Please read this entire manual before using this device, paying extra attention to these safety warnings and
guidelines. Please keep this manual in a safe place for future reference.
• This device is intended for indoor use only.
• Do not expose this device to water or moisture of any kind. Do not place drinks or other containers
with moisture on or near the device. If moisture does get in or on the device, immediately unplug it
from the power source and allow it to fully dry before reapplying power.
• Do not touch the device, the power cord, or any other connected cables with wet hands.
• Do not expose this device to excessively high temperatures. Do not place it in, on, or near heat
sources, such as a fireplace, stove, radiator, etc. Do not leave it in direct sunlight.
• Do not place or install this device in an area where it can be exposed to excessive amounts of dust,
humidity, oil, smoke, or combustible vapors.
• Prior to operation, check the unit and power cord for physical damage. Do not use if physical damage
has occurred.
• Before plugging the unit into a power outlet, ensure that the outlet provides the same type and level
of power required by the device.
• Unplug this device from the power source when not in use.
• Take care to prevent damage to the power cord. Do not allow it to become crimped, pinched, walked
on, or become tangled with other cords. Ensure that the power cord does not present a tripping
hazard.
• Never unplug the unit by pulling on the power cord. Always grasp the connector head or adapter
body.
• Ensure that power is turned off and disconnected before making any electrical connections.
• Clean using a soft, dry cloth only. Do not use chemical cleaners, solvents, or detergents. For stubborn
deposits, moisten the cloth with warm water.
• This device has no user-serviceable parts. Do not attempt to open, service, or modify this device.

Suggestions for Eye Health
In order to avoid the possible eye fatigue and pains in the neck/arm/back/shoulder caused by long-time use of the
Monitor, please keep the following suggestions in mind:
1. Place the Monitor (screen) at a distance of 20~28 inches (about 50~70 cm) from your eyes;
2. Increase the blinking frequency appropriately to keep your eyes moist when using the Monitor
and moisten your eyes after long-time use of the Monitor.
3. Take a 20-minute break after two-hour use of the Monitor.
4. Take frequent breaks: keep your eyes away from the Monitor and look at a distant target for 20
seconds or longer.
5. During the break, stretch to soothe your neck, arms, back, and shoulders.
Low blue light description
The wavelength of blue light is in the blue light band. This monitor has the function of reducing blue light emission.
Can select the low blue light mode in the menu to protect your eyes (need the support of the monitor).

Stand Assembly Instructions
Attach the base to the stem and tighten with the included screw.
Insert the top of the stand into the back of the monitor. Push the bottom of the plate into the monitor until
you hear a *click.
Wall Mount Kit Specifications (VESA)
―Install your wall mount on a solid wall perpendicular to the floor. Before attaching the wall mount to surfaces
other than the plaster board, please contact your nearest dealer for additional information. If you install the
product on a slanted wall, it may fall and result in severe personal injury. MONOPRICE wall mount kits contain a
detailed installation manual and all parts necessary for assembly are provided.
• Do not use screws that are longer than the standard length or do not comply with the VESA standard
screw specifications. Screws that are too long may cause damage to the inside of the product.
• When installing a wall mount other than the specified product, its installation may be difficult.

• For wall mounts that do not comply with the VESA standard screw specifications, the length of the
screws may differ depending on the wall mount specifications.
• Do not fasten the screws too firmly. This may damage the product or cause the product to fall, leading
to personal injury. MONOPRICE is not liable for these kinds of accidents.
• MONOPRICE is not liable for product damage or personal injury when a non-VESA or non-specified
wall mount is used, or the consumer fails to follow the product installation instructions.
• Do not mount the product at more than a 15-degree tilt.
• Standard dimensions for wall mount kits are shown in the table below.

Troubleshooting (FAQ)
Problem/Failure

The power LED fails to be
turned on.
*Check whether the Monitor is powered on.
*Check whether the power cord is connected.
Plug-and-Play fails to be
achieved.
*Check whether the PC is compatible with Plug-and-Play.
*Check whether the 15-pin D-connector of the signal cable is bent.
The image is dim.
*Adjust the brightness and contrast.
Jerkiness or Moiré occurs in
the image.
*There might be electrical equipment nearby causing the electronic interference.
Increase the space away from the interference.
The power LED remains on or
flashes, but there is no image
on the screen.
*Check whether the PC is powered on.
*Check whether the graphics card of the PC is installed properly.
*Check whether the signal cable of the Monitor is connected properly to the PC.
*Check the signal cable connector of the Monitor and make sure that the pins
are not bent.

