Chassis Speaker Set for Car HiFi
Systems
Please read these operating instructions carefully prior to opera-
tion and keep them for later use.
1 Applications
This high-quality speaker set is especially designed for the use in
car HiFi systems and consists of:
2 x bass-midrange speaker Ø 130mm or 165mm with illuminat-
ed CARPOWER logo
2 x tweeter, can be tilted inside its cabinet
2 x 2-way crossover network
mounting material and connection cables
It is possible to insert one tweeter respectively at the place of the
CARPOWER logo to obtain a coaxial system this way. The fol-
lowing power capabilities of the components per channel must
not be exceeded:

TWINSET-165: 150WMAX, 75WRMS
2 Safety Notes
The crossover networks and the speakers correspond to all
required directives of the EU and are therefore marked with the
sign.
●The components are suitable for indoor use only. Protect them
against dripping water and splash water, high air humidity, and
heat (admissible ambient temperature range 0–40°C).
●For cleaning only use a dry, soft cloth, by no means chemicals
or water.
●The components must be mounted in a firm and competent
way at a mechanically stable place in the car so that they do
not become loose and turn into dangerous projectiles.
●No guarantee claims for the components and no liability for
any resulting personal damage or material damage will be
accepted if the components are used for other purposes than
originally intended, if they are not correctly connected, over-
loaded, or not repaired in an expert way.
3 Setting into Operation
3.1 Replacing the CARPOWER logo by a tweeter
For operating the speaker set as a coaxial system, the illuminat-
ed CARPOWER logo can be replaced by one tweeter respec-
tively:
1) Turn the complete logo housing slightly to the left and remove it.
2) Turn the upper part of the tweeter cabinet slightly to the left,
remove it, and take out the tweeter.
3) Remove the cover at the lower side of the tweeter by turning
it to the left. Do not release the recessed head screw in the
centre.
4) Place the tweeter on the bayonet locking of the bass-mid-
range speaker so that the red-marked contacts lie above each
other. Then turn the tweeter to the right to the stop so that it
has a tight fit.
3.2 Connection
The connection of the set for one channel is shown below. Fig. 1
shows the connection with separately mounted tweeter, fig. 2
shows the connection for the coaxial system. The connection for
the second channel is identical.Always connect the black core of
the connection cables to the corresponding negative pole to pre-
vent reverse polarity.
1) Connect the output of the power amplifier to the input IN of the
crossover network.
2) Connect the terminals LF of the bass-midrange speaker to the
terminals WOOFER of the crossover network.
3) If the tweeter is separately mounted as shown in fig. 1, con-
nect it to the terminals TWEETER of the crossover network.
The terminals HF of the bass-midrange speaker serve for
power supply of the LED logo. Connect them either to the ter-
minals LF (version A in fig. 1; the logo flickers depending on
the music volume) or to a DC voltage of 12V (version B; the
logo lights up with constant brightness).
However, if the LED logo has been replaced by the tweet-
er, connect the terminals HF to the terminals TWEETER of the
crossover network (fig. 2).
CAUTION: Never replace the correctly connected LED logo by a
tweeter without changing the connections accordingly. Otherwise
the tweeter will be destroyed.
3.3 Making the adjustments
1) The sliding switch on the crossover network serves for
matching the high frequencies. In the switch position - 3dB
the high frequencies are attenuated accordingly.
2) A reverse polarity may occur by exchanging the positive
connections and the negative connections TWEETER at the
crossover network. This may result in a better sound for some
systems.
For most systems the reproduction is optimum when both stereo
channels are adjusted in the same way.
4 Specifications
Subject to technical modifications.
If the components are to be put out of operation
definitively, take them to a local recycling plant for a
disposal which is not harmful to the environment.

