2.4 Levelling theUnit
Todo thisadjustthetwolevellingfeetat thefrontoftheunit.
Iftheunit isnotlevel,thedoorand magnetic sealalignments
will not becoveredproperly.
Makesurethat thefoot touches theground beforeuse.
Lookdownfromthetop,clockwise andcounterclockwiseloosening,tightening.
2.5 Cleaning BeforeUse
Wipetheinsideoftheunitwithaweaksolutionofbicarbonatesoda.Thenrinsewith
warmwaterusinga spongeorcloth.Washtheshelvesandsaladbininwarmsoapy
waterand drycompletelybeforereplacingintheunit.Cleantheexterioroftheunitwitha
dampcloth.IfyourequiremoreinformationrefertotheCleaningsection.
2.6Before Using Your Unit
Donot damagethepowercordunderanyconditionsoasto ensuresafetyuse,do notusewhen
thepowercordisdamagedortheplugisworn.
Donot put flammable,explosive,volatileandhighlycorrosiveitems intherefrigeratorto prevent
damagesto theproductorfireaccidents.
Donotplaceflammableitems neartherefrigeratortoavoidfires.
Thisproductishouseholdrefrigeratorsandshall beonlysuitableforthestorageoffoods.
Accordingto nationalstandards,householdrefrigeratorsshall notbeusedforotherpurposes,
suchasstorageofblood,drugsorbiologicalproducts.
Donot placeitems suchasbottledorsealedcontaineroffluidsuchasbottledbeersand
beverages inthefreezertoprevent burstsand otherlosses.
Beforeplacinganyfoodinyourunit,turniton andwaitfor24 hours,tomakesureitis
workingproperlyandtoallowit timetofall tothecorrecttemperature.Yourunitshouldnot be
overfilled.

4.OPERATION
4.1Switching OnYourUnit
Thetemperatureselectorknobislocatedontherighthandsidewalloftherefrigeratorinterior

Setting Med NormalOperation(adequateformostsituations)
Setting Max Coolest Temperature
Duringhighambienttemperaturese.g.onhotsummerdays.Itmaybenecessary to setthe
continuouslyinordertomaintaina lowtemperatureinthecabinet.
Giveyourrefrigeratortimetocooldowncompletelybeforeaddingfood.Itisthebestto wait
24hoursbeforeaddingfood.The thermostat knobcontrolsthetemperature.
4.2NoiseInsidetheUnit!
Youmaynoticethatyourunitmakessomeunusualnoises.Mostoftheseareperfectlynormal,
but youshouldbeawareofthem!
These noises arecausedbythecirculationoftherefrigerantliquidinthecoolingsystem.It
hasbecome morepronouncedsincetheintroductionofCFCfree gases.Thisisnotafaultand
will notaffecttheperformanceofyourunit.Thisisthecompressormotorworking,asit
pumps therefrigerantaroundthesystem.
4.3TipsforKeepingFoodin theUnit
Cookedmeats/fishesshouldalways bestoredonashelfaboverawmeats/fishes toavoid
bacterialtransfer.Keeprawmeats/fishes inacontainerwhichislargeenoughtocollectjuices
and coveritproperly.Placethecontaineronthelowestshelf.
Leavespacearoundyourfood,toallowair tocirculateinsidetheunit.Ensureallpartsofthe
unitarekeptcool.
Topreventtransferoffavoursanddryingout,packorcoverthefood separately.Fruitand
vegetables do notneedto bewrapped.
Always letpre-cookedfoodcooldownbeforeyou putintheunit.Thiswillhelptomaintain
theinternaltemperatureoftheunit.
Topreventcoldairescapingfromtheunit,trytolimitthenumberoftimesyouopenthe
door. Werecommend that youonlyopenthedoorwhenyouneedtoput foodinortake
foodout.
