Micralite was born out of curiosity. The curiosity of two dad engineers who
noticed that a lot of baby brands existed merely to help parents ‘cope’ with
having a baby. They wanted to change this. They wanted to create products that
made parenthood ‘life-enhancing’, rather than ‘life-inhibiting’. Their engineering
knowledge and rst-hand parenting experience lead them to create the rst
truly hybrid stroller.
One that combines the robust build of an all-terrain stroller with both
manoeuvrability and a quick, easy to use fold. Every element of our products,
from the all-terrain wheels to the unique patented one-handed fold, has been
thoughtfully engineered to help parents get out there with ease.

SAFETY NOTES
Your SmartFold pushchair is a high quality
Micralite product.
It complies with EN: 1888-1:2015 + EN:1888-
2:2016 and with correct use and maintenance
will give good service. If,however you should
have any problems with your pushchair, please
contact your Micralite retailer who will take
appropriate action.
The SmartFold chassis is designed and tested
to be used with the SmartFold seat, Micralite
Carrycot and specied Car seats (Micralite
Carrycot and compatible car seats sold
separately).
This SmartFold chassis is suitable from birth
up to 9kg, only when using the Micralite
Carrycot. Micralite carrycot complies with
EN1466:2014
The main seat is suitable from 6 months up
to 22kg, only when being used on the
Micralite SmartFold chassis or Micralite
TwoFold chassis.
Check the wheels are secure by gently pulling
the wheels away from the chassis.
Always check when using the parking brake it
is fully engaged by gently moving the chassis
backwards and forwards.
To ensure your SmartFold chassis folds
correctly, remove all items from the shopping
basket before attempting to fold.
Only use replacement parts and accessories
supplied or recommended by Micralite.

FITTED BEFORE USE.

CHECK THAT THE SEAT UNIT, CARRYCOT

ENGAGED BEFORE USE, BY USING ALL PRESS
STUDS,VELCRO AND UNIVERSAL CAR SEAT
ADAPTERS.
THIS PRODUCT IS NOT SUITABLE FOR
RUNNING OR SKATING.
THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILD IS YOUR
RESPONSIBILITY.
ALWAYS APPLY THE PARKING BRAKE WHEN
YOU ARE STANDING STILL.

PLACING AND REMOVING THE CHILD.

THE BUMPER BAR MUST BE SECURELY
CONNECTED AT BOTH SIDES AT ALL TIMES
WHEN IN USE. THE SAFETY OF YOUR CHILD IS
YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.
DO NOT LIFT THE SEAT VIA THE BUMPER BAR
WHILST A CHILD IS IN PLACE.THE BUMPER
BAR IS NOT A CARRY HANDLE.
ALWAYS USE THE CROTCH STRAP IN
COMBINATION WITH THE WAIST STRAP.
THE HARNESS CAN FORM LOOPS WHICH
MAY BE A STRANGULATION HAZARD. NEVER
LEAVE THE HARNESS CONNECTED WHEN NOT
FITTED TO A CHILD IN THE PUSHCHAIR.
WINTER / SUMMER CLOTHING CAN MAKE
A DIFFERENCE TO THE SIZE OF YOUR CHILD.
BEFORE YOU USE THE PUSHCHAIR SEAT,
THE HARNESS MUST BE ADJUSTED TO SUIT
THE SIZE OF YOUR CHILD. ALWAYS USE THE
HARNESS.
ANY SPECIFIED CAR SEATS MUST ALWAYS BE
REARWARD FACING.
CHECK THAT ANY SPECIFIED CAR SEAT IS
CORRECTLY SECURED BEFORE USE.
SPECIFIED CAR SEATS DO NOT REPLACE A COT
OR BED. SHOULD YOUR CHILD NEED TO SLEEP,
THEY SHOULD BE PLACED IN A SUITABLE
PRAM BODY OR COT.
DUE CARE SHOULD BE TAKEN WHEN FOLDING
AND UNFOLDING THE CHASSIS. PLEASE
ENSURE FOLDING MECHANISMS ARE
KEPT CLEAR TO AVOID POSSIBLE FINGER
ENTRAPMENTS OR INJURIES TO PARTS OF
THE BODY.
BEFORE FOLDING THE SMARTFOLD CHASSIS,
THE UNIVERSAL CAR SEAT ADAPTORS MUST
BE REMOVED, OTHERWISE DAMAGE WILL BE
CAUSED.
THE CARRYCOT IS ONLY SUITABLE FOR A
CHILD WHO CANNOT SIT UP UNAIDED.
ONLY USE THE CARRYCOT ON A FIRM,
HORIZONTAL LEVEL AND DRY SURFACE.
DO NOT USE THE CARRYCOT IF ANY PART IS
BROKEN, TORN OR MISSING.
DO NOT USE ANY OTHER MATTRESS ON TOP
OF THE MATTRESS PROVIDED.
THE HEAD OF THE CHILD SHOULD NEVER BE
LOWER THAN THE TOE OF THE CHILD.
ALWAYS USE THE RIDGED HANDLE PROVIDED
ON THE CARRYCOT.
BEFORE LIFTING THE CARRYCOT MAKE SURE
THE HANDLE IS FIXED IN PLACE.
TO AVOID POSSIBLE INJURY OR DAMAGE,
ALWAYS ENSURE THE FOLD LOCK HAS BEEN
ENGAGED BEFORE LIFTING AND CARRYING
THE CHASSIS.
CARRYTHE FOLDED CHASSIS USING THE
MAIN HANDLE.
ANY LOAD ATTACHED TO THE HANDLE AND/OR
ON THE BACK OF THE BACKREST AND/OR ON
THE SIDES OF THE PUSHCHAIR WILL AFFECT
THE STABILITY.

manufacturing faults, when the product is
used correctly according to the instruction
manual.