1 Einsatzmöglichkeiten
Dieses hochwertige Lautsprecherset ist speziell für den Einsatz
in Car-HiFi-Anlagen konzipiert und besteht aus:

CARPOWER-Logo
2 x Hochtöner, lässt sich innerhalb seines Gehäuses kippen
2 x 2-Wege-Frequenzweiche
Montagematerial und Verbindungskabel
An Stelle des CARPOWER-Logos lässt sich jeweils ein Hochtö-
ner einsetzen, um so ein Koaxialsystem zu erhalten. Die folgen-
de Belastbarkeit der Komponenten darf pro Kanal nicht über-
schritten werden:

2 Hinweise für den sicheren Gebrauch
Die Frequenzweichen und die Lautsprecher entsprechen allen
erforderlichen Richtlinien der EU und sind deshalb mit
gekennzeichnet.
●Verwenden Sie die Komponenten nur im Innenbereich. Schüt-
zen Sie sie vor Tropf- und Spritzwasser, hoher Luftfeuchtigkeit
und Hitze (zulässiger Einsatztemperaturbereich 0–40°C).
●Verwenden Sie für die Reinigung nur ein trockenes, weiches
Tuch, niemals Chemikalien oder Wasser.
●Die Komponenten müssen fest und fachgerecht an einer
mechanisch stabilen Stelle im Fahrzeug montiert werden, damit
sie sich nicht lösen und zu gefährlichen Geschossen werden.
●Werden die Komponenten zweckentfremdet, falsch ange-
schlossen, überlastet oder nicht fachgerecht repariert, kann
für sie keine Garantie und keine Haftung für daraus resultie-
rende Sach- oder Personenschäden übernommen werden.
3 Inbetriebnahme
3.1 CARPOWER-Logo gegen Hochtöner austauschen
Soll das Lautsprecherset als Koaxialsystem betrieben werden,
lässt sich das beleuchtete CARPOWER-Logo jeweils gegen
einen Hochtöner austauschen:
1) Das komplette Logo-Gehäuse etwas nach links drehen und
abnehmen.
2) Das Oberteil des Hochtönergehäuses etwas nach links dre-
hen, abnehmen und den Hochtöner herausnehmen.
3) An der Unterseite des Hochtöners den Deckel durch Links-
drehen abnehmen. Die Kreuzschlitzschraube in der Mitte
nicht lösen.
4) Den Hochtöner so auf den Bajonettverschluss des Tiefmittel-
töners setzen, dass die rot markierten Kontakte übereinander
liegen. Dann den Hochtöner bis zum Anschlag nach rechts
drehen, sodass er fest sitzt.
3.2 Anschluss
Der Anschluss des Sets für einen Kanal ist unten dargestellt.
Abb. 1 zeigt den Anschluss mit separat montiertem Hochtöner,
Abb. 2 den Anschluss beim Koaxialsystem. Der Anschluss für
den zweiten Kanal ist identisch. Die schwarze Ader der Verbin-
dungskabel immer am entsprechenden Minuspol anklemmen,
sodass keine Verpolung entsteht.
1) Den Endstufenausgang mit dem Eingang IN der Frequenz-
weiche verbinden.
2) Die Anschlüsse LF des Tiefmitteltöners mit den Klemmen
WOOFER der Frequenzweiche verbinden.
3) Ist der Hochtöner wie in Abb. 1 separat montiert, ihn an die
Klemmen TWEETER der Weiche anschließen. DieAnschlüs-
se HF des Tiefmitteltöners dienen zur Stromversorgung des
LED-Logos. Diese entweder mit den Anschlüssen LF verbin-
den (Variante A in Abb. 1; das Logo flackert in Abhängigkeit
von der Musiklautstärke) oder mit einer Gleichspannung von
12V (Variante B; das Logo leuchtet mit konstanter Helligkeit).
Wurde das LED-Logo jedoch gegen den Hochtöner aus-
getauscht, die Anschlüsse HF mit den Klemmen TWEETER
der Frequenzweiche verbinden (Abb. 2).
VORSICHT: Niemals das korrekt angeschlossene LED-Logo
gegen einen Hochtöner austauschen, ohne die Anschlüsse ent-
sprechend zu ändern. Der Hochtöner wird sonst zerstört.
3.3 Einstellungen vornehmen
1) Zur Höhenanpassung dient der Schiebeschalter auf der Fre-
quenzweiche. In der Schalterstellung - 3dB werden die
Höhen entsprechend abgesenkt.
2) Eine Verpolung der Hochtöner kann durch Vertauschen der
Plus- und Minusanschlüsse TWEETER an der Frequenz-
weiche erfolgen. Dieses kann für mancheAnlagen einen bes-
seren Klang ergeben.
Bei den meisten Anlagen ergibt sich eine optimale Wiedergabe,
wenn beide Stereokanäle gleich eingestellt werden.
4 Technische Daten
Änderungen vorbehalten.
Sollen die Komponenten endgültig aus dem Betrieb
genommen werden, übergeben Sie sie zur umwelt-
gerechten Entsorgung einem örtlichen Recycling-
betrieb.

