves, (2) the same substantial de ect
or mal unction o a less serious nature than category (1) has been subject to repair our or more times and you have
directly noti ied us o the need or its repair and given us the opportunity to repair ourselves, or (3) the vehicle is out
o service by reason o repair o the same or di erent substantial de ects or mal unctions or a cumulative total o
more than 30 calender days. Written noti ication should be sent to us, not a dealer, at Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC,
Customer Assistance Center, One Mercedes Drive, Montvale, NJ 07645-0350.
Maintenance
The Service Booklet describes all the necessary maintenance work which should be per ormed at regular intervals.
Always have the Service Booklet with you when you take the vehicle to your authorized Mercedes-Benz Center or
service. The service advisor will record each service in the booklet or you.

Operating your vehicle outside the USA or Canada
I you plan to operate your vehicle in oreign countries, please be aware that:
•Service acilities or replacement parts may not be readily available,
•unleaded gasoline or vehicles with catalytic converters may not be available; the use o leaded uels will damage
the catalysts,
•gasoline may have a considerably lower octane rating, and improper uel can cause engine damage.

(NHTSA) in addition to noti ying Mercedes-Benz USA, LLC.
I NHTSA receives similar complaints, it may open an investigation, and i it inds that a sa ety
de ect exists in a group o vehicles, it may order a recall and remedy campaign. However, NHTSA
cannot become involved in individual problems between you, your dealer, or Mercedes-Benz USA,
LLC.