SUNSHADE AND RAINCOVER
IMPORTANT INFORMATION:
In the interest of safety DO NOT use covers
indoors or when stationary in the warm still air.
Always check that the child is not overheating,
the child is your responsibility.
DO NOT store near a direct heat source and
KEEP AWAY FROM FIRE.
Do not hang shopping bags or other objects
from the handle. This may cause the pushchair
to tip up. Extra shopping or luggage should
only be carried in the basket and should not
exceed 3kg in weight, evenly distributed.
Never try to fold your SmartFold when the
child is seated as this may trap the child.
If you have difculty in folding or unfolding
the pushchair, do not force. This will cause
damage. Do not t accessories or spare parts
other than those supplied or recommended
by Micralite. If anyone other than the owner is
going to use the pushchair (e.g. grandparent,
child minder), please show them how to use it
correctly.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Chassis
Always check your pushchair for signs of wear.
Regularly lubricate all moving parts. Check for
freedom of movement of all locking devices.
Polish metal work with a clean, dry cloth.
Fabric items and seat unit
For fabric wash care instructions please
refer to the care guide included with your
pram. Keep away from direct heat and strong
sunlight. A certain degree of fading may
occur over time through everyday use.Never
machine wash, tumble dry, iron or bleach.
Never leave accessories such as the Sunshade
or raincover where heat and light may
discolour the fabrics or distort the plastics,
e.g. on the car parcel shelf in hot weather.

Le châssis SmartFold est conçu et testé pour
être utilisé avec le siège SmartFold, la nacelle
Micralite et les sièges de voiture spéciés
(la nacelle Micralite et les sièges de voiture
compatibles sont vendus séparément).
Ce châssis SmartFold convient pour
des enfants ne pesant pas plus de 9 kg,
uniquement en utilisant la nacelle Micralite.
La nacelle Micralite est conforme à la norme
EN1466:2014.
Le siège principal convient pour des enfants
d’au moins 6 mois et ne pesant pas plus de
22 kg, uniquement lorsqu’il est utilisé sur le
châssis Micralite SmartFold ou sur le châssis
Micralite TwoFold.
Vériez que les roues sont immobilisées en les
tirant doucement pour les éloigner du châssis.
Lorsque vous utilisez le frein de
stationnement, vériez toujours qu’il est serré
à fond en déplaçant doucement le châssis
vers l’arrière et vers l’avant.
Pour plier correctement votre châssis
SmartFold, enlevez tout ce qui se trouve dans
le panier à provisions avant d’essayer de le
plier.
Utilisez uniquement des pièces de rechange
et accessoires fournis ou recommandés par
Micralite.

INFORMATION IMPORTANTE CONCERNANT LE
PARASOL ET LA HOUSSE PARE-PLUIE :
Pour des raisons de sécurité, n’utilisez PAS
les housses en intérieur ou à l’arrêt, dans un
environnement où l’air est chaud et stagnant.
Vériez toujours que l’enfant n’a pas trop
chaud, l’enfant est sous votre responsabilité.
N’entreposez PAS la poussette près d’une
source directe de chaleur et TENEZ-LA
TOUJOURS LOIN DU FEU.
N’accrochez pas de sacs ou d’autres objets
à la poignée. Ceci peut faire basculer la
poussette.Les bagages ou les sacs de
provisions ne doivent être transportés que
dans le panier, leur poids ne doit pas dépasser
3 kg et ils doivent être répartis uniformément.
N’essayez jamais de plier votre SmartFold
alors que l’enfant est assis car ceci pourrait
coincer l’enfant. Si vous avez des difcultés
à plier ou déplier la poussette,ne forcez pas.
Ceci pourrait l’endommager. N’installez pas
d’accessoires ou des pièces de rechange
autres que ceux fournis ou recommandés
par Micralite.Si une personne autre que
le propriétaire doit utiliser la poussette
(par exemple, grands-parents, assistante
maternelle),montrez-lui comment l’utiliser
correctement.

ENTRETIEN ET MAINTENANCE
Châssis
Vériez toujours votre poussette pour détecter
les signes d’usure. Graissez régulièrement
toutes les pièces mobiles. Vériez que tous
les dispositifs de verrouillage peuvent être
manœuvrés facilement. Polissez les pièces
métalliques à l’aide d’un chiffon propre et sec.
Éléments en textile et siège
Pour avoir des instructions concernant
l’entretien et le lavage des éléments en textile,
consultez le guide d’entretien fourni avec
votre poussette. Tenez toujours loin de la
chaleur directe et des rayons solaires directs.
Un certain degré de décoloration peut se
produire au l du temps dans le cadre d’une
utilisation quotidienne. Ne les lavez et ne les
séchez jamais à la machine,ne les repassez
jamais, n’utilisez jamais d’eau de javel.
Ne laissez jamais les accessoires, tels
que le pare-soleil ou la housse pare-pluie
à un endroit où la chaleur et la lumière
peuvent décolorer les tissus ou déformer les
plastiques, par exemple sur la tablette arrière
d’une voiture par temps chaud.