*Press [Caps Lock] on the PC keyboard and observe the power LED, in order to
identify whether the PC is operating.
Some colors are missing
(red/green/blue).
*Check the signal cable of the Monitor and make sure that the pins are not bent.
The image is not centered, or
the image size is not
appropriate.
*Press the hot key [E] to activate the AUTO (automatic image adjustment)
function.
The image demonstrates
chromatic aberration (white
does not look white).
*Adjust the RGB color or select a different color temperature.
The image/text is blurred in
the case of a VGA signal.
*Press the hot key [E] to activate the automatic image adjustment function.
There is color deviation
under the VGA signal.
*On the white output screen, select “Auto Calibrate Color” in the OSD menu to
calibrate the color.

SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
If your equipment uses an AC adapter:
Only use the AC adaptor provided with your MONOPRICE product.
Do not use the power cord with other products.
Important Safety Instructions. Please read the instructions carefully and keep them for later use.
The lightning flash with arrowhead within an equilateral triangle is intended to alert the user to the
presence of uninsulated “dangerous voltage” within the product’s enclosure that may be of sufficient
magnitude to constitute a risk of electric shock to persons and animals.
• Warning! Please refer to the information on the exterior enclosure for electrical and safety
information before installing or operating the apparatus.
• Note: If you would like to connect an external device with this product, a good quality shielded cable
must be used, which ensures the electromagnetic compatibility of the product and the used cable as
a whole.
• This product is only intended to be used as a monitor. For sound playback, additional headphones, or
speakers, possibly with their own power supply, are required. Do not use the product for any other
purpose than described in this manual in order to avoid any hazardous situation. Improper use is
dangerous and will void any warranty claim.
• For household use only. Do not use outdoors.
• Danger of suffocation! Keep all packaging material away from children.
• Only use under normal room temperature and humidity conditions.

• CAUTION：Risk of fire or explosion if the battery is replaced by an incorrect type.
• The product is only suitable for use at moderate degrees of latitude. Do not use in the tropics or in
particularly humid climates.
• Do not move the product from cold into warm places and vice versa. Condensation can cause damage
to the product and electrical parts.
• Do not use attachments or accessories other than those recommended by the manufacturer or sold
with this product. Install in accordance with this user manual.
• When installing the product, leave sufficient space for ventilation (minimum 10 cm around the
product). Do not install in bookcases, built-in cabinets, or the like.
• Do not impede ventilation by covering the ventilation openings with items, such as newspapers,
tablecloths, curtains, etc. Do not insert any objects into the housing, e.g. through the ventilation
openings. Do not install near any heat sources such as radiators, heat registers, stoves, or other
products (including amplifiers) that produce heat.
• Do not shift or move the product when powered on.

• Do not touch, push, or rub the surface of the product with any sharp or hard objects.
• Danger! To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not expose this product to rain or moisture.
• The product shall not be exposed to dripping or splashing and no objects filled with liquids, such as
vases, shall be placed on the product.
• Care should be taken so that no objects or liquids enter the enclosure through openings.
• No naked flame sources, such as lighted candles, should be placed on the product.
• Refer all servicing to an authorized service agent. Do not attempt to repair the product yourself.
Servicing is required when the product has been damaged in any way, such as the supply cord or plug
is damaged, liquid has been spilled, objects have fallen into the product, the enclosure is damaged,
the product has been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
• Make sure to rest the AC/DC Adapter flat on a table or the floor. If you place the AC/DC Adapter so
that it is hanging with the AC cord input facing upwards, water or other foreign substances could
enter the Adapter and cause the Adapter to malfunction.
• Before connecting the product to a socket outlet, make sure the voltage indicated on the product
corresponds to your local mains.
• If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent, or a
similarly qualified person in order to avoid hazards.
• Regularly check if the supply cord, product, or extension cable is defective. If found defective, do not
put the product into operation. Immediately pull the plug.
• Place the supply cord and, if necessary, an appropriate extension cable in such a way that pulling or
tripping over it is impossible. Do not allow the supply cord to hang down within easy reach.
• Do not jam, bend, or pull the supply cord over sharp edges.
• The power plug is used as the disconnect device; the disconnect device shall remain readily operable.
To completely disconnect the power input, disconnect the mains plug.
• The product may not function properly or not react to the operation of any control due to
electrostatic discharge. Switch off and disconnect the product; reconnect after a few seconds.
• Protect the supply cord from being walked on or pinched particularly at the plug, convenience
receptacles, and the point where it exits from the product.
• Never pull the plug by the supply cord or with wet hands.
• Disconnect the power plug in case of faults during use, during lightning storms, before cleaning, and
when not using the product for a longer period of time.
• Danger! Before cleaning, switch the product off and disconnect the power plug from the socket.
• When the product has reached the end of its service life, make it defective by disconnecting the plug
from the socket and cutting the cord in two.
• The apparatus must be connected to an earthed MAINS socket outlet (Class l Equipment only). Or Use
only a properly grounded plug and receptacle (Class l Equipment only).
• As long as this unit is connected to the AC wall outlet, it is not disconnected from the AC power
source even if you turn off this unit by POWER.