Veuillez lire la présente notice avec attention avant le fonctionne-

1 Possibilités d’utilisation
Cet ensemble de haut-parleurs de grande qualité est spéciale-
ment conçu pour une utilisation dans des installations de Hi-Fi
embarquée et se compose de :
2 x haut-parleur de grave-médium Ø 130mm ou 165mm avec
logo CARPOWER éclairé
2 x haut-parleur d’aigu : peut être penché dans son boîtier
2 x filtre de fréquences 2 voies
matériel de montage et câbles de liaison
Ala place du logo CARPOWER, on peut installer respectivement
un haut-parleur d’aigu pour composer un système coaxial. La
capacité de charge suivante des composants par canal ne doit
pas être dépassée :

2 Conseils d’utilisation et de sécurité
Les filtres et haut-parleurs répondent à toutes les directives néces-
saires de l’Union Européenne et portent donc le symbole .
●Les composants ne sont conçus que pour une utilisation en
intérieur. Protégez-les de tout type de projections d’eau, des
éclaboussures, d’une humidité élevée et de la chaleur (plage
de température de fonctionnement autorisée 0–40°C).
●Pour le nettoyage, utilisez uniquement un chiffon sec et doux,
en aucun cas de produits chimiques ou d’eau.
●Les composants doivent être fixés solidement de manière
compétente à un endroit mécaniquement stable dans le véhi-
cule pour éviter qu’ils ne se desserrent et ne se transforment
en projectiles dangereux.
●Nous déclinons toute responsabilité en cas de dommages
matériels ou corporels si les composants sont utilisés dans un
but autre que celui pour lequel ils ont été conçus, s’ils ne sont
pas correctement branchés, s’il y a surcharge ou s’ils ne sont
pas réparés par une personne habilitée ; en outre, la garantie
deviendrait caduque.
3 Fonctionnement
3.1 Remplacement du logo CARPOWER par un haut-
parleur d’aigu
Si l’ensemble haut-parleur doit fonctionner comme système
coaxial, on peut remplacer le logo CARPOWER éclairé respec-
tivement par un haut-parleur d’aigu.
1) Tournez un peu vers la gauche le boîtier complet du logo et
retirez-le.
2) Tournez un peu vers la gauche la partie supérieure du boîtier du
haut-parleur d’aigu, retirez-la et enlevez le haut-parleur d’aigu.
3) En le tournant vers la gauche, retirez le couvercle sur la face
inférieure du haut-parleur d’aigu. Ne desserrez pas la vis
hexagonale au centre.
4) Placez le haut-parleur d’aigu sur le verrouillage à baïonnette
du haut-parleur de grave-médium de telle sorte que les
contacts repérés en rouge soient les uns au-dessus des au-
tres. Ensuite, tournez le haut-parleur d’aigu vers la droite jus-
qu’à la butée pour qu’il prenne une position fixe.
3.2 Branchement
Le branchement de l’ensemble pour un canal est présenté ci-
dessous. Le schéma 1 indique le branchement avec un haut-par-
leur d’aigu monté séparément. Le schéma 2 présente le bran-
chement pour un système coaxial. Le branchement pour le
deuxième canal est identique. Reliez toujours le conducteur noir
du câble de liaison au pôle moins correspondant pour éviter toute
inversion de polarité.
1) Reliez la sortie de l’étage final à l’entrée IN du filtre de fré-
quences.
2) Reliez les bornes LF du haut-parleur de grave-médium aux
bornes WOOFER du filtre.
3) Si comme présenté sur le schéma 1, le haut-parleur d’aigu est
monté séparément, reliez-le aux bornes TWEETER du filtre.
Les bornes HF du haut-parleur de grave-médium servent pour
l’alimentation du logo à LED. Reliez-les soit aux connexions
LF (variante A sur le schéma 1 ; le logo vacille en fonction du
volume de la musique) soit à une tension continue de 12V
(variante B ; le logo brille avec une luminosité constante).
Si le logo à LED a été remplacé par le haut-parleur d’aigu,
reliez les connexions HF aux bornes TWEETER du filtre
(schéma 2).
PRECAUTION ! Ne remplacez jamais le logo correctement bran-
ché par un haut-parleur d’aigu sans modifier les branchements en
conséquence. Le haut-parleur d’aigu pourrait être endommagé.
3.3 Réglages
1) L’interrupteur sur le filtre sert pour l’adaptation des aigus. En
position - 3dB, les aigus sont diminués en conséquence.
2) En intervertissant les branchements plus et moins TWEETER
sur le filtre, on peut générer une inversion de polarité des
haut-parleurs d’aigu. Pour certaines installations, cela peut
conduire à un son meilleur.
Dans la majorité des installations, la restitution est optimale si les
deux canaux stéréo sont réglés de la même façon.
4 Caractéristiques techniques
Tout droit de modification réservé.
Lorsque les composants sont définitivement retirés
du circuit de distribution, vous devez les déposer
dans une usine de recyclage adaptée pour contri-
buer à leur élimination non polluante.

