INTELLIGENT USE OF YOUR MIALLEGRO®
CONVECTION TOASTER OVEN
The intelligent use of your Miallegro®Convection Toaster
Oven begins with reading these instructions especially the
basic safety precautions on any small appliance.
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS WHILE COOKING:
• Readtheseinstructionsbeforeuse.
• Whileusingtheovensomesurfaceswillbe hot, do not
touch those surfaces. Use the handle.
• To protect against the risk of electrical shock, do not
immerse the cord or plug in water or other liquid.
• Donotletthepowercordhangovertheedgeofatable
or counter. Avoid letting the cord come in contact with
hot surfaces.
• Do not operate the oven if the power cord or plug is
damaged or faulty.
• Only authorized service personnel should repair the
appliance or replace the power cord. Faulty, unqualified
repairs may cause hazards or damage the appliance.
• Usingaccessoriesnotrecommendedbythemanufacturer
may be dangerous or harmful.
• Do not place this appliance close to a gas or electric
stovetop, microwaves or another Miallegro®oven that are
powered on.
• When using your oven allow for a ten (10) centimeter
space on each side to allow adequate air circulation.
• AlwaysunplugyourConvectionToasterOvenwhennotin
use and wait until it cools before cleaning.
• Todisconnect,pressthe“Stop/Cancel”buttontwice,then
remove the plug from the outlet. Always remove from the
plug, never pull on the power cord.
• Donotcoveranypartoftheovenwithpaperorpiecesof
metal as it may cause the oven to overheat.
• Useextremecautionwhenremovingthetrayorhotgrease
deposits or other hot liquids.
• Do not use a metallic sponge to clean your Miallegro®
oven. Parts of the sponge may fall or touch electrical parts
that may create an electrical shock risk.
• Avoidinsertinglarge foods or metallicutensilslikeforks
or knives in your oven as it may cause a fire or risk of
electrical shock.
• Always use appropriate holders when inserting or
removing any article inside while the oven is hot. Always
protect your hands.
Important Safeguards

• Theadjacentsurfacescanbecomehotwhiletheovenisinuse.
• The oven may cause a re if while in use it is covered
by flammable materials such as: curtains, pendants or
partitions, etc.
• Avoidusingcontainersnotmadeofmetalorglass.
• Do not insert the following materials inside your oven:
cardboard, plastic, paper or similar.
• Whentheovenisnotinuse,donotstorematerialsthat
are not recommended accessories by the manufacturer.
• The Miallegro®Convection Toaster Oven 5380 has a
tempered glass door that is stronger and more secure
than ordinary glass and better resistant against blows. The
tempered glass can break but it won’t break in slivers or
chips of glass.
• ThisovenisdesignedforHOUSEHOLD USE ONLY.
• Donotuseoutdoors.
• Usecautionwiththeglassdoorcornerswheninuse.
• Theweightofthefoodplacedonthetrayorrackshould
not exceed 4.5 lbs. Do not place the food only on one
side of the tray, it will bake better if the food is evenly
distributed.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
BEFORE INITIAL USE:
Before using your Miallegro®Convection Toaster Oven for
the first time please:
• Readtheseinstructionsentirely.
• Unpacktheunit.
• Removethetraysandcontainers.Washthemwithsoapy
water or in a dishwasher.
• Completely dry all accessories and place them in the
oven, then plug in your oven to the electrical outlet for
15 minutes to eliminate any packing residue it may have
acquired during shipping.
You are now ready to create fabulous meals and special
momentswithyourlovedones.EnjoyusingyourMiallegro®
Convection Toaster Oven.

Miallegro®recommends keeping these instructions handy.
CONNECTION INSTRUCTIONS:
Your Miallegro®Convection Toaster Oven comes equipped
withapolarizedplug(onebladeiswiderthantheother).To
reduce the risk of electrical shock the plug should be placed
in the electrical outlet correctly. If the plug does not fit inside
the electrical outlet, turn the plug around. If it still does not
fit contact a qualified electrician.
POWER CORD:
The Miallegro®Convection Toaster Oven comes with a short
power cord to reduce the risk of tripping or tangling as with a
long cord. A power extension cord may be used when necessary.
• Power extension cords are available and may be used
with caution.
• Ifanpowerextensioncordisuseditshouldbewithinthe
specific range of the appliance.

