SECATEUR MAINTENANCE
Always remove the battery pack before performing
maintenance tasks.
LUBRICATION
Rell the lubricating oil reservoir every
4 hours.
BLADE ADJUSTMENT
Check the tightness of the blade before
use. A correctly adjusted blade will not
swing left or right and will operate as
eciently as possible.
When closed, the blade should not
have a lateral swing.
Whilst it is important to be tight, over-
tightening can cause undue friction
between the parts reducing the
performance of the battery. Under-
tightening can lead to gear teeth being
misaligned, potentially damaging the unit.
REPLACING THE BLADE
If the blade is damaged or too worn as
to not hold a sharp edge it should be
replaced. The replacement steps are
as follows:
1. For safety, power o before
replacement and remove the battery.
2. Follow the steps outlines on page 15
to replace the blade.
3. After replacement, clean the blades,
connect the battery, check the power
and close the blade.
