Profile
Overview
Thank you for purchasing this digital camera. It not only can take photos but
also has the built-in PC camera functions. This camera is equipped with a
64MB built-in ROM; if you want the digital photos in the camera to be
downloaded into the computer, you are only required to connect the USB
cable; and if you want to use the built-in PC camera functions, you can hold
the video conference via the Internet to have a face-to-face online chat with
others.

Getting Started
This camera is equipped with standard accessories such as batteries, and
this section will tell you how to use them on the camera.
Replace Batteries
The battery box is located at the lower part of the back of camera, and
you must use two AAA batteries. If you want to replace the batteries:
1 .Open the battery box
2.Load the batteries correctly; when you load the batteries, please place the
batteries according to the pole directions for batteries on the battery
boxClose the battery box cover.
Precautions
When you use the USB cable to connect the camera with a computer, it is
unnecessary to use the batteries because the camera can use the power
provided by the computer through the USB interface.
Warning
1. Do not open the battery box cover at will, and the power cut will cause
the photos in the camera missing.
2. When the battery power is low, the characters on the LCD will flash.
Please download the photos in the camera into the computer as soon as
possible for fear of the loss of photos in the camera.
3. If you do not use this camera for quite a long period, please take out
of the batteries for fear of the discharging or corrosion of the batteries.
4. Please do not put the batteries into fire for fear of explosion to cause
people injured or damage the environment.
5. Please do not use the manganous batteries and do not mix-use new
batteries and used batteries. Suggest using AAA size alkaline batteries.
Automatically enter the energy saving status.
In order to save the energies of batteries, if the camera is not used in 20
seconds, the camera will automatically enter the energy saving status.
Software Installation
Please place the CD into the CD-ROM and the software will automatically
run the installation wizard; please follow the directions of the installation
wizard.
If the auto run function in your computer is closed, you must manually
install the software according to the following steps.
1. Enter E (E is your CD-Rom) .
2. Please follow the directions of the installation wizard.

Taking Photos
Please be sure that the power of the batteries is enough before you use this
camera to take digital photos. If you want to take photos, please:
1.Press Function button to open the camera and the LCD at the back of the
camera will be lightened.
2.Use the viewfinder to find the things for which you desire to take photos.
3 .Hold the camera steadily, and press the shutter button to take photos.
4. When you hear the buzzer beeps once, which indicates that you have already
taken a photo, and then you can go on taking photos.
5.When the digital camera is fully loaded with photos, if you press
shutter button again, the buzzer will give out the continuous beep
sounds for alarm.
Note
1 .When taking photos, the louder sound indicates the success of shooting
and the lowering sound will indicate the failure of shooting, and
[For example Underlight].
2.Press down the function key and after about 5S the camera is ready for work.
Camera Functions Operation
The function operation of this digital camera shall be conducted under the
working state of the digital camera. If the digital camera is in the energy saving
mode, please press Function button once to start the camera and let it into the
working state, and then conduct he following camera function operation.
1. Press the Select button to select" "shown on the LCD display.
2. Press the Shutter button within 5 seconds to close.
Auto-Shoot
1.Press the Select button to select" "shown on the LCD display.
2.Press the Shutte button within 5 seconds to enter thelO-second time
set auto-shoot state, and the digital camera will send out a sound every second.
Continuous Shoot Mode
1.Press the Select button to select " "shown on the LCD display
2.And press Shutter button continuously in 5 seconds to start the continuous
shoot.
3.Release Shutter button to stop the continuous shoot.
Note:
1. During the continuous shooting period, the incorrect exposure will
possibly appear due to the shortage of rays.
2. During the continuous shooting period, the camera will automatically
shift to QVGA mode for shoot.

Deleting All Photos
1.Press the Select button to select" "shown on the LCD display
And press the Shutter button within 5 seconds to delete all photos.
Note: If you do not press Shutter button within 5 seconds, the operation of
deleting the photos in camera will not be executed and the digital camera will
return to the normal working state.
Delete Single Photo
1 .Press the Select button to select" "shown on the LCD display
2.And press the Shutter button within 5 seconds to delete the last photo.
Image Quality Shift Mode
1. Press the Select button to select" HI'V'LO" shown on the LCD display.
2. Press the Shutter button within 5 seconds to change "HI'V'LO".
5O/6OHZ Light System Shift
1.Press the Select button to select “50/60” shown on the LCD display.
2.And press the Shutter button within 5 seconds and the shift of 50/60 HZ light
system can be achieved.
Image Compression/Normal Shift
1 .Press the Select button to select" Hd " /" Ld" shown on the LCD display.
2.Press the Shutter button withinS seconds and the shift of image compression/
normal can be achieved.
Download Photos
When your photo memory device is fully engaged, you can delete the photos to
take more photos. Before you delete the photos, you can transmit them into the
computer for storage first.
1. Use USB cable to connect the computer with digital camera, and the buzzer
will give a beep sound indicating the connection is correct.
2.Select the program library>ArcsoftPhotoImpression3.0 >Arcsoft photo
Impression to display the main screen.
3.Click the button [Get photo] on the main screen and select [camera/scanner],
and then select the corresponding options from the monitor equipment list
according to the models you purchased.

Select (Dual-Mode DSC(2770) in the option [select source] and then click
confirm] ||S , and then a dialog box about downloading the photos will appear.
You can select to download a single photo or all the photos according to the
requirements.
PC Camera Functions
Click (Dual-Mode DSC(2770), and there will pop-up a dialog box below the
page; click [video camera]!! , and the dialog box [capture the -images from video
camera] will automatically pop-up. Please Select( Dual-Mode DSC(2770) driver
for this camera.
Functions Introduction
1.Sources
You can set the device origin, device set and camera control; and please select
( Default) for device origin.
2.Format
You can adjust the resolution and the color mode of images; the color mode is
suggested to select [RGB-24].
3.Live
You can browse real-time videos or images.
4.Capture
When you play live videos, click and select this function to acquire the single
picture and store it in the album.
5.Done
Finish the PC camera functions.
Video Conference
This digital camera can be used as a PC camera to conduct image transmission
or hold online video conference, you are only required to:
1 .Use the USB cable to connect the camera and the USB Interface ofPC;
2.Run the video conference software Microsoft Netmeeting onyour computer.
Click [TOOL] and press [OPTION].
3.Select the corresponding video devices (see the below diagrams) to hold the
video conference.