• TheMiallegro®Convection Toaster Oven is a valuable tool
because of the benefits it offers in saving time and energy.
• It is a versatile small appliance that can perform many
tasks in preparing foods in an easy way: baking, toasting,
heating, defrosting, broiling, dehydrating and uniform
convection cooking.
• TheMiallegro®oven offers an option to dehydrate food.
A useful function to dry fruits, vegetables and herbs that
preserve food and avoid spoiling. Make delicious snacks or
use them in your favorite dishes to add flavor and color.
• TheMiallegro®oven is designed to bake or heat an entire
pizza as large as 12in. The back of the oven is equipped
with a rounded pizza bump to accommodate the shape
of the pizza.
• The digital panel is designed with pre-programmed
buttons to assist in selecting the perfect function and
will adjust the time and temperature according to the
specific need.
• The elegant and high technology design makes this a
valuable tool for the home. The stainless steel and mirrored
front beautifies and visually expands your living space.

RACK

Specially designed handle stays cool to the touch to avoid

GLASS DOOR
The oven door is made of secured tempered glass. This glass
is stronger than ordinary glass and better resistant to blows
and tears; it is breakable, but it will not break in glass slivers
or chips.
REMOVABLE DRIP TRAY
Makes cleaning easily. Tray is designed to collect residue and
small crumbs to maintain the cleanliness of your oven.

Programmable Functions of the Convection Toaster Oven
The OVEN Button on your 5380 Miallegro®Convection
Toaster Oven can be used to bake, as well as to cook or
broil evenly.
HOW TO USE THE OVEN FUNCTION
• Plugintheoventothepoweroutlet.
• Opentheovenandplacefoodinside.
• Press the OVEN button once to program the oven. On
the screen you will see OVEN - BAKE - POWER 400°F,
(205°C) (Function Oven Power 400°F). The temperature
setting is between 150° – 450°F. You can set the desired
temperature by pressing the arrow buttons . The
temperaturewillriseandlowerin25°F(40°C)increments.
• PresstheTIMEbutton.Theremainingtimeforthefunction
selected will be displayed. Press the arrow buttons
toadjustthecookingtime(themaximumtimeis
90minutes).
• PresstheSTARTbutton,thetimerwillstartthecountdown.
• When the program is nished running the oven will
beep continuously.
• Unplugtheovenandletitcoolcompletelybeforecleaning.
USING THE BROIL FAN OR EVEN BROIL
• Plugintheoventothepoweroutlet.
• Opentheovenandplacefoodinside.
• PresstheOVENbuttonthree(3)timestobroilevenly.The
screen will display OVEN - FAN - BROIL - POWER 450°F,
(232°C)(BROILEVENLYFUNCTION–POWER450°F).The
required temperature is 450°F or 232°C.
• PresstheTIMEbutton.Theremainingtimeforthefunction
selected will be displayed. Press the arrow buttons
to adjust the cooking time (the maximum time is 90
minutes).
• PresstheSTARTbutton,thetimerwillstartthecountdown.
• Whentheprogramisnishedrunningtheovenwillbeep
continuously.
• Unplugtheovenandletitcoolcompletelybeforecleaning.

USING THE TOAST FUNCTION
• Plugintheoventothepoweroutlet.
• Placethe rack in the center of the oven. Arrange bread
evenly on the rack.
• PresstheTOASTbutton.ThescreenwilldisplayTOAST,03,
POWER.
• Therearesix(6)toastinglevelsavailable,pressthearrow
buttons to select desired level.
• PresstheSTARTbutton,thetimerwillstartthecountdown.
• When the program is nished running the oven will
beep continuously.
• Unplugtheovenandletitcoolcompletelybeforecleaning.
USING THE PIZZA FUNCTION
• Plugintheoventothepoweroutlet.
• Place the rack in the center of the oven. Place pizza on
the rack.
• Press the PIZZA button. The screen will display POWER,
PIZZA,TIMER,20:00.
• Setthedesiredcooktimebypressingthearrowbuttons
toadjusttime(themaximumtimeis90minutes).
• PresstheSTARTbutton,thetimerwillstartthecountdown.
• When the program is nished running the oven will
beep continuously.
• Unplugtheovenandletitcoolcompletelybeforecleaning.