1 Possibilità d’impiego
Questo set di altoparlanti di alta qualità è previsto specialmente
per l’impiego in impianti di car-hifi ed è composto da:
2 x woofer/midrange Ø 130 mm e 165 mm con logo illuminato
CARPOWER
2 x tweeter, ribaltabili all’interno delle loro casse
2 x filtro di frequenze a 2 vie
Materiale di montaggio e cavi di collegamento
Al posto del logo CARPOWER si può inserire un tweeter per otte-
nere, in questo modo, un sistema coassiale. Non si deve supe-
rare la seguente potenza dei componenti per ogni canale:

TWINSET-165: 150 Wmax, 75 Wrms
2 Avvertenze di sicurezza
I filtri di frequenze e gli altoparlanti sono conformi a tutte le diret-
tive richieste dell’UE e pertanto portano la sigla .
●Usare i componenti solo all’interno. Proteggerli dall’acqua
gocciolante e dagli spruzzi d’acqua, da alta umidità dell’aria e
dal calore (temperatura d’impiego ammessa fra 0 e 40°C).
●Per la pulizia usare solo un panno morbido, asciutto; non
impiegare in nessun caso acqua o prodotti chimici.
●I componenti devono essere montati nel veicolo a regola d’ar-
te in un punto con stabilità meccanica in modo da non potersi
staccare e diventare proiettili pericolosi.
●Nel caso d’uso improprio, di collegamenti sbagliati, di sovrac-
carico o di riparazione non a regola d’arte dei componenti, non
si assume nessuna responsabilità per eventuali danni conse-
quenziali a persone o a cose e non si assume nessuna garan-
zia per i componenti.
3 Messa in funzione
3.1 Sostituire il logo CARPOWER con un tweeter
Se il set di altoparlanti deve funzionare come sistema coassiale,
i logo CARPOWER illuminati possono essere sostituiti ciascuno
con un tweeter:
1) Girare leggermente a sinistra l’intero contenitore del logo e
toglierlo.
2) Girare leggermente a sinistra la parte superiore della cassa
del tweeter, toglierla e sfilare il tweeter.
3) Sul lato inferiore del tweeter togliere il coperchio girandolo a
sinistra. Non allentare la vite con testa a croce nel centro.
4) Posizionare il tweeter sull’innesto a baionetta del
woofer/midrange in modo che i contatti contrassegnati di
rosso coincidano. Quindi girare il tweeter a destra fino all’ar-
resto per fissarlo.
3.2 Collegamento
Il collegamento del set per un canale è illustrato in basso. La
fig. 1 mostra il collegamento con un tweeter montato separata-
mente, la fig. 2 illustra il collegamento in un sistema coassiale. Il
collegamento del secondo canale è identico. Collegare il condut-
tore nero dei cavi di collegamento sempre con il relativo polo
negativo per evitare l’inversione di polarità.
1) Collegare l’uscita del finale con l’ingresso IN del filtro.
2) Collegare i contatti LF del woofer/midrange con i morsetti
WOOFER del filtro.
3) Se il tweeter è montato separatamente come in fig. 1, colle-
garlo con i morsetti TWEETER del filtro. I contatti HF del woo-
fer/midrange servono per l’alimentazione del logo a LED. Col-
legarli ocon i contatti LF (varianteA in fig. 1; il logo lampeggia
a seconda del volume della musica) oppure con una tensione
continua di 12V (variante B; il logo rimane acceso con luce
costante).
Se il logo a LED è stato sostituito con il tweeter, collegare
il contatti HF con i morsetti TWEETER del filtro (fig. 2).
ATTENZIONE: Mai sostituire il logo a LED collegato corretta-
mente con un tweeter senza modificare i contatti. Altrimenti il
tweeter viene distrutto.
3.3 Eseguire le impostazioni
1) Per adattare gli acuti, ci si serve del cursore sul filtro. In posi-
zione - 3 dB gli acuti vengono abbassati in corrispondenza.
2) Un’inversione di polarità dei tweeter è possibile scambiando i
contatti positivo e negativo TWEETER sul filtro. In alcuni im-
pianti, tale operazione può offrire un suono migliore.
Nella maggiore parte degli impianti, la riproduzione è ottimale se
entrambi i canali stereo sono regolati nello stesso modo.
4 Dati tecnici
Con riserva di modifiche tecniche.
Se si desidera eliminare i componenti definitivamen-
te, consegnarli per lo smaltimento ad un’istituzione
locale per il riciclaggio.

Prosimy o uważne przeczytanie poniższej instrukcji przed
użyciem urządzenia, oraz o zachowanie tekstu do wglądu.
1Zastosowanie
TWIN ET-130 i TWIN ET-165 to wysokiej jakości zestawy głoś-
nikowe, przeznaczone do samochodowego systemu nagłoś-
nieniowego. W skład każdego zestawu wchodzi:
2 x głośnik nisko-średniotonowy, Ø130 mm lub 165 mm,
podświetlony znak firmowy CARPOWER
2 x głośnik wysokotonowy, z możliwością regulacji ustawienia
w obudowie
2 x zwrotnica przełączna
elementy montażowe i kable połączeniowe
Montując głośnik wysokotonowy w miejsce podświetlonego
znaku firmowego CARPOWER, można otrzymać system
współosiowy. Nie wolno przekroczyć maksymalnej mocy
wyjściowej dla każdego kanału:

2Bezpieczeństwo użytkowania
Ponieważ zarówno zwrotnice, jak i głośniki, spełniają wymogi ob-
owiązujące w Unii Europejskiej, są one oznaczone symbolem .
●Urządzenia (zwrotnice oraz głośniki) przeznaczone są jedy-
nie do użytku wewnątrz pojazdu. Należy chronić je przed
działaniem wody, wilgoci oraz wysokiej temperatury (dopu-
szczalna temperatura otoczenia pracy to 0 –40 ºC).
●Do czyszczenia należy używać jedynie suchej, miękkiej tka-
niny. Nie wolno używać wody ani chemicznych środków czy-
szczących.
●Urządzenia należy zamontować w miejscu, które jest mecha-
nicznie stabilne w pojeździe. Należy je umiejętnie przymoco-
wać, aby uniknąć poluzowania oraz związanego z tym
zagrożenia.
●Nie ponosi się odpowiedzialności za wynikłe uszkodzenia
sprzętu lub obrażenia użytkownika w przypadku, gdy urzą-
dzenia są wykorzystywane w innych celach niż to się przewi-
duje, lub jeśli są one przeciążone, niewłaściwie podłączone,
albo jeżeli nie zostały poddane specjalistycznej naprawie.
3Przygotowanie do pracy
3.1 Montaż głośnika wysokotonowego w miejsce
znaku firmowego ARPOWER
Istnieje możliwość przekształcenia zestawu głośnikowego w
system współosiowy. W tym celu należy zamontować głośnik

