Disconnect Mode (Solar)
Disconnects solar when baeries are full. Wind should have
a diversion load. You can run mulple wind and solar in both
diversion and disconnect modes simultaneously.
Divert Mode (Wind and/or Solar)
Diverts (“dumps”) wind and/or solar when baeries are full. You
can divert mulple wind and solar simultaneously. You can divert
to your dump load resistors and/or DC water heang elements
and more, simultaneously.
These cables
come pre-wired.

200 Amp Charge Controller with Digital LED Volt Meter for Wind & Solar
12 or 24 volt. See more about this product on YouTube at: hps://youtu.be/fC_vK_eKxPA

– Orient controller as drawn. Leave about 6-8 inches
(20 cm) of clear space around it to keep cool.
– Solar + input on le side relay must enter as
shown, if reversed no current will ow and your
baeries won’t charge from solar.
– Baery + input on right side relay MUST enter top
right side of relay as shown, if reversed no current
will ow and your baeries over charge.
See arrows!!!
Diversion Loads:
– You must use a diversion load when
using wind or hydro. Very large wind
turbines and hydro can sustain high amp
outputs. Make sure your dump load is
rated above the amp draw of them.
– You must install a cooling fan under
the relay heat-sink if drawing more than
70 amps.

Cooling Fan Locaon:
– Mount fan with two bolts that extend the length of the
heat-sink ns. Use washer to hold fan against heat-sink.
– Locate cooling fan under each relay pulling over
70 amps or relay failure will occur!!
Solar Panels:
– This controller DOES NOT
reduce solar voltage so you
will need to wire your panels in
parallel!!!

• Read these instrucon sheets along with any
other component’s instrucons that will connect
to this system!
• Do not operate the controller without baeries!
Voltage can uctuate rapidly with fewer baeries
(on/o). In this case you have too much charging for
too few baeries. Increase the amount of baeries.
If your solar panel voltage is too high rapid on/o
dumping may occur. Example: 24v panels to 12v
baeries. Solar and wind work great together.
Wind turbines can charge 24 hours per day. Solar is
8 hours per day max.
• Make sure the controller wires are connected to
baeries before connecng or disconnecng
wind and solar.
• Use the proper sized power cables. Undersized
cables will get very warm or hot. This heat can
cause wires to melt and transfer excessive heat to
the relay.
• Connect the thin sense wires to baeries only. To
extend them, use the same size or larger wire.
DO NOT hookup backwards!
• Do not make adjustments to the controller without
reading addional informaon rst. Adjustments are
recommended only for experienced users or if your
system requires it.
• Make sure you make solid ght connecons at and
before the relay screw terminals. If your cable lugs
are too wide to t under the relay screw plate you
can ip the screw plate over so the at side is facing
down. Loose or sloppy connecons will get hot and
transfer excess heat to the relay causing
overheang.
• It is normal for the relay and its aluminum heat-sink
to be warm or hot when high amps are passing
through. To operate at over 70 amps connuous
you will need a 3 to 4 inch computer type fan
mounted directly underneath the relay blowing up
over the cooling ns on the heat-sink. You can either
let the fan run connuously or aach a mer to
have it o at night when no charging occurs. If you
need them we oer fans and mers on our website.
• The display on the controller is set up to turn o
aer a period of inacvity to conserve energy. To
turn it back on just short press the boom right
buon on the underside of the controller.
• Each relay is equipped with a small red light. For
le side relay (solar): Red light ON=solar charging,
OFF=solar not charging. For right side relay
(divert load/s): Red light ON=divert load on,
OFF=divert load o.
• You can connect more of our relays to the controller
to expand charging capability. See our website for
more specialty relays, fans, mers, and more.
• Only mount control board vercally (standing up) as
it will not operate horizontally (laying down).
⚠WARNING: Charge controller/board may have
sharp edges. Also be sure to discard carboard and
packing materials around the dump load.
