● Warranty period is one (1) year commencing from the delivery
date of the product.
● The product and all parts thereof are under the warranty of our
company.
● If the product breaks down during the warranty period, the period
of repair is added to the warranty period. The maximum period of
repair of the product is 20 working days. This period starts when the
product is delivered to a service centre, or in absence of a service
centre, to the seller, dealer, agency, representative, importer or
manufacturer in order.
● In the event that the product breaks down due to material or
workmanship faults or installation faults, it will be repaired free of
charge, without charging any fees due to labour, replaced part or
anything else.
● In the following events, the product shall be replaced free of
charge:
I-The product repeats the same defect more than twice or different
faults more than four in one year, however, in any case within the
warranty period, and as a result, periods during which meter is out
of service become continuous.
II-Maximum period necessary for its repair is exceeded.
III-With a report issued by a service centre, or in absence of a service
centre, by the seller, dealer, agency, representative, importer or
manufacturer in order, the repair of the meter is determined as
impossible.
● Breakdowns due to improper operation of the product not
observing the instructions in the operating manual are not covered
by warranty
● For problems with the warranty certificate, consumers may apply
to the Republic of Turkey Ministry of Science, Industry and
Technology, General Directorate of Protection of Consumers and
Competition.
● Failures arising from the use of product against the consideration
specified in the user’s guide are unguaranteed.

This warranty provided by Minos Agricultural Machinery does not cover any faults caused by
any abnormal or unintended use of the meter.
We declare:
● that during the warranty period, the product will operate flawlessly, if you use it in
accordance with its purpose and the enclosed instructions;
● that upon your request, we will repair any defect of the machine if you inform us of it
during the warranty period. The warranty takes effect from the date of purchase of the
product, evident from the certified warranty certificate and the receipt.
● The equipment is designed to tearing up the soil, emboss and aerate it, breaking up soil
clods, cutting alien meadows and pull up its roots to surface, mixing the seeds and mineral
manures which were thrown to soil surface, and hoeing the rows of plants when the
required settlements are made.
The warranty becomes invalid due to:
● failure to comply with the enclosed instructions;
● damage and faults caused by improper use;
● negligent handling of the product, overloading which leads to the fracture of any parts;
● interference with the product by an unauthorised person;
● damage caused by mechanical shock due to the fault of the buyer or a third person;
● damage caused by flooding, fire, lightning;
● damage and faults caused during transport, shipment, loading and unloading;
● damage and faults caused by fire, lightning, flood and earthquake (natural disasters),
inappropriate environment and accidents;
● faults caused by installation or connection of the meter not in compliance with the
installation and operating manual;
The warranty will be valid only for the period stated on the reverse side of this certificate
and the faults at the product, and no other right or damages under any reason whatsoever
can be claimed. In the events that the warranty certificate is destroyed or defaced, that the
serial number on the product is removed or destroyed, the warranty certificate will become
null and void. Any warranty certificate not bearing the seal and authorised signature of the
seller and the date of sale will not be valid.
MINOS is liable for damages it caused by intentional and deliberate damages, not for minor
negligence. Besides, it will not be liable for the results, including but not limited to the
interruption of business activities or loss from profit due to this reason, or any loss caused as
a result of the failure of a duty due to the breakdown of the product.
If there is any defect in the product, the defective product shall be sent to MINOS with risks
and expenses on customer’s account. The defects of the product will be removed by MINOS
by replacing a new one or repairing the same.