CARPOWER. Następnie należy:
1) Lekko przekręcić w lewo obudowę znaku firmowego,
następnie ją zdjąć.
2) Lekko przekręcić w lewo górną część obudowy głośnika
wysokotonowego, zdjąć ją i wyjąć głośnik.
3) Zdjąć pokrywę dolnej części głośnika wysokotonowego
przekręcając ją w lewo. Nie wolno odkręcać śruby z łbem
gniazdkowym.
4) Umieścić głośnik wysokotonowy na blokadzie bagnetowej
głośnika nisko-średniotonowego, tak aby styki oznaczone
kolorem czerwonym znajdowały się jeden nad drugim.
Następnie należy mocno przekręcić głośnik wysokotonowy
maksymalnie w prawo.
3.2 Połączenie
posób połączenia zestawu do jednego kanału został pokazany
poniżej: na rys. 1 połączenie z osobno zamontowanym głośni-
kiem wysokotonowym, na rys. 2 połączenie systemu współosio-
wego. Tak samo podłącza się zestaw do drugiego kanału.
Należy pamiętać o odpowiedniej polaryzacji: czarny rdzeń kabla
połączeniowego należy podłączyć do bieguna ujemnego.
1) Należy połączyć wyjście wzmacniacza mocy z wejściem IN
zwrotnicy.
2) Należy połączyć końcówki LF głośnika nisko-średniotono-
wego z końcówkami WOOFER zwrotnicy.
3) Jeśli głośnik wysokotonowy jest zamontowany osobno, jak
na rys. 1, należy podłączyć go do końcówek TWEETER
zwrotnicy. Końcówki HF głośnika nisko-średniotonowego
zasilają podświetlany znak firmowy. Końcówki te należy
połączyć albo do końcówek LF (wersja A na rys. 1; znak
miga zależnie od poziomu głośności muzyki) lub do napięcia
12 V, prąd stały (wersja B; znak świeci się jednostajnie).
Jeśli jednak w miejsce znaku firmowego zamontowano
głośnik wysokotonowy, należy połączyć końcówki HF do
końcówek TWEETER zwrotnicy (rys. 2).
UWAGA: Bez odpowiedniej zmiany połączeń nie wolno monto-
wać głośnika wysokotonowego w miejsce prawidłowo
podłączonego znaku firmowego. W przeciwnym wypadku
głośnik wysokotonowy może zostać uszkodzony.
3.3 Regulacja
1) Regulator suwakowy na zwrotnicy służy do dopasowania
wielkich częstotliwości. Gdy przełącznik znajduje się w
pozycji - 3 dB, następuje tłumienie wielkich częstotliwości.
2) Zamiana dodatnich i ujemnych połączeń TWEETER przy
zwrotnicy spowoduje odwrócenie polaryzacji. Może to pop-
rawić jakość dźwięku w niektórych systemach nagłośnienio-
wych.
W większości systemów nagłośnieniowych optymalne od-
twarzanie dźwięku występuje, gdy oba kanały stereofoniczne
są jednakowo wyregulowane.
4Dane techniczne
Producent zastrzega sobie prawo do zmian technicznych.
Jeśli urządzenia mają zostać ostatecznie wycofane
z użycia, należy przekazać je do punktu utylizacji
odpadów, aby uniknąć zanieczyszczenia środo-
wiska.