USING THE DEFROST FUNCTION
• Plugintheoventothepoweroutlet.
• Opentheovenandplacefoodinside.
• PresstheDEFROSTbutton.ThescreenwilldisplayPOWER,
TIMER, DEFROST, 30:00.
• Setthedesireddefrosttimebypressingthearrowbuttons
toadjusttime(themaximumtimeis90minutes).
• PresstheSTARTbutton,thetimerwillstartthecountdown.
• When the program is nished running the oven will
beep continuously.
• Unplugtheovenandletitcoolcompletelybeforecleaning.
USING THE DEHYDRATE FUNCTION
• Plugintheoventothepoweroutlet.
• Opentheovenandplacefoodinside.
• Press the DEHYDRATE button. The screen will display
POWER, TIMER, DEH, 30:00.
• Setthedesireddefrosttimebypressingthearrowbuttons
toadjusttime(themaximumtimeis90minutes).
• PresstheSTARTbutton,thetimerwillstartthecountdown.
• When the program is nished running the oven will
beep continuously.
• Unplugtheovenandletitcoolcompletelybeforecleaning.

Cleaning and Care
• ALWAYS DISCONNECT THE OVEN AND LET IT COOL
BEFORE CLEANING.
• Topreventtheriskofelectricalshockdonotimmersethe
oven, power cord or plug in water or other liquid.
• The 5380 oven can be cleaned very easily. It can be
cleaned with a damp cloth with mild soap. Do not use
metal sponges or abrasive detergents or scrape the sides
with metal utensils, as you will damage the interior.
• Theaccessoriesmaybecleanedwithsoapywarmwateror
in a dishwasher.
• Theovendoorcanbecleanedwithadampclothanddried
with a paper towel or dry towel.
VERY IMPORTANT
• DO NOT USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS AS IT MAY
DAMAGE THE EXTERIOR.
• DO NOT USE ABRASIVE CLEANERS OR A METAL
SPONGE ON THE DRIP TRAY AS IT MAY DAMAGE
THE FINISH.
• COMPLETELY DRY ALL SURFACES AND PARTS.
CHILDREN AND THE 5380 OVEN
(OR ANY MIALLEGRO®SMALL APPLIANCE)
It is important for your family’s safety and wellbeing to be
attentive when the oven is in use while children are present.
STORAGE
Disconnect the oven and allow it to cool before storing. Store
your Miallegro®Convection Toaster Oven in the packaging it
came with in a clean, dry place. Never store the oven while it
is hot or plugged in. Never wrap the cord tightly around the
oven. Do not extend the power cord with too much tension
when connected to the wall outlet as it may damage the cord
and plug.

USO INTELIGENTE DE SU HORNO
MIALLEGRO®ASADOR-CONVECCION
El uso inteligente de su horno Miallegro®Asador-Convección
comienza leyendo las instrucciones y en especial las precauciones
básicas de seguridad de cualquier aparato eléctrico.
COCINAR INTELIGENTE ES
HACERLO DE MANERA SEGURA:
• Leatodaslasinstruccionesantesdeusarlo.
• Alusarelhornoalgunassuperciesestaráncalientes,evite
tocarlas. Use las asas o perillas.
• Para protegerse contra choques eléctricos, no sumerja el
cable o enchufe del horno en agua o cualquier otro líquido.
• Nodejeelcablecolgandosobrelaorilladelamesaodel
tope de la cocina ni que toque superficies calientes.
• No opere el horno con el cable o enchufe dañado, o
después de un mal funcionamiento.
• El horno Miallegro®Asador-Convección solo puede ser
ajustadooreparadoporpersonaltécnicocalicado.
• Elusodeaccesoriosnorecomendadosporelfabricante,
puede causar peligro o daño.
• No lo coloque sobre o cerca de quemadores a gas o
eléctricos, hornos microondas o sobre algún otro horno
Miallegro®que se encuentre encendido.
• Cuandoopereelhornodejealmenosdiez(10)centímetros
de espacio en cada lado, para permitir una adecuada
circulación de aire.
• Desconecteelhornodeltomacorrientesotomaeléctrica
cuando no esté en uso y espere que se enfríe antes de
limpiarlo.
• Para desconectarlo, presione dos veces la tecla “Parar/
Cancelar”, luego remueva  el conector o enchufe del
tomacorriente. Siempre hágalo por el enchufe, nunca hale
el cable.
• Nocubraningunapartedelhornoconpapelopiezasde
metal, ya que puede causar sobrecalentamiento del horno.
• Seaextremadamentecuidadosocuandoremuevalabandeja
o depósitos de grasa caliente u otros líquidos calientes.
• No limpie su horno Miallegro® con esponjas metálicas.
Partesdelaesponjapuedencaerytocarparteseléctricas,
creando el riesgo de choque eléctrico.
• Evite colocar alimentos de gran tamaño o utensilios
metálicos como tenedores y cuchillos entre otros, ya que
pueden ocasionar fuego o riesgo de choque eléctrico.
• Use siempre agarraderos, cuando introduzca o saque
artículosdelhornocaliente.Protejasusmanos.
• Las supercies adyacentes son susceptibles a calentarse
cuando el horno esta en operación.