Dear Customer!
Parallel to the development of soil tillage methods, Minos has developed the horizontal
spring cultivator. This type of model can be produced in 5, 7, 9, 11, 13 and 15 legs. It is used
for tearing up the soil, emboss and aerate it, breaking up soil clods, cutting alien meadows
and pull up its roots to surface, mixing the seeds and mineral manures which were thrown to
soil surface, and hoeing the rows of plants when the required settlements are made. Duck
foot point and narrow type end iron can be attachable as optional.
Purposes are as follows:
●Provides more savings and will survive for many years.
● Cultivator keeps the moisture soil for it does not process the soil by overturning and it
hoes rows adjusting the changeable tines distances.
● Provides the best commincation between water, air and plant in the soil.
Carefully read the operation manual provided before you operate the equipment in order to
operate the equipment in accordance with its purpose and rules so that you avoid any threat
to your own life safety as well as the environment and other living organisms. Please pay
attention to all explanations and warnings.
The information in this operating manual provides information about the machine, how to
prepare it for operation, and the settings and maintenance of the equipment. Make sure
you read this information carefully and understand it before you operate your equipment.
This information is provided to make sure that you know your equipment inside out and
can get the highest performance out of it. The manufacturing company shall not be held
responsible for any accidents that arise to changes made to the equipment without the
support of technical staff or ill use of the equipment.
In the event that you experience an issue that has not been addressed in this manual,
contact our company for help; you must state the model and serial number of you
equipment in order for us to help you with your inquiry. This is necessary in order to resolve

a. The rules and cautions for transportation and carriage
Choose the correct forklift for the weight of the tool. Lift the tool from
its fulcrum positioned at its centre of gravity. Thread the steel cable through
the centre of gravity, hook it to the hook of the forklift, and safely transport
the equipment.
b. installation of the equipment
If the product has been shipped disassembled primarily leg attaches to the
chassis than fixing pins and bolts mount to the required place.
2- DELIVERY PREPARATION
● Do not stand under the equipment while it is being transported!
● Do not let anyone near or under the equipment in the area where it is
being transported by a forklift, crane, and pallet!
●Ensure that the hooks and cables of the forklift and crane are safe during
transportation!

c. Setting the Horizontal Spring Cultivator to Operation Mode and
Carry/Transport Mode
Follow these steps for hitching to a 3-point hitch attachment:
1. Move the stationary tractor drawbar forward for clearance.
2. Position the tractor so the pin holes of the draft arms are closely aligned with
the implement hitch points.
3. Raise or lower the draft arms to match the implement hitch points.
4. Stop the engine, securely park the tractor, set the brakes.
5. First attach left draft arm to the implement hitch point using the proper size
hitch pin and security clip. Right arm is adjustable and is connected next.
6. Remount and start the tractor to use the hydraulic system to raise the lift
arms if needed.
7. Match the top link of the 3- point hitch to the implement’s upper hitch point.
Raise the lift arms to lengthen, or drive ahead with implement down to shorten
to adjust if needed. The implement may not be level if the upper link has been
adjusted too many times. If it is out of level, the machine may not work
properly If you cannot level the machine, ask for help.
8. Securely attach the upper hitch pin with the proper size hitch pin and
security clip.

manures which were thrown to soil surface, and hoeing the rows of plants
when the required settlements are made. Duck foot point and narrow type
end iron can be attachable as optional.

The Horizontan spring cultivator has been designed for agricultural use only. In
the event that it is abused for whatever reason, the manufacturing company
shall not be held responsible for any accidents that arise; under such
circumstances the user shall be the sole obligant.
All recommendations made by the manufacturing company in relation to the
maintenance and fundamental operating rules of the equipment and all
instructions that must be taken into consideration are for the benefit and
safety of the user, and shall be accepted unconditionally.
All settings, operations, use, and maintenance-repair works for the tool prior to
operation shall be conducted by competent individuals.
While the tool is in operation, all related safety rules shall be adhered to, all
available technical safety precautions shall be on the machine in full, and the
user shall apply all recommended occupational health and safety precautions.
The user shall be the sole obligant of any accidents that arise as a result of
making changes to the tool without the technical support of the manufacturing
company. The manufacturing company shall not be held responsible under
such circumstances.
●Carefully read the operation manual provided before you operate the tool in
order to operate the tool in accordance with its purpose and rules so that you
avoid any threat to your own life safety as well as the environment and other
living organisms. Please pay attention to all explanations and warnings.
● The safety and warning labels (pictograms) positioned on the machine
provide important information to prevent accidents and safe operation. Paying
attention to these warning shall increase your safety and benefit. Immediately
replace any damaged safety and warning labels.
●Never operate the tool under the influence of alcohol and drugs! The
operator (the individual using the device or equipment) not only put
themselves in danger, but also put those around them in danger.
● Ensure that an individual is fully trained to operate the tool before you give
tham permission to use the equipment.