1 Aplicaciones
Este conjunto de altavoces de alta calidad está especialmente
diseñado para su uso en instalaciones de car audio y está for-
mado por:
2 x altavoces de grave-medio Ø 130mm o 165mm con logo
CARPOWER luminoso
2 x altavoces de agudo, puede inclinarse dentro de su caja
2 x filtros 2 vías
Material de montaje y cables de conexión
Es posible insertar un altavoz de agudo respectivamente en el
lugar del logo de CARPOWER para obtener de esa manera un
sistema coaxial. Las siguientes capacidades de carga de los
componentes por canal no deben ser excedidas:
TWINSET-130: 130 WMAX, 65WRMS
TWINSET-165: 150 WMAX, 75WRMS
2 Notas de seguridad
Los filtros y los altavoces responden a todas las Directivas reque-
ridas por la CEE y por ello están marcados con el símbolo .
●Los componentes sólo están indicados para un uso en interior.
Proteja los componentes contra las proyecciones de agua, las
salpicaduras, la alta humedad del aire, y el calor (temperatura
ambiente admisible 0–40°C).
●Para la limpieza utilice sólo un paño suave y seco, no utilice
nunca productos químicos o agua.
●Los componentes deben ser montados de una manera firme y
competente en un lugar mecánicamente estable en el coche
para evitar que se suelten y se conviertan en un proyectil peli-
groso.
●No se asumirá ninguna garantía para los componentes ni se
aceptará ninguna responsabilidad en caso de daños persona-
les o materiales si los componentes son usados para otros
fines distintos a aquellos para los que fueron concebidos, si no
se conectan correctamente, si hay sobrecarga o si no son
reparados de manera adecuada.
3 Puesta en marcha
3.1 Sustitución del logo CARPOWER por un altavoz
de agudo
Para usar el conjunto de altavoces como sistema coaxial, el logo
luminoso CARPOWER puede ser substituido por un altavoz de
agudo respectivamente:
1) Gire toda la caja del logo ligeramente hacia la izquierda y
sáquela.
2) Gire la parte superior de la caja del altavoz de agudo ligera-
mente a la izquierda, sáquela, y saque el altavoz de agudo.
3) Retire la tapa al lado de abajo del altavoz de agudo girándola
hacia la izquierda. No saque el tornillo de estrella del centro.
4) Coloque el altavoz de agudo en el cierre de bayoneta del alta-
voz de grave-medio para que los contactos de color rojo que-
den el uno por encima del otro. Luego gire el altavoz de agudo
a la derecha hacia el tope para que quede bien apretado.
3.2 Conexión
En los dibujos a pie de página se presenta la conexión del con-
junto para un canal. La figura 1 muestra la conexión con un alta-
voz de agudo montado separadamente, la figura 2 muestra la
conexión para el sistema coaxial. La conexión para el segundo
canal es idéntica. Conecte siempre el conductor negro de los
cables de conexión al polo negativo correspondiente para evitar
toda inversión de polaridad.
1) Conecte la salida del amplificador a la entrada IN del filtro.
2) Conecte los terminales LF del altavoz de grave-medio a los
terminales WOOFER del filtro.
3) Si el altavoz de agudo es montado separadamente como
muestra la figura 1, conéctelo a los terminales TWEETER del
filtro. Los terminales HF del altavoz de grave-medio sirven
para la alimentación del logo LED. Conéctelos o bien a los ter-
minales LF (versión A en la figura 1; el logo parpadea depen-
diendo del volumen de la música) o bien a un voltaje DC de
12V (versión B; el logo se ilumina con un brillo continuo).
Sin embargo, si el logo LED ha sido remplazado con el
altavoz de agudo, conecte los terminales HF a los terminales
TWEETER del filtro (figura 2).
PRECAUCIÓN: No substituya nunca el logo LED correctamente
conectado con un altavoz de agudo sin haber cambiado las
conexiones como corresponda. En otro caso se destruirá el alta-
voz de agudo.
3.3 Ajustes
1) El interruptor deslizante en el filtro sirve para adaptar las
altas frecuencias. En la posición - 3dB del interruptor, las
altas frecuencias se bajan en consecuencia.
2) Puede darse una polaridad inversa intercambiando las cone-
xiones positivas y las conexiones negativas TWEETER en el
filtro. Esto puede dar lugar a un mejor sonido para algunos
sistemas.
Para la mayor parte de los sistemas, la reproducción es óptima
cuando los dos canales estéreo se ajustan de la misma manera.
4 Características técnicas
Sujeto a modificaciones técnicas
Si los componentes son retirados de funcionamiento
definitivamente, llévelos a un centro de reciclaje para
su eliminación no contaminante para el medio
ambiente.