• Se puede producir fuego si el horno durante su
funcionamiento es cubierto o está tocando material
inflamable tales como: cortinas, colgantes, tabiques, etc.
• Eviteusar contenedoreshechosde otromaterialque no
sea metal o vidrio.
• Nointroduzcalossiguientesmaterialesenelhorno:cartón,
plástico, papel o similares.
• Cuandoelhorno noestéenuso,noalmaceneenel los
materiales que no sean recomendados como accesorios,
por el fabricante.
• El horno Miallegro®5380 posee una puerta de vidrio
templado, de seguridad que es más fuerte que el vidrio
ordinario y más resistente a golpes y rupturas. El vidrio
templado puede romperse, pero sus trozos no tendrán
astillas u orillas agudas.
• El horno Miallegro®está diseñado SOLO PARA USO
DOMESTICO.
• Nolousealairelibre.
• Tengaespecialcuidadoconlasesquinasdelapuertadesu
horno en el momento en que lo esté operando.
• El peso de los alimentos que son colocados en la
bandejaorejillanodebeexcederlos2kilogramosyevite
concentrarlosenunsololadodelabandeja,lograramejor
cocción si distribuye los alimentos de manera uniforme.
GUARDE ESTAS INSTRUCCIONES
ANTES DE USARLO POR PRIMERA VEZ:
• AntesdeusarsuhornoMiallegro®Asador-Convección por
primera vez lo invitamos a:
• Leertodaslasinstruccionesenestemanual.
• Desempaquelaunidad
• Remueva todas las bandejas y recipientes. Lávelos con
agua espumosa o lavaplatos.
• Sequecompletamentetodos losaccesoriosy vuélvalosa
colocar en el horno y ya puede conectarlo a la corriente
eléctrica por 15 minutos para eliminar algún aceite del
empaque que pueda quedar después de su transporte.
Y ya está listo para comenzar a realizar fabulosos platos,
crear momentos especiales con los suyos y disfrutar de su
nuevo horno Miallegro Asador-Convección.

Miallegro®le recomienda mantener a la mano estas
instrucciones.
INSTRUCCIONES PARA LA CONEXIÓN:
Su horno Miallegro®Asador-Convección viene equipado con
unenchufepolarizado(unahojaesmásanchaquelaotra).
Para reducir el riesgo de choque eléctrico, este enchufe debe
ser colocado en la salida polarizada del toma corriente, en
un solo sentido. Si el enchufe no entra completamente en el
tomacorriente, voltéelo. Si aun así no entra completamente,
contacte un electricista calificado.
CABLE DE ALIMENTACIÓN:
El horno Miallegro®viene equipado con un cable corto de
alimentación eléctrica para reducir el riesgo resultante de
enredos o tropiezos con un cable largo. Aun así tiene la
opción de usar extensiones en casos necesarios.
• Extensiones están disponibles y pueden usarse, si se
manejanconcuidado.
• Si usa una extensión debe ser por lo menos dentro del
rango especificado en el aparato.