● Abide by all traffic rules and related laws when travelling on public roads
open to traffic.
● Become familiar with all the moving elements on the tool and all safety
policies prior to operating the tool, ensure that you are informed with regards
to their function and positions; otherwise it might be too late in the event of an
accident.
●Operators must make sure that their clothing is tight and fitted when
operating the tool. Do not wear big and baggy clothes.
●Keep the machine clean against fire. Clean the machine as recommended
after every operation.
●Prior to operating the tool make sure that there is plenty of space around the
tool, and there are no adults, children, or living organisms within the operation
range of the tool, as well as making sure you have a clear view.
● It is prohibited and dangerous to carry animals or humans on the tool.
●Execute all connections of the tool in accordance with instructions, and
ensure that all safety policies are fixed in stipulated positions.
● Make sure that the tool is on a level surface before disconnecting from the
tractor. Use a braking system or log to eliminate the risk of skidding.
●Connecting or disconnecting the tool and tractor requires great care and
should be conducted by competent individuals.
● Always position loads in accordance with instructions to the stipulated
points.
● Adhere to pay load, axle load, and carrier road regulations.
●Always check the carrier, traffic lighting, and warning appliacations of the
machine prior to operation, and connect them accordingly.
●Always make sure that any hanging chains, wires, rods, etc are safely
protected during operation or carrying.

●Take all safety precautions in accordance with instructions of the
manufacturing company with regads to the machine prior to travelling.
●Never leave the driver’s seat while travelling.
● Adjust the pace of the equipment based on the working conditions and work
area. Refrain from sharp turns while travelling downhill, uphill, or on unlevel
ground.
●The performance and turn capability of the equipment differs when
connected to the tractor. Ensure that there is adequate turn and braking
capability.
● Take into consideration the centre of gravity and/or the dead load of the
tool when turning.
●Only connect the tool to the tractor when all safety applications are
attached and all safety precautions are taken.
●Stay away from the oscillation and turning zone of the tool.
● Before leaving the tractor, leave the tool on soil, turn off the engine, pull the
ignition key.
●Ensure that nobody stands in between the machine and tractor unless a
braking system or log to eliminate the risk of skidding.
●Crushes and breaks occur on the organs that operate with spring force or the
cutter. Be careful of these points.
●Ensure that any foreign matter that could possibly damage the machine is
kept away from the operation range.
●Do not climb on top of the tool when it is connected to the tractor.
●Only the tractor driver can start and stop the machine.
●In the event that the tractor used for your tool does not have a closed cabin
for the driver, the the driver must use earphones to block out the noise and
googles to block out the dust during operation; in the event that dust and
smoke is part of the operation then the driver shall also wear a mask.

●In the case of front axle of the tractor, remove the back of the instrument
must remain a burden long enough. Front axle overload discharge occurring,
and additional weight attached to the tractor, so steering safety is achieved.

Minos Horizontal spring cultivator enters the soil tillage equipment group and
and useful life has been determined as 10 years.
To use the equipment more efficient;
● First ensure that the minimum power required by the machine is in
conformity with the tractor.
● Check the tightness of the nuts and bolts. Conduct this check periodically
● Replace all worn or broken parts using original spare parts.
● Conduct all periodic maintenance of the machine without delay on a regular
basis as recommended.
● Cultivator, avoid using wet and moist soil.
●Always clean the machine after each operation in order to avoid unnecessary
energy consumption and overloading due to any form of congestion in the
elements.
●Always take into consideration the soil condition when adjusting the speed of
the equipment.

