INTRODUCTION
Thank you for purchasing this stage light from Monoprice!
This light features six 10-watt RGBW LEDs enclosed within an IP65-rated water
resistant enclosure for use in outdoor environments. It includes several built-in
programs for dimming and strobe effects, including a Strobe Follow mode, which allows
multiple lights to strobe in sequence, rather than all at the same time. It also supports
standard DMX-512 control signals for use as part of a larger light production.

CONTROLS AND MENU DISPLAY
The LED menu display and the control buttons are located behind a translucent silicone
panel, which helps ensure the water resistant integrity of the light. To make changes to
the light's settings, temporarily remove the panel by unscrewing the four Philips head
screws. Once you have finished making changes, replace the panel to ensure the light's
water resistant integrity. Note that the IP65 rating does not apply when the panel has
been removed.
The 3-digit LED display indicates the mode and the selected value for that function or
mode.
Press the Abutton on the
left to cycle through the
various modes and
functions.
Press the Bbutton on the
right to increase the value of
the selected function or
mode. Press and hold the
right button to rapidly
increase the displayed value.
The list will cycle back to the
beginning after the maximum
value is reached.
Once the desired value is
displayed, press the A
button on the left again to set that value for the displayed function or mode and
allow for selection of another function or mode.
Decimal point C(the one on the left) is illuminated whenever the light is in a
standalone mode.
Decimal point D(the one on the right) is illuminated whenever the light is set to
DMX mode and a DMX signal is present.
Both decimal points Cand Dwill remain OFF whenever the light is in DMX mode
and no DMX signal is present.

Master/Slave Operation
Multiple lights can be daisy chained together, with one serving as the master and the
others configured as slaves to perform whatever actions are performed by the master
unit. The master light must be set to Host mode and then can be in any mode except
DMX mode, while all the slaves must be set to Slave mode and then set to DMX mode,
using the address 001.
Note: If the daisy chain is longer than 60 meters or if it contains 20 or more light fixtures,
a DMX signal amplifier should be used to ensure that all devices get valid
instruction signals.
Note: The last device in any DMX chain must be terminated using a DMX Terminator.
You can purchase a DMX terminator (PID 601600) from Monoprice or you can
make a DMX terminator using a standard XLR male plug (PID 601651) by
soldering a 120 ohm (1/4 watt) resistor between pins 2 and 3.
3-pin XLR to 5-pin DMX Conversion
While most DMX compatible equipment uses 3-pin XLR connectors, some devices use
the official 5-pin DMX connector. To make a 3-pin to 5-pin converter simply make a
cable with a 3-pin XLR connector on one end and a 5-pin DMX connector on the other.
Connect the pins as follows:
