benutzt werden, wenn sie beaufsichtigt oder bezüglich des
sicheren Gebrauchs des Gerätes unterwiesen wurden und die

Überhitzungsgefahr!
Achten Sie stets darauf, dass beim Betrieb entstehende Wärme
ausreichend abgeführt werden kann. Sorgen Sie dafür, dass
das Gerät in ausreichendem Abstand zu Wänden oder Gegen-
ständen steht, sodass die Luft zirkulieren kann (Abb. 2,
Seite 2).
Nutzen Sie das Gerät im Fahrzeug nie bei laufendem Motor.
Das Innenraumheizgerät muss während der Fahrt so aufbe-
wahrt werden, dass es im Falle eines Aufpralls oder einer Voll-
bremsung keine Gefahr für die Sicherheit darstellt.
Achten Sie darauf, dass die Lüftungsöffnungen nicht abgedeckt
werden.
Tauchen Sie das Gerät nie in Wasser.
Schützen Sie das Gerät und die Kabel vor Hitze und Nässe.

4 Bestimmungsgemäßer Gebrauch
Das mobitronic Innenraumheizgerät dient zum Heizen Ihres Fahrzeuginnen-
raums. Das Gerät kann auch in anderen Räumen eingesetzt werden, in
denen eine 230-V-Wechselstromquelle zur Verfügung steht.

Verwenden Sie das Innenraumheizgerät nicht zum direkten
Wärmen von Personen, Tieren oder Gegenständen. Das Gerät
eignet sich ausschließlich zur Erwärmung der Umgebungsluft.

5 Technische Beschreibung
Die mobitronic Innenraumheizung mit 1100 W ist mit einem 3-Stufen-Schal-
ter (Abb. 3, 1, Seite 3) ausgestattet.
Das Innenraumheizgerät wird mit einem PTC Heizelement betrieben, bei
dem die Leistung entsprechend der Temperatur der einströmenden Luft
geregelt wird. Sobald sich das Innere des Fahrzeugs erwärmt, wird die Leis-
tung und damit auch der Stromverbrauch entsprechend reduziert (PTC =
positive temperature coefficient).
Das Innenraumheizgerät ist mit einer automatischen Überhitzungssicherung
ausgestattet. Falls diese Sicherung abschaltet, muss die Heizung zur Repa-
ratur an das Werk eingeschickt werden (siehe Kapitel „Störungsbeseitigung“
auf Seite 9).
6 Innenraumheizgerät benutzen
➤Klappen Sie den Aufstellbügel an der Unterseite des Gerätes auf.
➤Platzieren Sie die mobitronic Innenraumheizung an einer passenden
Stelle im Fahrzeuginnenraum (z. B. Beifahrerfußraum, siehe Abb. 2,
Seite 2).

➤Schließen Sie das Gerät mit dem Anschlusskabel an eine 230-Vw-Steck-
dose an.
ACHTUNG! Brandgefahr!
Das Innenraumheizgerät darf nicht auf dem Armaturenbrett oder
den Sitzen platziert werden. Das Gerät muss so ausgerichtet
werden, dass die Anforderung nach freiem Raum erfüllt ist (siehe
Abb. 2, Seite 2).
HINWEIS
Um möglichst schnell ein warmes Fahrzeug zu bekommen, muss
das Innenraumheizgerät möglichst weit unten im Fahrzeug plat-
ziert werden. Der Warmluftstrahl, der aus dem Gebläse kommt,
sollte so eingestellt sein, dass er nicht unmittelbar auf den Sitz
oder andere Hindernisse gerichtet ist. Falls dies geschieht, wird
die ausströmende warme Luft reflektiert und direkt wieder in das
Gerät eingesaugt, bevor sie den Fahrgastraum des Autos beheizt
hat. Dies führt zu einem verminderten oder gar komplett aufgeho-
benem Effekt des Gerätes.

➤Wählen Sie mit dem Schalter (siehe Abb. 3,1, Seite 3) die gewünschte
Heizstufe:
7 Gewährleistung
Es gilt die gesetzliche Gewährleistungsfrist. Sollte das Produkt defekt sein,
wenden Sie sich bitte an die Niederlassung des Herstellers in Ihrem Land
(Adressen siehe Rückseite der Anleitung) oder an Ihren Fachhändler.
Zur Reparatur- bzw. Gewährleistungsbearbeitung müssen Sie folgende
Unterlagen mitschicken:
eine Kopie der Rechnung mit Kaufdatum,
einen Reklamationsgrund oder eine Fehlerbeschreibung.

they are supervised or have been taught how to use the device

Cleaning and user maintenance must not be carried out by

2.2 Operating the device safely
DDANGER!
Do not touch exposed cables with your bare hands. This
especially applies when operating the device with an AC mains
power supply.
!CAUTION!
Before starting the device, ensure that the power supply line
and the plug are dry.
ANOTICE!
Do not place the device near naked flames or other heat
sources (heaters, direct sunlight, gas ovens etc.).
Danger of overheating!
Ensure at all times that there is sufficient ventilation so that the
heat that arises during operation does not build up. Make sure
that the device is sufficiently far away from walls and other
objects so that the air can circulate (fig. 2, page 2).
Never operate the device in vehicles when the engine is run-
ning. The interior heater must be stored in such a way while driv-
ing so that it does not pose a safety risk in the event of a collision
or the driver slamming on the brakes.

4 Intended use
The mobitronic interior heater is for heating the vehicle interior. The device
can also be used in other rooms, provided a 230 V AC power supply is avail-
able.

5 Technical description
The mobitronic 1100 W interior heater is equipped with a three-stage switch
(see fig. 31, page 3).
The interior heater is operated with a PTC heating element that regulates the
output according to the temperature of the incoming air. As soon as the vehi-
cle interior is warm, the output and therefore also the current consumption is
reduced accordingly (PTC = positive temperature coefficient).
The interior heater is equipped with an automatic overheating fuse. If this
fuse shuts down, the heater must be sent to the factory to be repaired (see
chapter “Troubleshooting” on page 16).

animals or objects directly. The device is only suitable for heating
the surrounding air.

➤Open the bracket on the bottom of the device.
➤Place the mobitronic interior heater at a suitable location in the vehicle
interior (e.g. the front passenger footwell, see fig. 2, page 2).

➤Connect the device to a 230 Vwsocket using the connection cable.
➤Use the switch (see fig. 31, page 3) to select the desired heating level:
NOTICE! Fire hazard!
The interior heater may not be placed on the dashboard or seats.
The device must be aligned in such a way that there is sufficient
free space (see fig. 2, page 2).
NOTE
To heat up the vehicle interior as quickly as possible, the interior
heater must be positioned as low as possible in the vehicle. The
warm air that comes from the blower should be set in such a way
that it is not directed at the seat or any obstacles. If this happens,
the outgoing warm air is reflected and sucked back into the device
before the car's passenger area can be heated. That results in a
reduced or even completely absent heating effect.

The statutory warranty period applies. If the product is defective, please
contact the manufacturer's branch in your country (see the back of the
instruction manual for the addresses) or your retailer.
For repair and guarantee processing, please include the following docu-
ments when you send in the device:
A copy of the receipt with purchasing date
A reason for the claim or description of the fault