a. Repair-Related Rules To Follow
4- PERIODIC MAINTENANCE AND REPAIR
●Always leave the equipment on a soil surface, turn off the engine, pull the
ignition key before conducting any periodic maintenance, repair, or
cleaning on the equipment!
●After cleaning the service area for maintenance and repair, ensure that
the ground is dry. Do not delay the controls of electrical plugs and electrical
devices.
●Only use the recommended pinch bar and suitable equipment (such as
ropes, chains, etc.) when elevating machinery where necessary for
maintenance and repair works.
●The equipment should be stored indoors (dry environment) on hard and
level ground. Logs should be used to prevent the machine from falling over
and toppling over.
● Always use suitable devices when determining the leakage points during
the periodic maintenance and repair of the equipment in order to prevent
accidents and injuries! Hydraulic oil that leaks under high pressure may
come into contact with skin and cause serious injuries! Consult a doctor
immediately if injured! There is risk of infection!
●Disconnect the tractor and connected machinery from the battery and
generator when conducting welding works on the tractor and machinery
connected to the tractor!
●Always contact the authorised service or technical service of the
manufacturing company for any questions in relation to the repair and
maintenance of the machine!

●Always keep a First Aid Kit and Fire Extinguisher in the service area where
repair and maintenance are conducted!
●The spare parts used to repair the equipment in question should only be
the original spare parts recommended by the manufacturing company; a
safe repair can only be achieved using suitable instruments! The
manufacturing company shall not be held responsible for any accidents or
injuries that arise from using other spare parts and instruments!
●The equipment should be stored indoors (dry environment) on hard and
level ground. Logs should be used to prevent the machine from falling over
and toppling over!
●Take great care to not leave any instruments and tools on the equipment
after works are completed!
●Check the safety mechanisms of the equipment on a regular basis and
replace components that no longer function!
●Only use original spare parts, this shall extend the life of the equipment!

c. Periodic Maintenance Information And Rules
The following treatments will be made by the consumer:
● In the event that you require spare parts, you must state the type, serial
number, and production date of the equipment when placing an order. This
is necessary in order to resolve issues quicker and provide better services.
All the required information can be found on the metal label on the
machine and are the defining information of your equipment, which should
be at arm’s length at all times.
●Spare parts orders shall be logged with authorised services or dealers or
directly with our firm in the event that both are not available.
● Turn off the tractor engine, pull out the ignition key before conducting
maintenance on the equipment.

●Check all the nuts and bolts after the first three hours and periodically
thereafter (approximately every 50 hours); screw those that are loose.
●Cultivator work must be protected on a place chock off the post.
●After each use, check and clean the elements that may have soil remains, legs
and its points etc. to increase the physical life of the equipment.
●While the equipment in the soil are not coming back.
●During use, care should be taken to the tool parallel to the ground.
d. Cleaning and Storage Conditions After Operation
●Take down the equipment and make sure that it is placed steadily at the end
of work. Support and secure it with wedges against the risks of rolling and
rollover.
●It is recommended washing your equipment with plenty of water (not high-
pressure). Otherwise it causes humidity and corrosion.
●Checking the tightness of nuts and bolts and tightening them where
necessary is an extremely important periodic maintenance procedure.
There are numerous risks that can arise if neglected; the risk of losing parts
of the equipment as they can fall off, a part can fly off during operation and
give rise to an accident, and serious financial damage can be caused to the
equipment!

●It is not recommended using high-pressure water while cleaning the
machine; but if equipment will be cleaned with high-pressure water; 0,7 m
should be kept between the head of sprinkler and you!
●Check the elements, springs, leg, point etc. which may contain plant residues
and clean the same, if necessary. Enzymes which may be released during
corrosion may damage the surface of equipment.
● Determine the worn parts on the equipment and replace them with original
spare parts if necessary.
● If paint is damaged, touch it up. Cover the shiny surfaces with corrosion
protector.
●Equipment should be stored on a rigid and flat ground in a dry, closed place.
●List the necessary spare parts and order them from the authorized service,
dealer of Minos or directly manufacturing firm, so your needs may be met on
time and your machine becomes ready for the following season.
e. Preparatıon For New Season
●Clean the greases and oils used for its position as required by storage
conditions for some surfaces and elements.
● Check all screws and bolts and tighten them as required.
● Make all adjustments of equipment as described in detail.
● Ensure that all connections are established in accordance with the relevant
instructions and make sure that all security mechanisms are fixed to the
prescribed points!
